Chapter 48 - Loved Ones

One month later :

The twins are one month old now and today is their first vaccination. Elliot is calm but still nervous. On the other hand Marco is roaming around the room like a he's in labour. He is panicking so much thinking about the after effects of the injections. "I swear if my princesses got even a little pain then I will shoot the doctor." he says. "Oh come on babe this is too much now. I know you're nervous but please try to act like a normal person. This injection is being given to them for their better health. Okay." Elliot scolds. Marco nods. He looks at his daughters. "Look at them baby, they have no idea what is going to happen to them today." he says. Eleanor and Siya smiles looking at him. "Bro the doctor has arrived." Atharv informs. "Tell her to come in." Elliot says.

Doctor Kate enters in. She sits on the bed near the babies. "They won't have too much pain, right?" Marco asks. "No sir. There may be slight pain, but it will subside quickly." Kate replies. "They are brave, they can handle it." Elliot says. Marco stays silent. The doctor takes out the injection and holds Siya's legs first. Elliot also holds her tightly. Kate puts her injection and immediately Siya starts crying. "No it's okay baby, its gonna be alright." Elliot kisses her cheeks. "Give her to me." Marco takes Siya from him and tries to calm down her. Kate takes out another injection and holds Eleanor legs. She puts her injection and the baby starts crying too. "No baby it's okay, you're brave right? It's okay." Elliot holds her in his arms. "I'm sorry guys but this is good for your health. You're gonna be okay soon." Kate says. She gives two teddy bears to the twins and leaves.

An hour later:

Siya and Eleanor are sleeping after crying so much. Marco is sitting next to them on the bed looking at them. "Did you see the tears in their eyes? I can't see them like this." he whispers. Elliot comes and hugs him tightly. "I know babe it was hard to see them crying like this but they will be alright I promise." he says. "Yes." Marco agrees. Elliot rests his head on his chest and looks at the munchkins. Marco slowly slowly moves his fingers on his hair. "We will always stay together like this, right?" Elliot asks. "Obviously darling. But why are you saying this?" Marco looks at him. "Nothing I just saw a bad dream last night that's why." Elliot replies. "Oh okay, it was a bad dream so forget it." Marco says. Elliot nods and closes his eyes.

Antony knocks the door. "I'm really sorry to disturb you sir, but there's something going on." he says. "What is it?" Marco asks. "I can't tell you here sir, you have to come." Antony replies. The couple looks at each other. "Fine, I'm coming." Marco says. He climbs off the bed and wears his favourite black suit with white shirt. "I'll be back soon okay baby? Till then, Atharv is here for your safety. Take care." he kisses his forehead and leaves. Elliot goes and lies down next to his daughters.

At evening:

Atharv is playing with the babies in the living room while Elliot is preparing the dinner. "Do you know when mom will come back from Singapore?" he asks. "I don't know exactly I guess after a week." Atharv replies. Elliot nods. Atharv's phone rings and he goes inside. Elliot turns off the gas and sits on the sofa. Suddenly he sees that Eleanor and Siya holding each other hands and smiling. "Aww, Marco deserves to see it." he takes out his phone and starts recording. He finishes the recording and immediately sends the video to Marco. "Sir, Sam is here. He is saying he wants to meet you." Sebastian walks in. "I told him that you're busy but he is not listening." he says. Elliot sighs. "Let him in." he says. Sebastian nods and walks towards the door.

A few seconds later Sam enters. "What do you want now?" Elliot asks him. "I'm just here to make a deal with you." Sam replies. "Deal? What kind of deal?" Elliot asks. Sam approaches him. "You already know that Daniel is obsessed with you. He wants you, he needs you. So he sent you a offer." he replies. "And what is it?" Elliot crosses his arms. Sam chuckles. "He knows that you love this family so much, but he likes you more." he says. "Don't try to blackmail me okay? I'm not falling for it." Elliot interrupts him. "I think you don't know him yet. Daniel is someone who will get what he wants. He will get you without any doubt." Sam says. "Not even in his dreams dear." Elliot says back.

Sam grabs his hand and looks directly into his eyes. "Don't be so silly Elliot, he's not Edward or your uncle John okay? He always gets whatever the fuck he wants. And if didn't get he snatch! So, don't make him to do that." he says. Elliot shoves his hands and moves away. "I'm not doing anything okay? You can go now." he says. "I heard that Maya is not here. She's in Singapore right now. Also, your sister and her husband are also out of town." Sam says. "What do you mean by that?" Elliot asks. "Means, if you don't wanna loose your loved ones, then surrender yourself to Daniel. He won't hurt anyone. But if you don't then I don't know he may be kill your daughters too." Sam replies. "Shut the fuck up! Don't you dare to look at them rascal!" Elliot yells. "What's happening?" Atharv walks in.

"The deal is simple, give him what he needs and he will do what you want." Sam says. "No one is going to do nothing, so get lost idiot." Atharv says back. Elliot stands in front of him. "You're lucky that Marco is not here. And if you want me to not tell him anything about it, then get the fuck out of her so you can stay alive!" he says. Sam sighs and turns around. "And one more thing, tell Daniel that he would never be lucky enough to get the dust of my feet. And if he has so much courage then he should come forward and talk." Elliot says. "You have heard it, right? Now fuck off." Atharv says. "See you in hell Elliot." Sam smirks. He looks at everyone and leaves. "Are you okay bestie?" Atharv asks. "Yes I'm fine." Elliot smiles.

At night :

Elliot is standing at the balcony waiting for Marco to come home. The twins are awake and playing with themselves. He sees a car stops at the gate and Marco gets out from it. "Thank God." he says. Marco enters the room and hugs him. "I missed you so much." he says. Elliot kisses him. "I saw the video a few minutes ago, they were looking so cute while holding hands." Marco says. They breaks the hug and he enters the bathroom. He comes out wearing a white towel only. "Is everything alright there babe?" Elliot asks. "Yeah, don't worry." Marco replies. He wears his pajama only and sits on the bed.

"So, how's the day?" Marco asks. "Not the way I wanted to." Elliot replies. "Why what's wrong baby?" Marco asks. "Sam came here. He tried to blackmail me saying that if I don't do what Daniel wants he may be hurt our family." Elliot replies. "What the fuck! Woh behen ka loda iha aaya tha? Why you let him enter huh? You should have call me instead." Marco says. "I know I'm sorry." Elliot holds his hand. "I think I have to do something." Marco mumbles. He takes a deep breath. Elliot serves the dinner. And they sits on the couch and eats. "I think you should stop worrying about it." Marco says. Elliot blinks his eyes. They finishes the food and starts feeding Eleanor and Siya.

After the twins falls asleep they puts them in the cot. "Tell me what can I do to make you feel better again?" Marco asks. "I'm fine babe." Elliot replies. "No you're not." Marco says. He pulls him closer and kisses his forehead. Elliot hugs him. They lies down on the bed and Marco wraps him in his arms again. "Don't worry darling, I'm here with you." he says. Elliot feels sleepy and closes his eyes. "Alexa, turn off the lights." Marco orders. The lights turns off and he pulls Elliot so close to his chest. There's no place for air to pass between them. He kisses his cheeks and closes his eyes. "I love you." Elliot whispers. "I love you the most." Marco says. He smiles seeing Elliot sleeping like a baby in his arms. A few minutes later he also falls asleep.
