Chapter 54 - Care

"As we told you that the President's elder son Frederick is missing. So this morning his dead body was found in the forest! Police say that he was attacked by some animal due to which he died in such a gruesome manner. Both his hands were found separated from his body and his entire body was filled with blood! The President is not ready to give any statement yet. If he says something, we will definitely let you know."

Elliot switches off the tv. Somehow he feels that something worse is gonna happen as this is a serious matter and the cops won't stop especially Felix. But he knows his husband, he will either die or kill someone to save him from others. While these thoughts are circulating on his mind Atharv comes to him. "Hey are you okay?" he asks. "Yes I'm fine." Elliot replies with a smile. Atharv nods. He looks kinda serious this time and Elliot notices it. "What's going on bud? You seem so serious." he asks. 'Uh.. uhm.. yeah I mean I'm fine just.." Atharv stops. "You can tell me." Elliot holds his hand. Atharv takes a deep breath. "Actually, there has been some problem in the office and I have no idea how to solve it." he says.

"Oh, what happened?" Elliot asks. "There is a client from Spain, he wants to deal with us but he wants to talk to the CEO first because he don't talk to normal people." Atharv explains. "He has so much attitude isn't?" Elliot says. "Yeah, I told him that it's not possible now but he is not listening at all. And now the problem is if we let go of this deal then we have to face the ten million loss!" Atharv says. "This is ridiculous! Alright call him today at the office I will talk to him." Elliot orders. "But your husband will kill me if I take you to the office." Atharv says. Elliot laughs. "Don't worry about him I'll handle. Just do what I said." he says. Atharv nods and walks away.

At the office :

After freaking one year Elliot finally comes to the office. He is wearing a formal sky shirt and jeans. Atharv and Sebastian are with him as well. The stuff welcomes him wholeheartedly. "Why are you looking at him like this?" one of the members asks. "If the boss is so beautiful then why be ashamed of looking at him?" the other person replies. "Hey, keep your eyes down, if Marco sir finds out then your eyes will fall out!" the guy warns. As soon as Elliot passes from their side both of them looks down immediately.

Elliot enters in his cabin with Atharv. The Spanish client is already inside there waiting for them. "¡Que belleza (what a beauty!)" Diego puts his hand forward. "Please have a seat sir." Elliot refuses handshake with him and sits on his chair. Diego sighs and sits down. "So what's the matter? You said you want to meet the CEO before cracking the deal because you don't talk to normal people!" Elliot asks. Diego clears his throat. "It's not that. Actually I deal with the CEOs not with some random stuff members." he says in his typical Spanish accent.

"Atharv is not a random stuff member Mr. Diego, he is my assistant and more than that he is my brother. So before calling him a stranger you should know whom you are talking to." Elliot says back. Atharv smiles as he feels so proud right now. "Didn't you do research before coming here? Or is it something else?" Elliot asks. "I'm sorry I made a mistake I apologise for it." Diego looks at Atharv. "Now please come to the point, what do you want?" Elliot asks. "Deal, I want to deal with your company that's it." Diego replies. "So this work could have been done over video call also, right?" Elliot asks. "Yeah yeah..." Diego tries to say but Elliot stops him. "Why are you not saying directly that you wanted to see me from the front? Why don't you accept that like others, you too have come to quench your lust here?" Elliot yells. Diego stays silent.

"I know what people think about me. The deal was just an bad excuse, in reality you just came here to fulfill your lust. Am I right?" Elliot looks at him. "No no you're mistaken, I'm just here for the deal." Diego says. "Sun bhosdike, I don't want to make any deal with you. So stick your deal in your ass and get lost." Elliot orders. "But.." Diego panics. "¡Vete a la mierda (Fuck off)" Elliot yells. Sebastian comes and takes Diego out of the office. "Holy shit that was brutal!" Atharv laughs. "Can I get a coffee please? I having a headache right now." Elliot says. "Sure boss." Atharv bows down his head to show his respect towards him and leaves.

An hour later:

Everyone is gossiping about the incident that happened before. Suddenly they shouts their mouths seeing Marco coming towards them. "Have you all started getting paid for gossiping?" he asks. No one dares to raise their voice against him as they knows the result. Marco looks at them and walks towards the cabin.

He enters the cabin and finds Elliot has fall asleep sitting on his chair. Atharv is sitting on the couch busy on his phone. Marco stands near Elliot and smiles seeing his sleeping beauty. "Hey love." he touches his forehead. He immediately removes his hand. "Oh no you have high fever!" he panics. "Atharv call the doctor immediately." Marco shouts but Atharv doesn't response. "Atharv I'm talking to you!" Marco shakes him. "Uh I'm sorry bro, I'm calling the doctor right now." Atharv says. Marco picks up Elliot in his arms in bridal style and leaves the office.

At the mansion:

Doctor Kate has come to check Elliot. She puts an injection on his left arm. "How's he?" Marco asks. "He is fine now. Actually it happens because of stress. I guess something is bothering him that's why he fell sick." Kate replies. Marco sits next to Elliot and holds his hand. "Keep giving him medicine on time and take care of him." Kate advises. Marco nods. Kate smiles towards the babies and leaves. "Today I'll put the kids to sleep in my room, you take care of El." Lisa says. She takes the babies and leaves. "Tell me if you want anything." David says. He also leaves the room with Atharv. Marco kisses Elliot's hand. "You'll be fine soon." he whispers. Elliot doesn't react. Marco climbs off the bed and stands in the balcony.

At midnight:

"Marco are you there? Babe please answer me are you there? Lisa? Atharv? David where are you guys? Siya and Elle where are they and why everything is so dark here? I can feel someone is there is that you Marco? Wait no who are you? Marco please come back to me, this person is taking me away Marco!! Help me please where are you???? No let me go.. somebody help me please Marco!!!!!"  Elliot screams.

"El, wake up I'm here! Open your eyes El." Marco shouts. Elliot opens his eyes immediately. He is shivering so much and looks around. "Hey I'm here look at me." Marco says. Elliot hugs him tightly and starts crying. "Please don't leave me please I will die without you." he cries out. "Baby I'll never leave you, I'm here see. It was a bad dream okay?" Marco comforts him. He wipes his tears and turns on the lights. "I.. I sa.. I saw everyone left me! I was alone.. I can't breath please." Elliot gets a panic attack.

Marco immediately gives him a glass of water. Elliot drinks it but still he is sweating so much. "Breath with me okay? Follow my breath you can do it." Marco does the breath exercise learnt from his mother. Elliot does whatever he says and finally calms down. "Feeling better?" Marco asks. Elliot nods. He rest his head on Marco's chest and closes his eyes. "Do you wanna talk about it? I mean, what is bothering you so much?" Marco asks. "I don't know... but I'm scared." Elliot replies. "Don't be scared I'm with you. Go to sleep now." Marco says. Elliot lies down on the bed and completely hides himself in the blanket. Marco turns off the lights and lies down. "Relax El, everything is fine." he rubs his forehead. He pulls Elliot closer to his chest and slowly slowly moves his hands on his head.

"Promise me that if anything happens to me, you'll take care of yourself and our girls?" Elliot blurts out. "Shut up don't say like that. I won't let anything happen to you I swear. Now please stop overthinking and sleep." Marco scolds. Elliot totally wraps himself in his arms and closes his eyes. He falls asleep in a minute but Marco is still awake. He takes out his phone and texts everything to his mother.
"Don't worry beta, I'm coming back home tomorrow. " Maya texts back. Marco puts his phone away and closes his eyes.
