Chapter 11 - Understanding

At Home :

"Relax Marco, calm down. Everything will be alright don't worry." Elliot says. Marco is still roaming around his room. "Babe, please sit down, you can do this." Elliot encourage him. Marco sighs. "I don't know El, today is the first time I'm going to office as a CEO. (pauses) will I able to do this? Till now ma has handled everything, will I also be able to do like her?" he says.

"You can do better than me." Maya walks in. Marco hugs her. "I don't know ma, I'm a bit nervous." he whishpers. "Believe in yourself Marco. You can do better than anyone of us." she says.
Marco takes a deep breath. "Now come with me. I have made your favourite pudding. Elliot, you also come." Maya says. Both follow her.

On reaching the dining table Maya feeds him the pudding. Daniel makes an irritating face which Elliot notices. "Maya, don't you think you have been a little hasty? You made him a CEO at such a young age! What does your son know about business, huh?" Robert says. Maya completely ignores him. "I think I should go now." Marco stands up and heads towards the gate. Suddenly Marco's foot slips and he is about to fall but Elliot saves him.

"Oh my God Marco! Are you okay?" Maya shouts. "Yeah I'm fine." Marco says. He sees that someone has deliberately spilled water there. He looks at Daniel and understands that no one else can do this except him. "Are you alright?" Elliot asks. "I'm fine don't worry. And by the way, can anything happen to me while you're here?" he winks. Elliot hugs him. "Now I have to go." Marco says and leaves for office. Elliot feels bad seeing all this. Somewhere he also knows that Daniel has done this to hurt Marco.

At the Office :

Marco reaches his office, all the stuff members welcomes him wholeheartedly. He greets everyone and head towards his cabin. His cabin is very beautifully decorated. He looks at the wall paintings and his beautifully designed desk. Marco sits in his chair and takes a deep breath. His assistant Maria handovers him some files to read. He takes the files and starts reading.

After working continuously for four hours, he finally gets tired. He hears a knock on the door. "Yes come in." he says. "So, how's your day going sir?" Elliot walks in. "Oh my God!! What are you doing here baby?" Marco smiles on seeing his boyfriend. "I thought you needed me, so I came." Elliot replies. Marco immediately hugs him and kisses him. "Are you hungry?" Elliot asks. Marco nods. "Then let me order some foods for you." Elliot says. "But I want to eat my meal." Marco smirks. He shoves him on the sofa and starts kissing him.

Elliot kisses back. Marco starts unbuttoning his pants. "Not here! It will be a mess!" Elliot stops him. "Fine!" Marco says and starts kissing on his neck. Elliot moans and grabs Marco's hair. "I love you sooo much baby" Marco says between the kisses. Elliot laughs. Marco unbuttons his shirt and starts kissing his chest. Elliot moans again.

"It's a good thing that my son is interested in boys. Otherwise God knows how many children would have been wandering here and there in the house." Maya whishpers while watching them on the security camera. She laughs and closes her laptop.

After a little makeout session at the office both of them finally backs into normal. Marco looks at Elliot and sees he is completely zoned out. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Nothing." Elliot replies without looking at him. Marco senses something wrong. "Did anyone at home say anything to you? Did Daniel do something?" he asks. Elliot sighs and looks at him. "No it's nothing like that. Actually I was thinking that we should shift now." he explains.

"Are you sure?" Marco asks. "Yes 100% sure." Elliot replies. He looks so lost. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Marco asks. "Look Marco, I'm trying my best to make these things normal for us. But its not happening and I don't know why. Last night, whatever we did is out of excitement. I know you want more but I'm still not comfortable with that." Elliot explains. Marco stands up and looks directly at his eyes.

"Why do you think I loved you just for the sake of having sex? Do we just have sexual relationship and nothing else? I love you not for sexual pleasure but of your soul." Marco says. "I know this is not easy for you. This is not easy for me either. I promised you on our first date that I would not touch you unless you wanted me to, then how come today you thought that I only want to have sex with you?" he adds. Elliot looks at him with teary eyes. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you. I'm sorry." he hugs him. "It's okay. But don't think like that again, okay?" Marco says.

They sits on the sofa and eats some food when Marco notices a deep scar on Elliot's hand. "What is this? Where this came from? El, please don't hide anything from me. Tell me what happened?" he asks. Elliot looks at him and says. "After you left Daniel came to me and threatened to take everything away from you, including me."

Marco sighs. He was about to say something but gets interrupt by the notification. He takes out his phone and sees a text from Daniel. 'THE GAME HAS STARTED SWEETHEART, LET'S SEE WHO WINS THIS TIME.'  Marco rolls his eyes and switches off his phone screen. "Don't worry, he has enmity with me but I will not let a single blow come to you. And I will punish him very badly for what he has done." he assures him. "Let's go home." he holds his hand and leaves the office.

At Home :

"See, I don't have any problem with this. Even I want you guys to live your life peacefully on your own." Maya says after hearing everything. "So you don't miss me huh?" Marco jokes. Maya pulls his ears and says "Don't act too dramatically in front of me okay? Otherwise I will make these ears red." Elliot laughs loudly. "You are also no less. I know everything." Maya winks. Both blushes and hugs her.

"Who put chilli instead of sugar in my tea?" Daniel shouts from his room. "I did." Marco says proudly. Maya gasps. She pats his shoulders and leaves. Marco looks at his boyfriend and smiles. "Let me help you with packing." he says. They start packing their bags.
