Chapter Fifty-Nine;

"What?!" I practically screamed down the phone accidentally waking up Janelle who had fallen asleep on me, she stirred irritably before she started shrieking. 

"Oh crap..." I said as I lifted her in my arms and rocked her back and forth with one arm as my other one was occupied with my phone. "Aww shh...its okay boo-boo don't cry, mummy's here." I sighed with relief as she quickly settled down. 

"Why did you have to scream so loud?" Bri asked. 

"I'm in shock!" I declared as I heaved myself off the sofa and started to make my way into Janelle's room so I could put her down on the bed. 

"You know she's going through a tough time right now..." Bri told me. 

"Yeah but breaking up with Rex?" I asked, shaking my head because this was just so wrong, I couldn't imagine two people in the world that were so not suited for each other but who actually suit...I've never seen Rex happy with any girl apart from Taylor, he loved her...really loved her and Taylor was madly in love with him. 

"It's only temporary." Bri said in a breezy tone. "Like you and Daniel." 

I paused as I considered this. "But...we came to a mutual agreement. Taylor told him to f*ck off and that she never wanted to see him again!" I argued back. 

"Yeah...but," she stopped. "Urgh, I don't know! But Taylor will get through this and she will get back with Rex and they will live happily ever after - you know this." 

"How?" I asked her. "I don't know sh*t!" 

"Hold on." Bri told me before I herd some clicking noises like she was pressing buttons, as I waited I picked up Janelle's toys. Then all of a sudden Bri put me on hold, I kissed my teeth and hung up on her, she can call me back when she's done. I put Janelle in her crib before I started tidying up the living-room because it was actually looking a mess, I then went into the kitchen and made myself some hot chocolate before turning on the T.V. and watching a Friends re-run...I don't know, I was bored. Half-way through it my phone started ringing again, I looked at the screen and it was Bri. 

"Yeah?" 

"Who told you to hang up?" 

"I don't like being put on hold." I told her as I flicked through the T.V. channels. 

"Anyways," she said. "I spoke to Taylor and she told me she wasn't thinking straight and she called him up and told him she was just mad, he was like "I know, I just thought I'd let you calm down and see what you were saying tomorrow"...yeah so they're back together, YAY!" she laughed like some maniac. 

"Ok...Bri, calm down." I told her though I felt relieved. "They need each other." 

"Hmm." She said, happily. "Love is amazing, isn't it?" 

I grinned knowingly. "Thinking about Jamal there?" 

"Urgh, NO!" she exclaimed, outraged. "I was thinking about my love for...food." 

"Dog." I said. 

"Yeah and proud b*tch." 

"But I know you were thinking about Jamal." I laughed before asking her curiously. "Have you told Janet yet?" 

"No...but, nothing is going on between us two...we're just friends." She explained. 

It was my turn to, "Hmm."
