POV: 3rd Person

When Gon had been away for the first time, standing in that cell because his royal blood could not sit on the cold hard floor in a tiny police station, he had seen someone who he had thought to be Yeong.

The similarities were uncanny, but.. it only extended towards the face. Everything else was way off, as the man had long, brown hair with a perm. A slouchy posture and movements that were was too.. cheery. He had a pep in his step, and he had a bright smile that rivaled the sun. But he would never be able to rival Yeong's small, shy smile that he let slip to Gon once in a blue moon.

No matter how closely Eunsup looked like Yeong, he would never compare to his Unbreakable Sword, his Captain.

It would be impossible, even if Yeong had followed him all the way here, once he did start thinking about it. Yeong would be too.. shocked. To get himself a wig, with no money, no card that would work, and a phone without signal. He wouldn't know how to gather himself and get himself anything to disguise because if this was Gon's first time here, it would also be Yeong's.

  Except, it wasn't.

Yeong wasn't here, and for once, Gon is experiencing something by himself. And it feels like he is missing someone by his side. A presence that was strong but yet able to blend with the surroundings. Gon could feel the missing person who would usually be by his side at dusk 'til dawn.

Seeing Eunsup had made Gon realize, within the few hours he'd been in this new world, that he was missing Yeong.

----------------------------------------------

  It had been a week.

It had been a week since Gon had disappeared and since then, their Captain had not eaten, slept, or had any water.

There were bags under his eyes, his usually pale skin was even paler. At an unhealthy rate, he was starting to lose all his weight, and he dragged his feet everywhere he walked. Every few hours or so, the only substance he would have was a hot, deep black coffee. The only thing that was driving the Captain of the Royal Guard, was coffee.

Hopil had tried to talk to him into taking a small break, being his closest friend within the guard. Seungah had also tried, wiggling her way into his circle and now being one of his friends as well. Even Mrs. Mo was talking to him to stop for a moment and take a break.

The King was important, and there was no way Yeong was going to rest until Gon would come back. Wherever he was, Yeong needed to know and needed to be there because what if?

What if he was hurt? What if he was eating something that wasn't getting tasted? There were too many things that had been screaming in the back of his head. The thought itself, of Gon even getting anywhere close to a door that could possibly slam on his finger and give it a bruise for a few days, had driven the man up a wall of his own mind.

----------------------------------------------

When Gon came back, he was in the bamboo forest, off to the side of their large gardens, leading to a personal beach. He doesn't say anything, he just greets with his eyes. A silent sigh of relief washed over him when his eyes went over the taller's body and found no injuries. He had been gone for a week, and looked the exact same - Yeong noted the diamond buttons, but as long as Gon came safe, he doesn't care.

It's not said, not verbally, by the team of guards tailing behind him, but they had told each other that it will be fine now. That their Captain would now get adequate rest and would eat.

When they were in the stables, when Taeul had pointed the gun at Gon's head, not to anyone's notice but the King himself, that Yeong had been 0.5406923863 seconds later than usual. He had barely swayed to the side when he had rushed in front of Gon, and had held the gun to his own head when His Majesty had moved and the gun had moved with it.
