Chapter 77 - Stay with me

At the Hospital:

Marco takes Elliot to the hospital for medical checkup. Atharv and David went home with Roger. Elliot is back into his senses but he's still weak. He is lying on the bed silently. Marco is with him talking to the nurses. "Sir, the doctor is here." the head nurse informs. Marco looks at Elliot then leaves the room. "Please be careful with him." he warns the doctor. "Don't worry sir. Now excuse me." the doctor enters the room. "Is everything alright?" he asks the nurse. "Yes sir." one of the nurse replies. Dr. Steve nods wearing the gloves and the stethoscope. He then checks the monitor and tells something to the nurses. "I hope you won't mind." Steve goes to check the scars.

"Noo!!" Elliot freaks out as soon as he touches him. "Don't please.. stay away!" Elliot starts screaming. "What happened?" Marco immediately enters in. He runs towards Elliot and hugs him tightly. "He freaked out suddenly." Steve replies. Elliot is crying holding his husband tightly. "It's okay El, he is a doctor he won't anything wrong trust me. He is just checking your scars don't worry." Marco comforts him. But still Elliot is not ready. He is sobbing and is not leaving him. "Isn't any female doctor here?" Marco asks. "Yes there is. Let me send her here." Steve replies. Elliot is scared as hell. Those horrific visions are flashing in front of his eyes. "It's okay baby I'm here with you." Marco says.

Dr. Natasha enters in. "Ek I know you're scared but trust me nothing wrong will happen to you I promise. I'm just right outside okay?" Marco says. Elliot again pulls him closer. "No.. don't leave me.. please don't leave me." he cries. "It's okay sir, you can stay." Natasha says. "Just trust me okay?" she tells to Elliot as she starts examine his scars. "It's okay, it's okay." Marco rubs his hands seeing him panicking. "OMG!" Natasha gasps seeing the scar on his back. Marco clenches his jaw to control his anger. "I won't hurt you I promise, please let me just.." Dr. Natasha says as she tries to examine his intimate areas. Elliot lies down holding Marco's hands tightly.

An hour later :

"Yes ma, everything is fine now. Doctor gave him the medicines and he is asleep now." Marco talks on the call. "Tell me when you're leaving okay? And do care of him he needs you." Maya says. "I know ma, will talk to you later." Marco hangs up the call. He enters the room and sits on the chair near the bedside. "You'll be fine El don't worry." he whispers. Elliot has a bandage on his forehead, arms and on his back. "I'll kill him I promise! He is not allowed to stay alive. I'll make him pay for what he did to you!" Marco says seeing the bite marks and scratches. "Sir, can we talk please?" Dr. Natasha asks. Marco nods and silently leaves the room.

"What is it doctor?" he asks. Natasha sighs. "Well to be honest, he is not okay. I mean to say, Elliot went through a lot, and he's still traumatized." she replies. "Is there something on the report?" Marco asks. "Uh.. his medical report is not so good but nothing to worry about." Natasha replies handoveing the report. Marco reads the report and sighs. "You really need to care of him as in these cases victims become more vulnerable. You have to make sure he doesn't take any wrong step if you know what I mean." Natasha says.

"PTSD is very common here, he may get panic attacks frequently but don't leave him alone. Stay with him 24/7 if possible as you're the only one he trust the most." she continues. "I'll doctor. My Elliot is so strong, he will be fine soon I believe." Marco looks at Elliot through the glass. "Indeed he is but still it won't be easy for you neither for him. Rape is something that destroys a person completely. He will be alright soon I know but he won't be the same person as he was." Natasha says. "I know doctor and I promise I'll take care of him." Marco promises. Natasha smiles. "And if possible, consult a psychiatrist as we have no idea what's going on his mind. Mental health is equally important." she advices. "Sure doctor. Thank you." Marco shakes hands with her.
