Chapter 94 - Acceptance

Next day, at school:

Everyone is busy in their classes except for Siya. She is sitting alone in the library, pretending to read a book but her mind is somewhere else. "This is so stupid! I'm so stupid!" she mutters. Something is fishy with her but she's not ready to accept it. She's just about to get up, irritated with herself, when her favourite person appears in front of her. "Oh my fucking God! I was not prepared for this." she mumbles.

"Hey, I was looking for you." the person says. Siya blinks for a few seconds. "You were looking for me? Seriously?" she gulps. "Yes, actually I need your help babe.." her dearest one holds her hands. Siya freezes. "BABE? why God why, why are you doing this to me?" she whispers. "Seriously you want my help, Rebecca?" she asks. Rebecca rolls her eyes. "Is there anyone else here? Ofcourse I need your help Siya darling! Now come with me please!" she takes her hand and walks out of the library. And Siya.. her brain just starts malfunctioning again.

There's no doubt that Rebecca is the most beautiful girl in her class, as per Siya actually. She has green eyes, short hair and a charming smile on her face. Rebecca is everyone's crush in the class but for Siya, she's more than that. God knows how many proposals she gets everyday from boys, but she rejects all of them. Siya glows more when she's around her.

"Okay, listen to me carefully." they stops near the lab. "Well, tomorrow is my pratical exam and I want you to help me with that, and no is not an option for as of now! So, just do what I say." Rebecca says. Siya nods quickly. They enters the lab and wears the apron. "I'm going to put this liquid in this jar and you have to observe, how long it takes to change the colour okay?" Rebecca looks at her. "Sure, but please be careful." Siya says looking at her. Rebecca shakes her head and starts putting the chemical. Siya steps back and turns on the stopwatch.

Suddenly she notice something strange in the tube and immediately pulls her back. The tube falls on the floor and spreads. "What was that?" Rebecca asks. "It's not a normal experimental chemical, it's acid!" Siya reveals. "What the fuck! I checked it earlier and there was no acid!" Rebecca says. "I think someone changed it, by mistake or intentionally." Siya says.

They comes out of the lab and washes their hands and faces. "Thank you for saving my life." Rebecca hugs her. "My pleasure.." Siya holds her tightly. "There's something I want to tell you." Rebecca breaks the hug. Siya looks at her nervously. "You're genuinely very sweet, and I really like you!" Rebecca says smiling at her. Siya blushes so hard, her cheeks turns red and heart starts beating so fast. "You like me?" Siya's voice shakes as she talks. "Yes, and I do care about you okay? So, don't need to hesitate before talking to me." Rebecca smiles widely. She turns around and starts walking away.

"I would like to invite you for Ganesh Chaturthi celebration at my home." Siya shouts. Rebecca turns back to her. "And I would like to come, see ya.." she smiles and walks away. "No way this is real! I have to tell my mom!" Siya mumbles.

At the Mansion:

All the kids comes back from their school at evening. "Where's mom? I need to talk to her!" Siya asks. "You're grown up now, so stop calling him 'Mom' . It confuses me." Riya replies. "Never, now tell me please." Siya requests. "He's in his room obviously." Riya replies. "Is everything okay?" she asks. "Yes." Siya runs upstairs.

In the bedroom :

Siya knocks the door and enters in. She sees Elliot is playing with Arjun and her dad is in the bathroom right now. "Mum, can we talk?" she asks. "Sure, are you okay?" Elliot makes her sit next to him. Arjun is already sitting on the bed, busy playing with his toys.

"I'm fine, but I don't know.. I think I'm.." Siya hesitates. "It's okay take your time." Elliot rubs her back. "Mum.. what if I say, I don't like boys? I mean, I'm not attracted to them.." Siya reveals finally. "First take a deep breath and tell me what made you think like this?" Elliot looks at her. Siya takes a deep breath. "Actually there's a girl in my class, Rebecca. I don't know why but I think I'm so into her! I'm sorry but I can't help. And you know what? Today she told that she likes me too! Ugh.. I'm going crazy I'm sorry.." she replies.

Elliot kisses her forehead. "It's okay honey, there's nothing wrong in it. You're so brave my girl." he appreciates her. "Really? You're not mad at me or think I'm mad?" Siya asks. "Why would I? Don't you know about me? I'm an intersex gay person. No one knows this feeling better me, honey." Elliot replies. Siya hugs him tightly. "Thank you mumma.." she says. Elliot kisses her forehead again. "All I need to say is, being gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans or anything is not a crime!! It's your identity and no one has the right to judge you for that!" he says. Siya nods.

"There might be some homophobic people, who will try to defame you or hurt your feelings. But you have to fight for yourself. We are always with you but it's your life, your identity and you have to decide what to do and how to stay happy in this world. You got me?" Elliot rubs her back. "Yes mum.. and I love you." Siya says. "I love you too.." Elliot smiles. "Now go and get fresh, I made your favourite pizza today." he says. Siya nods and then leaves the room.

(A few minutes later ) :

"What are you serious? She came out to you?" Marco asks. "Yes..." Elliot replies. Marco takes off his glass and sits next to him. "This is amazing I'm so proud of her." he says. "She's so brave, babe. I just hope she finds her true love and lives happily forever." Elliot sighs. Marco nods.

"Well as of now, Roger is in love with that girl, Siya came out as lesbian, Charlotte is focusing on her studies, and I'm not sure about Eleanor." Elliot says. "Why?" Marco asks. "She's so unpredictable person like you! Boys are afraid to even approach her - she's that kind of girl! God knows what will happen to her." Elliot replies. Marco laughs. "And he? Does he have any girlfriend or boyfriend?" he looks at Arjun. "He's a heartthrob, aren't you?" Elliot kisses his cheeks.

Marco lies down and pulls Elliot towards him. "He's mine and you stay away from him, okay chirkut?" he teases. "No, my mumma.." Arjun grabs Elliot's right left arm. "No mine!" Marco says. "Mine.." Arjun starts crying. "Okay shut up! I have lot's of work to do so, let me go now." Elliot stands up and walks out of the room. "Oye chirkut idhar aa." Marco starts tickling Arjun and he laughs loudly.

In Siya's bedroom:

After revealing everything to her siblings and cousins, they are now having pizza party in the room. "I'm so happy for you cutie.." Eleanor says. "Leave her and tell us about your lovelife didi. Do you love someone secretly?" Ayushi asks. "Yes yes tell us.." Christine also asks. Eleanor rolls her eyes and stands next to the window. "I have no time for that sweeties. Right now I just want to be my dad, bold and fearless. So, I'm staying out of this love thing and all." she replies. "Sidhe bolo na single ho.." Christine teases. "Ruk teri.." Eleanor runs after him. "So your loves ones are coming next week right? Yayy it will be so fun." Charlotte says. Both Roger and Siya blushes so hard.

"I can't wait to see her.." they say at the same time and laugh. They hug each other in a group and continue their pizza party.
