HaoBin: {School President Rebels} [F]

Based on what Jongwoo said in ep 7 during Tomboy perf: "It's like a class present who's acting out"

POV: 3rd Person

  In Star Planet High, an all-boys boarding school, there's a school president.

  It's unknown to why he suddenly started changing, but it was a complete one-eighty of what he used to be before.

  Before this change - when he started wearing leather and dark outfits with a grumpy attitude - Hanbin was bright. A big smile always on his face and his cheeks would scrunch up in those hamster-whiskers, lashes meeting his cheeks. He really only ever had nice things coming out of his mouth, and he always seemed so optimistic.

  But right now...

  "Yah, throw this away!" or.. "Mop the floors!"

  Instead of.. "Let me help you get that!" and "Tell me if you need anything!"

  Instead of the fear that they should feel, the student body had felt confused. Lost, and honestly, a little worried. In the dorms in upper floors, his usually clean room was now messy. Clothes all around and the notes he wrote lie on the floor like they were nothing.

  The loving post-its on his door for the community to read as encouragement had become somewhat rude. Though of course, they can all tell he's hurting with the way they still kept a certain softness to them.

[I hope everyone has a bad day.] or [Quit standing at my door.]

  What was clear, however, was the way he stopped leaving the dorms every weekend, and would instead lay in his room with a big hoodie on and sweats. Only ever leaving when he had to eat or use the bathroom.

  His glasses were stained with some sort of water, but no one dared to ask.

  But they knew one thing.

  "Ah.. he must've broken up with the guy he was seeing.." At first, it came as a rumor, but the more it went around, the truer it became. Though there were no pictures of the guy Hanbin was seeing, there were definitely tell-tale signs in the way he skipped down the halls after finishing a call, or when he giggled to himself at a letter, glancing out the windows with his cheeks burning red.

  And this, of course, went under the nose of both the school president, and the vice president Zhang Hao. See, Hao is usually busy managing things in the other part of the dorms or within the school because it was massive. So he wasn't able to catch up with how Hanbin has been as of late. No one decided to tell him until Woongki let it slip. Ah, that mouth of his.

  "Hanbin-ah," he knocked at the boy's door, only to hear silence. "Sung Hanbin?" The copy set of master keys dangling in his hands, and he's just going to intrude if there's no answer, now getting anxious. And once again, after he was met with nothing, he came in with a warning.

  "I'm coming in."

  The students crowded around the hall had watched as Hao walked into that room, anticipating the outcome. The two presidents had always been intertwined with each other - and no one would dare say it aloud - but when Hanbin had gotten all jolly about a boyfriend.. the other wing's gossip would drip over to theirs, saying:

  "Hao has been super grumpy lately.. ever since the Hanbin rumor went around.." and "the corners of his lips are super low, and he's so cold!.."

  It's.. well. It's pretty obvious. No matter how much Hao tried to hide it, the student body always knows. Especially Woongki and Seo Won.

  "What's wrong, hm?" He sits on the edge of Hanbin's bed, who doesn't dare move from his spot. From here, Hao can see dark hair peeking out from underneath a large hoodie. Very likely the same one that Hao has left since the last time he was here - which was a while ago. He can almost smell his own scent on there, as though it hasn't been washed.

  "Go away.." Hanbin's voice is shaky, croaking out his syllables, and it just makes Hao's heart ache in a way that he can't describe. If it were him, he wouldn't have let the younger hurt like this. He would've treated him right, and loved him correctly like he deserved. No one in their right mind would ever break up with Sung Hanbin. Ever.

  Clearly, that the foreigner had just thought of Hanbin as a pretty boy and taken him.

  "I can't, I'm sorry, baobei.." He can't leave the male like this. Not when he's been cooped up in here for days without leaving. "I just want to make sure you're okay." Without needing an invitation, the violinist always knows he's welcome, wiggling under the blankets and hugging Hanbin close.

  Their legs tangle up, and under the dim, yellow lamp, Hanbin's eyes look up to meet his. They sparkle with unshed tears, and he buries his head into Hao's chest. "Why didn't he want me?" A tiny voice came from the younger, and the older's heart just shatters. "Was it because I got chubby?"

  Hanbin couldn't be further from the truth, he had been so skinny, and it was starting to get concerning. "No, it's not because of you, Hanbin-ah... It's never because of you." When he tilts the dancer's head up, his hands cup at the male's face. The fat that used to scrunch up when he smiled was gone. Just bones. Hollow.

  The student president couldn't even look at him in the eyes, squeezing them shut. Those lashes dampening his cheeks, and oh does Hao's heart break.

  "Baobei.. look at me, please?" Tearful eyes stare back at his owns, wide and glossed over. "Don't let anyone hurt you, okay? It's his loss. Look at you, who wouldn't want this?" Drying the pretty face with his hands, Hao kisses the crown of Hanbin's head.

  "You're the prettiest one out there, Binnie."

  "Do you really think so?" He feels at his own hollow face, gone of any fat and now a structure that isn't healthy, "Hao-Hyung.. would you want me?" What is he even saying?.. He's too distraught to think, but the older boy is hopeful, too hopeful, and so he smiles.

  "Of course I do, I've been wanting you."

  "Then would you take me now?"

  "No, baby." A frown on those pretty lips, a frown that he so badly wants to kiss away, but not yet. Not now. Not when Hanbin isn't ready for something new. "You have to recover first, or it might hurt us both."

  "Will you wait for me?"

  "I'll wait for you any day, baobei."
