"Look at her! She really gain a lot more of beauty as she grows old." There she is again! My mom is acting as if It's her first time to see me again after a long while. But maybe she's acting right!? Because I've never seen her for a year.
"Minah, don't spoil that li'l bratty!" Dad added. I pouted at him. I'll just declare it lang na ayos na kami. Family matters are solved.
"Psh. You're so MEAN, Dad!" I glared and pouted at him like a child. Specifically, a SPOILED BRAT.
Oh yea! I forgot to say it nga pala! I am here at OUR MANSION. Meaning it's not Seo Family's property. It's freakin' ours. Mansion Le Gomez. And to be specific, nandito ako sa room ko wearing a beautiful strapless white dress. My stylists colored my hair brown and they also made it curly.
*knock knock
Agad kaming napatingin. Napatulala ako sandali sakanya. Kiniss nya lang si Dad saka si Mom sa cheeks saka lumapit sakin. Ngumiti naman aila mommy at iniwan muna kami. 1,2,3-----
"Aaaaaaaaah! Ang PRETTY PRETTY MO BESS! Kaloka ka! At ang legs! REVEALING! MWAHAHAHA!" She pointed out my legs. The style of it kasi is medyo mini dress ang type sa harap pero mahaba sa likod.
"Psh! Ako kaya ang napatulala sa ganda mo!" I said at tiningnan uli sya from head to toe. Bakit naging sobra sobrang ganda ng babaeng 'to?
"Really!? Oh My Gosh! Syempre! Bestfriend mo ko so dapat pati ako maganda!" And then she laughed and laughed hard again.
"Psh. So ingay!" I rolled my eyes na sya namang pagbukas ng pinto.
"Hija, magiistart na ang party!" Lumapit sakin si manang saka nagabot ng hindi ko alam. Pero damit I think kasi it's with Candie's Shop's Paper Bag. "Happy Birthday, hija!" She gave me the biggest smile she can have.
"Manang! Thank you very much po!" I hugged her saka tumingin kay Aia. Tumango lang si manang saka kami inalalayang bumaba ng stairs. Sa garden kasi gaganapin. Sa may pool. ♥
When I saw the garden, It's like hindi ko kinalakhan 'tong lugar na'to. Red balloons are floating on the pool. A dancefloor. Table and seats for my friends and sa loob naman iwewelcome yung friends nila mommy. Sabi kasi nila, ayaw nilang isingit yung business partners nila sa party ko.
"Everything is organized! And look at that! The Amperes!" Aia pointed out the table na Amperes lang ang naroon.
They greeted us. I smiled at them. But my heart is finding nemo. I mean, Im finding for a special someone.
"And now, we welcome our birthday girl, LEANNE!" Nadistract ako bigla sa iniisip ko ng magsalita ang Emcee. The emcee said as she saw me approahing the party. She gave me a big smile. I alsp smiled when I found out that it's my two unnies. (Older Sis) Andrea unnie and Eunice unnie.
I walked towards them where the special chair is waiting for me. Nakalatag ang red carpet and it's like sa Oscar's Awards ako pupunta. The music starts while Im walking. Sa bawat table na nadadaanan ko, they are greeting me. Pero ang lakas ng kabog ng dibdib ko. Where is he? Bakit hindi pa ba sya nagpapakita? Or should I say, umattend ba sya? Pagod na ba sya kakahintay kung kelan ako sasagot?
Nang marating ko ito, umupo na ako uncomfortably dahil sa malikot kong mata. My eyes want to find HIM.
"So please, give us your message" Unnies said. Aww! Speech nga pala!
"I-Im very thankful sa lahat ng umattend! Im very thankful sa inyong lahat! To my friends, To my love ones and to God na laging nandyan sa kabila ng kamalditahan ko! Let's enjoy the party, guys!" Bumalik na ako sa special seat ko.
"And now we will start with the 18 roses." Pumailanlang na ang music.
I stood up saka ipinakilala si. "Tito Enrique Gomez!" Dad kissed me in my cheeks at binigyan ako ng rose. He is always my first dance simula palang nung bata ako.
"Jarred Dale Y-Gomez!" Next up is my sweet brother who took care of me back then in my Teenage days.
"You're so maarte parin. You made your surname shorter!" I said at hinampas ko yung dalawang rose na nasa akin.
"Tch. I was about to say na You're beautiful!" He gave me the 'You missed it!' Look.
"Psh. Edi wag! Di ka makakaapekto sa beauty ko!" I rolled my eyes at him and heard him chuckled.
"Happy birthday, My Young Lady!" he kissed me in my cheeks.
"Errol Sean Yoon-Gomez" next up is The Boy who cried Wolf. Lols. Sya ang troll king ng lahi namin.
"Hey, sis! I know na gwapo ako! Wag mo ng sabihin! Baka mas mafall pa sakin yun oh!" Nginuso nya si Ate Eunice which is one of the emcees.
Binigyan naman sya ng 'I'll kill you later' look. Kinuha na ni Sean yung rose at binigay sakin. Minagic nya daw. Minsan talaga, ayaw mo nalang kausapin 'to eh!
"You're so kulit talaga! Ipapapaslang na talaga kita kay Eunice unnie!" I rolled my eyeballs.
"Tch. Oo na! You're so beautiful, sis! Enjoy your night!" He winked at me.
Sinundan na 'to ng Amperes. Mark-Jerich-Clark at iba pa saka sinundan ng mga Volts at Friends ni Dale then Friends ni Sean.
But my last dance..... I don't think he'll go. It's our turn na dapat.
"Uhmm... Unfortunately, The 18th rose is not here so We'll have Carlo Kang!" Tapos na si Carlo kasama nung Amperes but Im glad na pumayag syang maging 18th rose ko.
"I know you're looking for him!" He smirked at me.
"Nae! Isn't he coming? Damn that jerk! Psh!" (Nae-Yes) My eyes become teary.
"Ssshhh! Just trust him!" He gave me a smile. I rolled around bilang part ng dancestep but pagharap ko uli.
"I told you, Im not a JERK! Just A Man InLove ♥"
