Random Oneshots Pt. 2

Hua Yong x Sheng Shaoyu: {Laoshi!} [M]

POV: 3rd Person

This is the last day before summer break, when all students will be home for a very long time, and Xiao Huasheng feels just a little upset. His new homeroom teacher - Sheng Laoshi - is lovely. His papa definitely thinks so because after every conference, he would drive Peanut home, and tell him all about the way Shaoyu's lashes fluttered, how he smiled so kindly - and how he'll never confess his love because it's totally inappropriate.

Peanut will not survive this summer unless he does something about it.

And so, he does. He'll save his papa from his never-ending miserable single life, and help himself because he'll no longer have to suffer from that man's complaint!

When Hua Yong is there to bring him home, Little Peanut cannot hold it in anymore. Instead of getting dragged along, he turns to see Mr. Sheng still waving at him with a lovely smile. A flower crown on his head in a paint-battered apron, a very tiny messy braid on the side of his head, and his face is only slightly blushy from the sun's heat.

Peanut's papa has definitely been drooling over the man's arms, revealed by the white shirt being rolled up. But Peanut doesn't think he'll ever get why, because arms are just arms. Like stick-figure arms.

"Sheng Laoshi!.." His voice is squeaky when he calls for his teacher, "my papa is al~ways whining about never being able to confess to you! I will go deaf when I see you again because he won't stop all summer! Go out with him-" A pale slender hand slaps over his mouth, albeit not gentle, but it didn't sting either. It's firm, and he's getting dragged backwards.

Hua Yong's usually pale complexion is going red, ears bright of it and strangely, Mr. Sheng's own face is red, too. Except it reaches down from his ears to his hamster-like cheeks, and down towards his neck where the collar hides the rest from view. "Hua Sheng..! Wha-what are you saying?" The enigma's strong arms are pulling him as though he weighs nothing. And he's apologizing profusely for the 'lies' his son is telling.

"Papa! Sheng Laoshi hates liars, he'll never date you!"

Shaoyu isn't able to move a single muscle as his whole face heats up, body following along, and he's getting even hotter under the sun. "Hua Sheng's just being silly- I apologize, Mr. Sheng." Hua Yong had bowed his head, trying to cover the way his heart pounds in his ears like he was drowning underwater.

Shaoyu, genuinely, doesn't know what takes over him when it bubbles up and out of his throat: ".. Are you free Saturday on the 22nd?" He regrets it the moment those eyes land on his, soft porcelain face looking at him like he had grown a second head. "If- if not I-" he stammers, trying to take it all back as if he hadn't made a fool of himself. Maybe it had grown out of hope, but he needs to take it back or else he'll probably be fired. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I.. just forget what I said."

Shaoyu turns, and he's ready to speed walk off because if he ran he might fall on his face - but he actually almost does when a slender hand grabs onto his wrist, tugging him back and keeping him from going. Shaoyu had been so ready to go that when Yong had tried to bring him back, he had almost been pulled along if not for his feet clamping down onto the pavement. The Enigma was quick to stable them.

"I'm- I'm free. I can go. Where - where should we meet? What time?" The Enigma's words almost slur together in a frenzy, piecing together words in his head that fly out of his mouth instantly without second thought. This was it, he was finally going to get a chance with this cute little Alpha.

Hua Yong is already there when Shaoyu gets to the cafe. Standing outside with an earbud in, nervously fiddling with his sleeves, which had made his slender hands look prettier. Pale under the sunlight, and eyes sparkling when they meet Shaoyu's like he was someone special.
