  They're out for dinner, and both of them are relatively tired, considering how Dingjie had preferred to sleep early, and Xing feels as though he might wilt if a person so much so as breathes his way. But he leans against the older man's body, and he feels better being in his space.

  They're on their phone, and waiting for the bill - Xing is only on his phone for one reason at the moment. He's so bored, that he decides to text his boyfriend, who was sitting right by his side.

I wanna snuggle you in my arms forever

  No one notices the way Dingjie blushed in the corner of the booth, pursing his lips and trying to stop a dimple from breaking out onto his face. But Xing, who doesn't even need to look at him to see it, had glanced up to give him a small wink.

Aren't you sleepy?
Stop flirting in front of our boss! (˶ ˃ ⤙ ˂ ˶)

What's the point in hiding it if they ship us anyway?

  They've kissed on more than one occasion off-screen, for their own pleasures. And more than once, they've been caught doing it.

  One time, it had been in the dressing room when Xing had told them he would be waiting for the man to finish getting dressed - and that had been true, but there was no shame in indulgence was there? And they had private time to themselves. Who would've thought Nong Zai would've walked in on him, pinning Qiu's hips down on the counter and devouring him?

  Another time, it had also been an accident - like all witnessed kisses have been. They had merely been running around on set, and Xing really just couldn't stop himself from leaning in for a kiss when it was only supposed to be rehearsal. The cupid's bow on Dingjie's soft pink lips had been too much! Xing was only a man, after all.

  Qiu had glared at him immediately, huffing with his lips jutted, and there was no way the younger man could resist!

  The man had looked around, glancing at the heads of surrounding people, and they were left to their own devices - even Peien and his boyfriend had been giggling quietly to themselves. Despite playing an angry Alpha, Heng had been rather blushy at the blatant heart eyes Peien has been giving him. No one notices a single thing when Xing swoops up to capture those lips into a peck.

  And Dingjie had pushed him away before anyone noticed. His face was starting to turn red, and the only thing shown on Xing's face had not been regret, but rather, he had been quite proud. The shorter had leaned against his shoulder again, and continued typing like he hadn't done anything wrong.

  For the rest of the evening, after they got the bill, they walked home together. Saying goodbye to their co-stars as they dropped them off in the elevator on a lower floor. Xing had taken his opportunity to plant many more kisses on those plump lips of his cute little rice cake when the elevator doors closed until the soft pale skin of his face turned as red as New Year's lanterns!

  Now that they've gotten their energy back up, charging in each other's presence, that they won't be going to sleep until another few hours.
