Sorry this took forever!

POV: 3rd Person

Minho was actually having a very good time in California, in his vacation home. It was pretty nice, he hung out with a few friends that he hadn't caught up on for a very long time. It was fun, they partied, and his mind was practically away from Kitty. He had forgotten about her completely until the plane ride back to the airport.

The leave was unexpected nonetheless, his mother had only given him a call to tell him that she'd be away on a business trip, and telling him to come back to Seoul to stay there while she was gone. He had expected to see her at least at the airport, but she hadn't shown up. He wasn't disappointed, he loves his mother, but her work was always hectic.

Back in Seoul, he finds a text from her, vaguely saying that he'll be staying in an apartment instead of the dorms as just last year, he was complaining about having to share with people that he didn't particularly like (which was only Kitty. He had bantered very well with Quincy and Daeheon).

He's alright with it, though. Now he has a bigger space, getting a pretty view of Seoul as he dragged his luggage inside. It's a nice apartment, it's good enough to fit him and probably a few more people if needed, but Minho had no intention of sharing any time soon.

His Apartment is near K.I.S.S, so there's no problem moving back and forth, and it's convenient. He hadn't asked how much this place had cost, but judging by the view of the Han River and Namsan tower, it must've been a few billion won at least. Well, he doesn't really care anyway, it's a nice place and cozy enough.

The next semester starts soon, and he's more than ready after setting up his stuff into the apartment. New decor, sofas, TVs, home appliances, so on. There were game consoles that he would barely use because there was really no point when all he'd be doing is sit at a desk and do his work.

Which was not true, Minho does his work, but rarely as he bought his way through school, he was smart, but he'd rather not if none of the things they were teaching would be of use for his business that he would be taking over. Moreover, he was here to just be with Daeheon, his childhood best friend who had a rather different background than his own.

It's only about a week later when Dae comes to him with tears in his big eyes, sobbing to him about how his father was angry. How he was yelling at him because he had lost his scholarship to some guy in K.I.S.S, the people had chosen someone better.

The younger shows up at his doorstep, tears rushing down his face as if it was a waterfall cascading down harsh rocks. "Mwoya? (What? Or, in this case, 'What's wrong'?)" He wraps his arms around the boy who crashed into his body the second the door swings open. Minho's fingers thread themselves through the soft black hair, soothing Dae.

"Hyung.." He sobs into his shoulder, and Minho could feel his legs wobble just slightly at the sound of the male. He's kissing his temple — which would be weird if they weren't so close — shushing him and wrapping his arms completely around the male, who leans into his larger build.

"Why are you crying?" In times like these, he can't help himself but baby the younger, taking the smaller's face in his hands, thumbs gently wiping the tears away as Dae tries to blink away his tears, his eyes open, big and glossy. It does things to Minho's heart, which probably shouldn't be happening as they were friends — and dudes, but there's no judgement on that.

He then helps Dae to his sofa when he regains his composure and brought back into his right mind. The younger spills his emotions as he curls up into Minho's body. They were so close that Dae was close to sitting on Minho, or even laying his entire body on him.
