POV: 3rd Person

Seowon was heavily bullied in highschool, and of course, he tried to keep it away from Bogyeom who was his best friend - the older was brave and strong, but it wasn't his problem - even if he already had a lot on his plate, taking care of Yool while also trying to balance his studies.

The bullying was pretty mild, they were just insults and just make him feel down. He was too busy to care or pay any attention to any of it, he had a family member to take care of and himself, he also had a job. There was no time for him to feel upset or down, but at least Bogyeom was there to support him, taking time to help him take care of Yool.

He had always been scared of dogs, since he was a tinier than average child - and now taller than average, he had quite the growth spurt - and it just happened that the bullies who usually targets him picked it up and is now teasing him about it.

"Seowon! Come to the PC Bang with us!" He politely declines before one of the guys come up to him, teasing him about him being a grown man and still being scared of dogs. He had brushed them aside, trying to go his way, only to be grabbed harshly and slammed against one of the ventilation boxes.

He was fine, until he got trampled, face punched as the guy's friend starts stomping all over him. He curled up into himself, trying to shield his head while his body shook upon impact, glasses falling off of his face and onto his chest. He could feel tears well up in his eyes, and he sobs without words. He doesn't beg them, he just has to know that he needs to pick up his nephew.

When they got tired of him, scaring him with a particularly large dog, they went off, leaving him to get up with his bruised ribs. His head was bleeding, and he's dizzy, but he looked at his broken watch, breathing heavily as he put on his glasses. He's later than he should be.

"Samchon! Can you carry me home, today?" And Seowon smiles, crouching to wrap his arms around Yool, but he could feel the pain. He couldn't do anything else, but sob against the child. Yool wouldn't understand, but that wasn't what he was worried about. He was too weak to even carry his nephew, he couldn't even make the kid happy, even if the boy just hummed 'That's okay!'.

"I'm sorry I can't carry you today." He was sorry for everything, not being able to support his nephew, even if there's nothing he could do about it. The younger only pats his head like he would do when Yool was sorry, the dam from his eyes broke. Hugging the boy tightly, and stayed kneeling on the sandy ground.

"What happened to your head?" This was exactly why Seowon had been trying to avoid Bogyeom all day, as he hears the older's worried tone. He could already sense a hand coming to touch the messily done bandages, he moves away and brushes Bogyeom's hand off of his shoulder.

"It's nothing." Seowon felt his bruised lip sting as he opened his mouth to speak, avoiding Bogyeom's burning gaze of question.

"Let's go to the infirmary, first." And before he could protest, he's already being dragged out by Bogyeom, going straight to the infirmary without being able to pry his hand off of his wrist.

"I'm fine!" He pushed at his glasses that fit crookedly on his face. Something must've happened to it while he was getting beat - glasses were not something he could afford right now, trying to get in his monthly rent by the end of this week. He had been trying to bend it back since this morning, it's working.. just a bit.

"Let me fix you up at least. Who did this to you?" Bogyeom had a frown on his face as he hooks his finger under Seowon's chin to pull it towards himself, making their faces meet, treating the wound and blowing on it to lessen the pain. He clicked his tongue, his frown deepening at Seowon's state, wrapping new bandages back on, neater this time.

"Hyung.." Seowon only looked up at him, feeling water cloud at his eyes, making everything blurry. "Sorry." That was all he could say, burying his face into Bogyeom's stomach, staining the uniform with his tears.

"Such an ugly crier." It was all Bogyeom said, petting his hair and ruffling it up with a chuckle. Kneeling just slightly to hug Seowon back. "Shh."

Bogyeom was his pillar. It was all he ever needed, someone to lean on.
