Chapter 28

~Lilith~

She was pretty sure Mary said something as her lips kissed a blazing trail across her collarbone, but Lilith couldn't concentrate on anything other than the fingers filling her again and again at a rapid pace.

"Lil?"

The thrusts slowed, and she opened her eyes to find Mary watching her.

Lilith pulled herself together enough to ask in a breathless voice, "What was that, baby?"

Her girlfriend sighed dramatically before lowering her tone to a seductive purr, "I said, do you want to try something new?"

The question brought a fresh flood of arousal around the hand still moving between her legs. Mary smirked, curling her fingers the next time she rocked out, tearing a high-pitched whine from Lilith's throat.

Mary leaned in close, and Lilith shivered as she dragged her teeth along the sensitive skin at the underside of her jaw, "That's not an answer..."

The next thrust was deep enough to have her eyes rolling back in her head, "Yes."

Lilith could feel Mary's smile, "Yes, what?"

"Yes, I want to try something new."

Abruptly, and much to Lilith's despair, Mary pulled out and sat up. Her inner walls clenched around nothing, searching for her girlfriend's fingers. The delicious fire in her belly that had almost been stoked into a roaring blaze, dulled.

"Mary...I was so fucking close" Lilith grumbled, propping herself up on her elbows and frowning in annoyance when she saw Mary's grin widen.

She turned back to peck at Lilith's lips, "I know baby girl, just give me a second..."

Flopping back onto the pillows with a dark mutter, Lilith watched Mary rifle through the drawers of her nightstand.

She stilled suddenly as she seemed to find what she was looking for, "Close your eyes."

Lilith raised her eyebrows, "What?"

Mary glanced at her, wearing an uncharacteristically shy expression, "Please baby girl? Just for a moment?"

"Fine." Lilith threw her forearm over her face, shifting uncomfortably at the sticky warmth between her legs.

This better be good...

The mattress moved as Mary got up. Lilith listened to the rustling sounds beside the bed, her curiosity growing.

Mary cleared her throat, "Okay... you can, um, you can look now..."

Lilith opened her eyes and her mouth fell open. Standing, Mary was fidgeting a little with the buckles of the harness locked around her thighs, causing the purple silicon monstrosity strapped to the front of her pubic bone to bounce.

Holy shit.

Lilith hadn't said anything yet, she just stared with an expression of out-and-out shock at the strap Mary had attached to her body.

Mary swallowed nervously.

A month into their relationship after a night out followed by some great sex, she'd found herself browsing an online adult store on her phone while Lilith slept soundly beside her and had, on a whim, brought the toy.

At the time to Mary's alcohol-clouded brain, it seemed like a great idea, but as soon as it had arrived and Mary had actually seen it in reality, she, like the coward she was, tossed it into the back of the drawer, never to be looked at again.
