Reincarnation from Your Tie Is Crooked

POV: 3rd Person

Perth is just anyone's normal medical student who's a bit of a geek and has interest in Pokémon and is working on Thai and Japanese as a language. He works at a flower shop, and there's really nothing much to him. Just trying to get his life together and go on with it.

There are moments of happiness that he feels, and there are moments of sadness. The normal human stuff people feel. And nothing had been very interesting like what others might be having. Perth hangs out with his friends, who he enjoys the company of. He goes out sometimes. But other than that, he comes back to his dorm and does his usual routine.

Perth had also been working on a YouTube channel, along with somewhat trying to get into the acting industry. Though, that would just be a dream that he could keep to himself.

So, to sum it all up, Perth is pretty average. Nothing much to him. Until there's one day when he's walking down the street to go home, as the shop closed late today due to it being Valentine's. The bus was closed up for the day and he had missed the last stop.

Passing by the usual alleyway that he would once in a while take, he hears shuffling and rustling. A loud thud and someone's letting out a painful groan. Perth blinks. His adrenaline built up as he curiously made his way inside. Making sure to be quiet lest he gives himself away.

Really, Perth shouldn't be doing this as if he was in some Western action movie, as if he was an Avenger. But right now, he seems pretty cool, and he certainly feels cool. It was just that he's nervous.

"You think you can get above us, huh?" A silhouette speaks, and the voice is rough, he could see a man in a suit lying leaning onto a dumpster, coughing up and holding at his side that seemed to be seeped with blood, staining the white dress shirt underneath.

Perth's heart was pounding into his ear, with a frown, he picked up a rather heavy object moving silently from behind and charging. With a light but hard enough bash, the guy passes out and falls to the ground, face smushed into the mud of the alleyway. Perth is hopping over the body with a small muttering of an Australian accented English, "Sorry sir." His black shoes are getting muddy in the disgusting alleyway, but all he could think about was this poor guy. "Are you alright?" Being fairly new to the Thai language himself, his accent seeping through his words.

But the man only grunts, and for a second, Perth wants to dig a ditch and die within it. Of course, he wasn't okay! He had a cut right through his gut, "Right!- Let's get you to the hospital." He's jumping onto his feet to pull the suited man up from his spot against the dumpster. Only then does he yelp out a small, helpless cry.

"No! No hospital." It's only then did Perth realize that he was speaking in full English instead of speaking in actual Thai because the man is also speaking in English, though, it's very broken.

"I need to get you somewhere safe-"

Perth's getting cut off, again, a cry of desperation as the man really doesn't want to go somewhere that would provide him the help he needed. "No, please, just take me somewhere else!"

Which is how Perth found himself in this situation, sitting on his dorm's couch as the muscular man was all patched up, shirtless. His side is patched and stitched after a very long time. After all, Perth was still new to the medical field. "If anything's wrong, tell me."

Perth had gone into the other room to tend to his dogs, feeding them and petting them as he received an 'okay' hum from the man who he did not know. There was something about the medical student that had taken Talay away from his initial thought of running away the second the man went to sleep.

Talay's heart urged him to stay. To get to know the guy who had saved him from certain death from a rival gang, he's a mafia boss, but not so heartless that he would just leave without saying anything to the man who had saved him.

Well. That's what King tells himself, anyway.

------------------------------------------

There has never been a day in his life where Talay regretted staying at Perth's house instead of running away. Never had he regretted falling in love with the flower boy who's in medical school and soon to become a great doctor. Never has he ever regretted it. And he knows he never will.

Talay could hear his heart pounding rapidly through his ears. He could feel the adrenaline as he's trying to find his beloved boyfriend. Commanding everyone with such a loud and commanding voice that no one could resist. Fearing for their own lives that if they weren't to find Perth, terrible things would come upon them.

Loving Perth meant that he had a weakness to his cards, but yet, Talay couldn't help himself but fall for the boy who captured his full attention. The innocence of the way he laughs, the way he hugs Talay and falls into his arms whilst being blissfully unaware of what Talay was.

Living a lie and having to lie to his boyfriend was heartbreaking, especially now that he knows the boy is scared. Wondering why he was in the current situation he was in. But what could Talay do? He couldn't reveal that he was King, a mafia boss that the entire Thailand government was following after.

But as King stood before his opponent, a gun to his head, and so was a gun to Perth's. His brain could barely register the loud ringing of the shot before it fully turned all black. And as he's seeing his life go through his mind, he and Perth's cries could only wish to meet each other again. Some other day. Some other universe. In another year.

------------------------------------------

Rokko and Ratanapol's relationship has always been one of a kind. They're desperate to have each other, and the second they saw each other, it was as if the world crashed down upon them.

The look in Ratanapol's eyes when he'd seen Rokko for the first time in his life within their school campus was as if he knew him since forever. As if he was looking for Rokko, but didn't know why. As if their souls were connected and as if they were meant to meet.

It's 2050, for somebody's sake and yet, here they are, feeling a connection of fictitious things. And yet, as they sat in the older's apartment, rings on their fingers that connected them since they've gotten together, they see themselves in these two people.

A mafia boss and a medical student who had passed away in each other's arms. Buried together. And as they see their faces, the resemblance was uncanny, their head and heart aches. To feel at what their past could've felt.

To feel it all and to have not wasted it. To have basked in their love from decades ago.

But yet, still. They decide to bask in this life instead. To live out what their past would've wanted, and could've been. And to also live for themselves.
