Chapter 44 - Welcome munchkins

Finally the most awaited day is here and everyone is ready to go to the hospital. Elliot is kinda nervous but still he is so excited. Lisa is helping him to get ready, and on the other side Marco, Atharv and David are managing the security. "Elliot, are you ready? We are getting late." Maya walks in. "Yes mom I'm ready." Elliot replies. He wears a simple grey coloured gown. "Don't take stress okay, everything will be fine." Maya rubs his head. "Please don't raise your BP otherwise it will take time for the delivery." Lisa suggests. Elliot takes a deep breath. "Can I have a moment with him please?" Marco asks from the outside. "Sure." Lisa and Maya leaves the room.

Marco approaches him and hugs him tightly. "I'll miss my submarine so much." he teases. Elliot pinches him on his waist. "Ouch! I was just making you laugh, baby." Marco says. "Oh really? Get lost!" Elliot rolls his eyes. Marco laughs and takes out his phone. "A last selfie with the bump." he clicks the selfie. They clicks few more pictures. "Can we go now? We are getting late!" Elliot says. Marco kisses him and kneels before him. "Are you guys excited? We can finally hold you in our arms from now." he says. The baby kicks. "Come on babe let's go." Elliot shouts. Marco stands up and they leave the room.

"Who takes so much time to talk? Let's hurry up now." Maya scolds. "Sorry ma." Marco says. He takes the bag and holds Elliot's hand. Everyone enters their car. Marco and Atharv are at the front seat and Elliot, Maya and Lisa are at the back. David is on his bike. Not only that, there are more than ten security cars with them. "The entire route has been cleared sir, we can go now." Sebastian informs. "Perfect let's go." Marco starts the car. "We are going to the hospital, not to murder anyone." Elliot teases. Atharv laughs out loudly. "Baby you are Mafia King's hubby okay? So it should be normal for you." Marco smirks. "Still, why so many people? I mean What will happen if the doctors do not give permission?" Elliot asks. "I'll bought the hospital then, so chill out." Marco replies. Lisa spills out the water and coughs. "You're insane man!" she says. Atharv laughs again. "Okay enough. Focus on your driving now!" Maya says. "If such a hot patakha is sitting behind me then how can I focus on something else?" Marco winks looking at Elliot via front mirror. "What is patakha?" Elliot asks. "Have you forgotten that we are also here." Maya asks. "Ma let me flirt please. after the birth, he will not let me near him." Marco replies. Elliot feels shy and closes his eyes. "Kaash main behra hota. (I wish I was a deaf.)" Atharv whispers.

At the Hospital:

They finally reaches the hospital after an hour. Maya and Lisa takes Elliot towards his cabin. "Let me call the doctor." Marco walks towards the reception. David and Atharv stays with others. Sebastian with other guards takes their position and notices everyone. Elliot wears the hospital cloth and lies down on the bed. The nurse comes and checks his blood pressure. "How much time will the operation take?" Elliot asks. "Not more than an hour." the nurse replies. She takes some notes and leaves. Elliot stays calm and takes deep breaths. A few minutes later a nurse comes and gives him an injection. "The OT is ready let's go." the nurse says. Maya and Lisa hugs him and comforts him. "Everything will be alright don't worry." Lisa says. Marco enters in and wraps him in his arms. Elliot also hugs him tightly. "I love you baby, you can do this." he says. Elliot smiles. The nurses takes him inside the OT and closes the door behind.

"Oh fuck man, my heart is beating so fast right now." Marco says. "Ab tu behos maat ho jaana. (please don't faint now.)" Maya says back. Atharv gives him water and makes him sit on the chair. Lisa is biting her nails while shaking her legs. Maya closes her eyes and prays to the God. "Will he be in a lot of pain? Oh God I can't even imagine." Marco mumbles. "Yes it will be painful but you should have thought this before having sex!" Atharv says. "Oh shut up idiot." Marco stands up. He tries to peak inside but nothing is visible. "Can you please sit down for a moment?" Maya scolds. "I can't ma." Marco replies and keeps roaming around. "Sir we got a news about Daniel." Sebastian says. "Fuck him. I'm not interested right now." Marco says back. Sebastian nods and walks away. All of them are very tensed right now. Their eyes are stuck at the door. "I'll definitely wear condom from now." Marco whispers. "Oh shut up!" Maya scolds him. Lisa and David hold their laugh but Atharv fails. He laughs out loud. Marco slaps his shoulder to shut him up.

Half and hour later:

The door opens and one of the nurses comes out. "The operation is successful. You guys can meet them after some time." she says. "How's Elliot? Is he okay?" Marco asks. "Yes he is and the babies also, they are very healthy." the nurse replies. Marco falls on his knees and cries out. "Congratulations you're a dad now." Maya hugs him. "Oh my God, I.. I.. I don't know how to feel right now." Marco starts sobbing. "Congratulations." Atharv jumps on him and pats his shoulder. "देवाचे खूप खूप आभार. (Thank you so much God.)" Maya also gets emotional. "I'm an aunt now I can't believe it." Lisa also cries out. "Congratulations sir." Sebastian says. "Thanks mate." Marco stands up and wipes his tears. Everyone hugs each other and celebrates the moment.

Two hours later:

Marco enters the cabin and his tears falls down. He goes near the bed and kisses his forehead. "Hey baby." he whispers. Elliot opens his eyes and smiles. "Are you okay?" he asks. "Yes I am." Marco replies. "Did you see them? They are so pretty." Elliot says. Marco goes near his daughters and smiles. "They are so tiny. Can I hold them?" he asks. "Sure sir." the nurse takes one of the baby and gives her to him. "Hey gorgeous, it's your dad here." Marco says holding her. The baby is sleeping but still she moves her head as a response. "Look at her fingers, they are so small." Marco kisses her fingers. He then puts her in the crib and picks the other one. "You have no idea how much we waited for you both." he says. He kisses her palm and puts her in the crib. "Thank you for always being there for me." Elliot gets emotional. Marco hugs him and kisses his hand. "I love you so much darling." he says.

Maya enters next. She immediately hugs Elliot and kisses his forehead. "You're amazing Elliot." she says. Elliot wipes his tears and smiles. Maya looks at the babies and holds their little fingers. "Can I enter?" Lisa peaks inside. "Sure." Marco says. She immediately enters in and cries out. "Oh my God, you did it El. Just look at them." she says. "Congratulations aunt Lisa." Elliot teases. Lisa looks at the twins and touches their hands. "Welcome to the world cuties." she says. Atharv enters in. "Oyeee kitne pyare hai yeh dono. (How pretty they are.)" he says. "I'm not entering in but congratulations Elliot. Have a good sleep from now." David says from the outside. "Thanks dear." Elliot laughs.

At night:

Everyone leaves the hospital except Marco. He stays with them. The babies are awake now and looks everywhere. "Elliot, we are here to take care of them. You can sleep." the nurse says. "Yes El, you need to take some rest. We can manage." Marco says. "Fine. Don't wake me up if they cries." Elliot lies down. Marco presses his head to make him feel better. "I have a question! Can you breastfeed?" he asks. "Unfortunately no." Elliot replies. "In this case, you can feed them the fresh cow's milk." the nurse says. Marco nods. Elliot slowly slowly falls asleep.

Marco is laying on the couch nearby and Elliot is in deep sleep. Suddenly one of the baby starts crying. Marco stands up immediately and holds her in his arms. He slowly slowly pats her back and roams around the cabin. A few minutes later the other girl starts crying. "I know you guys are twins but it doesn't mean you have to cry at the same time." Marco says. He also holds the other one in his arms and starts comforts them. The nurse comes in with the bottles and takes one of the baby. "They are hungry that's why." she says. She gives one bottle to him. Marco takes the bottle and starts feeding her. The nurse feeds the other one. The sounds of their sucking the milk melts Marco's heart. The twins falls asleep again and they puts them in the crib. Marco looks at Elliot and smiles. "The night begins now." he says. Elliot is still sleeping. Marco lies down on the sofa again. The nurse sits on a chair nearby. After some time Marco also falls asleep on the couch.
