Mentions of weight (for those who suffer from this, just know that being 'fat' and being 'healthy' are very different things. [No one's fat anyway, so like] Love urself, don't push it. Your life matters)

POV: 3rd Person

Hanbin had been stressed about nothing in particular, he was just feeling a little.. off. To feel better, he eats. It's not like they're on schedule or had a next comeback for a month or so, but as Hanbin eats, he just felt even worse. Feeling odd about eating and stuffing his chubby cheeks.

"Stop eating so much! You're gaining weight - what will you do if you get hungry all the time during comebacks?" That was harsh, and Hanbin should be used to the way some of the staff within their group treat them by now, but the way she had said it had hit him with such a large force that he realized why he was feeling so off.

He was eating too much, so much, and maybe he should just cut down a bit. He looked in the mirror of their practice room, glancing at it beneath his bangs as he bowed his head to the lady with a muttered apology as she snatched his muffin away. Maybe he was overexaggerating, but it was the old him. The younger Hanbin who was so chubby his eyes seemed small. The younger Hanbin who had been bullied because of how 'pig-like' he looked.

His cheeks were huge, mouth still tasting the muffin that had now turned bitter. A feeling that had not bitten him in a very long time had returned. Of course, he was human, and there's only so much a human could do when insulted by something they were sensitive about. He shook his head slightly, deciding to go drink some water and practice - maybe then, he'll burn off some calories that he had been building with the excessive eating.

He breathed in, biting at his lower lip as he went over to Hao, the older only hugged him and pet his head, ruffling his fluffy hair as he smiled. The Chinese tilted his head up, eyes meeting. The older could tell something was off due to his eyes, but Hanbin only smiled, leaning into his warmth, momentarily feeling better. "So adorable." He pinches Hanbin's cheeks and gives each side a peck before kissing his plump lips as well, "and tasty." The Chinese whispers to him in Mandarin, leaning into his ear and making him flustered.

"Ay.. come on, let's practice and go home." Hanbin giggles, looking back at the mirror, eyes involuntarily darting away at his own reflection. Feeling as if his waist had gone wider, even if it was probably a figment of his imagination. He's okay. He's pretty.

-----------------------------------------------

Hanbin had thought he had been subtle lately, skipping a few meals or not eating as much. The snacks they usually get after a day of hard work had been sitting in the kitchen, waiting for him and the rest to eat. But he had refused to lately, leaving Jiwoong to eat it - though, Jiwoong had no problems with taking more.

Hao had noticed this, of course he had, the ever observant boyfriend who was so caring towards him. Hanbin loves him with all his heart, cuddling up at night in their shared bed. Hao comes in with a rather concerned look, addressing the issue.

Hanbin had actually lost some weight since then, but he was getting thinner and thinner, not managing his weight and eating notably less. Hao's arms wrap around his even smaller waist now that he hadn't been eating, kissing his neck and nuzzling him. "Hyung?" Hanbin's hands remain on the male's shoulders.

"Won't you eat with me? You're so thin now, you don't have to keep dieting. I love you no matter how you are, you know that, right?" Hanbin could feel a shiver run down his spine, feeling as if he weighed more now, but he mentally shook his head.

"I'm not hungry, Hyung." Hanbin's stomach begs to eat something, to just munch on something even if it was just a snack, but he just can't bring himself to. It begs and begs, grumbling under Hao's touch, and he frowns.

"See? Your stomach is grumbling." The Korean knows that he's avoiding the comment that Hao made about loving him no matter how he was, and he's expecting Hanbin to open up about it, cradling the younger in his arms. He whispers encouragement into Hanbin's ear, kissing behind it. "Baobei.. you're perfect, no matter what."

"I don't know.. I've just- I just feel like.. what she said was true. I've just been gaining."

"You know she's been strict on all of us, she's wrong. You aren't gaining more weight, even when you were eating, you went to the gym, she's just jealous." There are some things that Hao says that are very out of pocket, "She's been saying all those things to herself." and funny enough, Hanbin actually giggles at the 'rude' words.

"You can't say those things, Hyung." Hanbin's naturally blushy cheeks are scrunching up into a hamster-like smile, and Hao can't help himself but bend himself just slightly to completely spoon the male and give him a peck on his plush lips.

"How about we go out to a restaurant with everyone? You mentioned a good Japanese restaurant, right?"

  "Okay.."

That night, after their dinner, the two of them spent quite some time in their bedroom instead of out conversing, trying to keep quiet lest their Maknae hears. Hanbin's glad that he has Hao by his side.
