Chapter 93 - Fondness

At the Mansion:

"No, not at all you're going there!" Elliot argues. "I'll be save mumma please.." Eleanor requests. Elliot stands up from the couch and approaches her. "I said no you're not going that dangerous place, that's it." he scolds. "Why not? Please na, I promise I'll come back before seven." Eleanor requests again. She hugs him tightly from behind. "I know what you're thinking but trust me please, I'll be fine." she says. Elliot sighs. "Fine go, but as promised you have to come back before seven." he orders. "For sure mumma." Eleanor promises. She takes her bag and leaves the room.

Marco enters the room. He frowns seeing his partner so tensed. "What's wrong?" he asks. "Elle has gone on a picnic with her friends to a so-called haunted house." Elliot replies. Marco almost laughs. "Babe, you're laughing? What's wrong with you huh?" Elliot scolds. Marco sits next to him on the bed and holds his hands. "Don't worry my love, she will be fine." he says. "But still, she's only sixteen babe!" Elliot says back. "She has a tracker in her locket remember? Also for her safety, she has a gun with her! Calm down okay?" Marco comforts him. He tries to kiss him but gets disturbed by the little one. "Yeh chirkut, mera khandan nahi badha hone dega.." he mumbles. "How big of a family do you need huh? Get off!" Elliot pushes him and picks up Arjun in his arms and leaves.

At school:

Siya, Charlotte, Christine and Ayushi are attending their classes while Roger is lost in Sylvie's thoughts. He is continuously blushing looking outside of the window of his class. His chemistry teacher scolded him once, but now he's more concerned about the chemistry with his crush than the chemistry in his book. He's so in love with her and it's clearly visible in his eyes. "Roger! Please pay attention to the class." the teacher shouts. He comes back to reality and looks at his copy. He literally drew her face instead of the diagram. His friends are looking at him and smiling.

On the other hand, Siya is attending her English literature class, but her attention is somewhere else. Her hopeless eyes are looking at someone sitting on the front bench. "Hey, are you okay?" her friend Kayla whispers. "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry." Siya replies putting a fake smile on her face. Her heart skips a beat when that person looks at her. Suddenly the bell rings and everyone starts going to their next class. "Come on let's go." Kayla pats her shoulder. They both go to their fashion designing class, while her crush goes to another.

At the Flowershop:

Roger skips his classes and comes to meet Sylvie. She is as usual standing on the counter, talking to a costumer. Roger notices another lady there and thinks, she's probably her mother. He enters in without wasting any more seconds.

"Hey.." Roger looks at her. "Hey, how can I help you today?" Sylvie asks. "I don't need anything, I just want you to take a walk with me if possible." Roger replies. Sylvie looks at that lady. "It's okay, you can go." she says. They steps out of the store and starts walking towards a park.

At the Haunted House:

Eleanor and her friends are enjoying their picnic in this so-called house of ghosts. It was her idea only to visit here and prove it's not haunted like some people say. One of her friends Gracy tries to scare her wearing makeup but fails. "Your idea was insane of coming here." Harry says. "I'm glad you're enjoying but make sure to wrap everything before five." Eleanor orders. "Sure, don't worry." Gracy says. They plays the horror musics and starts roasting the ghosts.

At the Flowershop:

"So what do you think?" Roger asks politely. "You know everything about me now and to be honest, you don't to be afraid of my family especially of my dad. He is a Mafia King but he's genuinely very caring." he says. Sylvie looks down. Her cheeks turns red because of blushing so much. Roger holds her hand softly and waits for her answer. "I'm not scared of anyone.. well, thanks for telling me your story Roger." she replies. "So, are you coming to my house for Ganesh Chaturthi?" Roger gets super excited. "Yes.. and I hope your grandma will like my decoration." Sylvie says.

Roger immediately hugs her out of excitement. "She's gonna love it.." he says. Sylvie breaks the hug. "See you then.." she looks at him. "I'll wait for you." Roger says. Sylvie then enters the shop and explains everything to her mother. Roger stares at her for sometime then leaves.

At evening:

Everyone comes back home including Eleanor. "As promised, I came back before seven." she says. Elliot rolls his eyes. All of them sits together in the living room and discuss about their day, except Roger obviously.

"Ganesh Chaturthi is coming up - does anyone remember or has everyone forgotten?" Maya joins them. "Everyone remembers, ma. The preparations have already started." Marco replies. "I've arranged for the idol to be made, Atharv and Riya are handling the guest list, Lisa is taking care of the food and David is in charge of security. The responsibility for the prayers and rituals is yours." he says with a swag. Maya sighs.

"And I've arranged for the flower decoration; it'll be ready on time." Roger says. "Ohooooo....." everyone looks at him. "Iss fool ko aajkal phool o ka bada shouk chadha hai.." Marco teases. "What dad? I'm going, I've lot's of things to do." Roger feels shy and runs towards his room. "At least tell us the name bro..." Eleanor shouts. "Sy.... shut up!!!" Roger shouts back. They all laughs at him.

Marco comes and stands in the middle. "This Ganesh Chaturthi will be the greatest of all time." he says. "Bilkul, Mumbai cha Raja America madhe aanyacha aahe... (we will bring Mumbai's King to America..)" Atharv says. "And we will celebrate in such a way that people will be confused whether it's California or Mumbai." Marco says. Elliot laughs. "And this chirkut will be our little Ganesh." Marco says looking at Arjun. "Don't tease him babe... he's the cutest baby in the world." Elliot says kissing his son's cheeks. "We also need a hug.." Eleanor, Siya and Charlotte jumps on him. Later, Christine and Ayushi also join. Marco clicks their pictures. "Wait I also exist!" Roger comes down. He quickly joins them for a group picture.

"Hey deva, keep them happy like this." Maya prays seeing everyone so happy together.
