This story does have some Sonuckles story considering it involves Sonic and Knuckles in GreenHills.
Though I had a theory that after Sonic Underground, Knuckles and Sonic forgotten each other until they met again and became friends 'again' they instantly remembered each other.
Knuckles also made a vow to keep Sonics personal life a secret. Though to Sonic it was a miracle that Eggman possibly forgotten him being a prince.
I haft to be honest, if there are Sonics in the shatterverse, then they must be still with the alternate Sonic Underground.
It woulda been awesome to see the three Sonics in all three universes.
