Chapter 96 - Rescue

Charlotte wakes up to the loud sound of a gunshot. She looks around and starts crying. "Oh you're awake now." a masked man comes in front. "Who are you and why have you brought me here?" she yells at him. "Knowing who I am won't benefit you girl, so just do as I say quietly." the man replies. Charlotte is tied to a chair with a rope. She struggles to move but fails. "What you want from me?" she asks. The masked guy kneels down and lifts her chin up.

"You're so innocent my dear. You have no idea what's going to happen to you now.." he smirks. "If I even get a scratch, my dad will kill you! LET ME GO!!" Charlotte shouts. "Oh really? Who's gonna tell him, girl?" the man laughs. Another guy approaches him and they discuss something in silent. Charlotte observes the place carefully. It's an old factory, a bread factory maybe. There are more people standing outside and everyone has a gun in their hands. She notices that everyone has same tattoo on their left arm. 'Maybe these people are from a gang, the kind that kidnaps children and sells them abroad!' - she thinks.

The masked man comes back. "Alright then, let's take you on a vacation." he says. "What do you mean?" Charlotte panics. "To Pakistan. We are going to Pakistan my dear." the man replies. "No further questions, let's put her in the car." another guy orders. "No let me go!! Help me please!!!" Charlotte cries out. "Keep quiet bitch! You talk too much!" that guy yells. "Please don't do this to me, don't you know who's my father?" Charlotte shouts. "No!" the masked man replies. "So tell me who are you?" he asks.

"Charlotte Fernandes - the daughter of Marco Fernandes!" Eleanor says from behind. "Didi!" Charlotte shouts. "What are you guys looking at? Kill her!" the guy orders. The gun mans starts charging her but Eleanor smoothly dodges their shots and now she starts firing. She kills two men and injured others. "Let's go!!" she unties her sister and they start running away. The kidnappers run behind them.

The duo runs into the forest having no other options. "Stop there or I'll kill both of you!" the masked man shouts. Eleanor fires a bullet towards him. "Shut up you son of a bitch!" she yells. Suddenly, they both stops seeing a very deep gorge in front of them. "Now what?" Charlotte asks. Eleanor turns around and sees that the kidnappers have surrounded them. "There's no place to go now girl." the man says. Eleanor kicks him down and puts the gun on his head. "Let us leave or I'll kill him!" she warns the others. The masked man grabs her hair and throws her towards the gorge. "Nooo!" Charlotte screams. Luckily, Eleanor didn't fall; she grabbed onto the tree just in time. The kidnappers starts dragging Charlotte away. "Leave her alone you bastards!!" Eleanor shouts. She struggles to get up but her hands are slipping.

The kidnappers are just about to take Charlotte away when Roger arrives there. Siya is also with him on the bike. They get off and starts fighting with the guys. Roger grabs one by the head and slams it hard onto his bike's engine. Meanwhile, Siya and Charlotte run to save Eleanor from falling, but it's impossible to reach that point. "Hold there tightly Elle! I won't let anything happen to you trust me.." Siya shouts. Eleanor just smiles. "Her hands are slipping, do something!" Charlotte shouts. They start searching for a rope but it's impossible to find it in the middle of the forest. Eleanor tries her best to hold the tree tightly but it's so slippy.

"Elle!! Hold that branch tightly, I'll pull you up.." Siya throws a very big branch down to her. Eleanor grabs it immediately. Siya and Charlotte gives their best to pull her up. In the meantime, Roger gets a bullet in his right arm and he falls down. "Enough of drama now! Get that girl and let's get out of here." the masked man shouts. Roger grabs the other man's leg to prevent him going towards his sisters. The masked guy starts hitting him but he doesn't give up. The guy kicks Roger and starts approaching towards Charlotte. He catches her and drags her away, as a result Eleanor slips down again and it's impossible for Siya to hold that branch alone. Just the moment they thinks they lost, hundreds of bullets starts firing behind them.

Marco is here with his team. Charlotte bites that man's wrist and runs towards Siya. Roger also joins them. Marco's team surrounded the kidnappers from every side. "What did you think, that just because the kids have grown up, their father has forgotten how to hunt? Huh?" Marco growls. He punches the man very hard on the face. Atharv and David starts pulling Eleanor up. "How dare you even thinking of harming my children?" Marco yells. "If you have a grudge against me, then deal with me directly. Why are you involving my kids, Fardin?" he asks. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.." Fardin apologies. "Sorry my foot!" Marco shoots him. He shoots the other man too.

"Dad!!" Charlotte hugs him. "Are you okay baby? Did they hurt you?" Marco asks. "No, but I got scared." Charlotte cries. The team successfully rescues Eleanor. "Thank God, you're fine." Marco hugs her immediately. "For a second, I thought I'll die today." Eleanor says. "Don't say like that, I won't let anything happen to you okay?" Marco kisses her forehead. "Atharv, take Roger to the hospital right now, he's bleeding too much. I'm taking the girls home." he orders. "Sure bhai." Atharv takes Roger with him and everyone leaves the place.

At the Mansion:

"Mumma!!" Charlotte calls. Elliot immediately hugs her tightly and kisses her forehead. "Thank God you guys are safe." he says. He notices Eleanor scratches and looks at her. "I'm fine mum, it's nothing." Eleanor says. Elliot hugs his twins and takes a deep breath. They sit together on the couch and Elliot applies the medicines on their wounds. "Now tell me how did it happened?" Marco asks.

Eleanor clears her throat. "I was in my class when I read an article about these gang who kidnapped minor kids. I don't know how and what happened I rushed to see Charlotte and... just then I saw them dragging her into the car. I tried to stop them but they ran away. So I took my friend's bike and followed them." she explains. Marco sighs. "I don't care about anything now, I just want my family to stay safe." Elliot says. "I'll make sure nothing happens like this again." Marco says.

Roger comes back from the hospital. Elliot hugs him tightly and kisses on his wound. Because Roger believes from his childhood that if Elliot kisses his wound, he will recover fast, well it's still going on till now. "Let's just forget what happened, and gets some sleep now. Everyone must be so tired." Maya says. "Yes, I'll send your dinner in your rooms." Lisa says. The kids walks towards their rooms.

Marco comes and hugs Elliot. "It's okay, it's over now and they are safe." he comforts him. "Promise me, it won't happen again?" Elliot says. "I promise my love." Marco kisses his forehead. Elliot nods. "I love you.." Marco says. "I love you too.." Elliot smiles finally. They go upstairs in their room after finishing the dinner.
