Jin x Akin: {Pretense} [M-ish]

POV: 3rd Person

  Akin had presented as an Omega when he had been 12, and when he was that young, he knew what he had wanted to be. An actor.

  And unfortunately - in the world he lived in.. Omegas aren't too welcome in the entertainment industry. Even if there are few, they were fairly mistreated, and Akin had known this because while his grandmother was an amazing, award-winning actress, she had also been subjected to this hate.

  Told by the woman as he was very young, back then, that if he wanted to pursue this job in the future, he must never let them know what he was. And so he hadn't.

  From the moment he stepped into the industry, he had injected himself with inhibitors, stopping his honey dipped scent from dripping out of his neck. It had been painful at first, but he had grown used to it. Slowly, it had become something he could not go without. At every event, he had made sure he had a scent patch on, and had an inhibitor on hand, just a small dose for emergencies.

  The only one to know the truth was Jade. And the beta had told him to be careful. He hadn't condoned of this, but there was no stopping Akin when that man had made his mind. So even as he came into stardom, he was even more dead set on keeping his secondary gender from being revealed as to keep reaching his dreams of being an actor.

  Jin, who was a rather delirious Alpha with no hopes and dreams, had captured the actor in his eyes the moment he set his eyes on him. His dreams, instead of being an actor, had been to reach Akin and get the man in his arms. He had been rather delusional, sure. But.. Jin had clung onto him for so long that he had.. found something odd.

  This had only come into revelation after they had gotten together that night when Akin had gotten carelessly drunk and adorably silly. When he had brought him home, of course he had cleaned him - and had.. snuck some parts (that, he still felt a little guilty about) - and as he cleaned off the alcohol and the stench of vomit, Jin had.. smelled something more.

  Something that wasn't neither from him, nor Akin (so he thought.) The scent patches had worked well, but Jin hadn't bothered wearing them after hours in thought that he would be okay with out it, and would like to use his soothing scent on Akin if he was upset or sleepy. But as he sniffed the now clean air... the scent had not gone away.

  It smelled of dripping honey, along with a soft undertone of something else that he could not name. It does have an allure, however. And as he trailed the soft, calm scent, he had landed on Akin's scent patch. The scent had only started leaking out in stronger waves due to it finally losing its affects.

  Jin was at a loss. This man - the idol he had fallen in love with - is an Omega.

  Jin had thought he had also been an alpha, or maybe he was a beta. But these things had only ever been speculation in the industry, because while the man would have to reveal his actual secondary gender to his agent, it did not mean they had they reveal that to casting companies.

  In many interviews, however, and many posts. They all had said that he had been an Alpha. So Jin had no doubt within him to think otherwise, because why would Akin have to lie about such things anyway?

  The young actor, clearly, had not known much about the acting industry at all.

  But now, as Jin kissed his neck when they had laid in bed together, that honey scent had been strong. Strong as to be able to bring Jin into bed and make him fall in love all over again. Jin doesn't even have to have it to be able to fall in love, however. But Akin had done it anyway, nuzzling his face into the younger man's chest, snoring silently in his arms like it was his home.

  Akin had not shown his face to the public in a long time, and he had been more in the hospital than not. But even as the long time actor had been pregnant, Jin had not been able to stop himself and had pulled him through yet another round tonight. Which had been why Akin was so tired, scent coated with the younger's own.

  Ah.. but Jin had found himself feeling the older man's small bump. As a male omega, it wasn't too big even if he had already been five months in. It had only looked as though he had merely gained some weight. But even then, Jin found him to look insanely beautiful.

  So the younger man, who had a much more insatiable desire, had felt at his body, kissing down his neck and had woken the older man. "Are you serious?" Akin had whined, cat-like eyes squinting and his hand had pawed, trying to push him away. But Jin had not budged, because he had smelled the starting arousal.

  "P'Kin.. can I? Just a little more?" He had tried, and the older man had huffed.

  "You always say that, but I end up being devoured."

  "I promise this time." And again, Akin had fallen for his puppy-like eyes.

  And Jin had immediately dived, teeth biting, hands gripping, and unwilling to let go, trapping the Omega in his arms and had devoured him whole just like that. He had left Akin gasping for oxygen as the air drenched in the smell of his honeyed slick.

Author's Note: Genuinely, I miss them. And I'm praying so hard that the "casting" announcement for a mixed man is for LIT and not a recast for Jin
