Gojo lets out a sigh, rolling over to turn off the alarm clock. It's so early, not even the sun has awakened yet. He turns back around, facing me. He knows that I have been awake for about an hour or so, eager for the semester to begin. I made a promise to myself last night that I will spend 50 percent of my time improving my technique and strength, the other 50 discovering more of my origin.

"Ready for the new semester?" I ask him. He rolls his eyes, and makes a sour expression. I know that he is ready to be done with school. He is excited to explore the real world with no restraints, no guidance, just his raw talent. He pulls me into his warm chest, shaking his head no.

"Just five more minutes." He tells me, closing his ocean blue eyes. I must admit, it is a bittersweet day. Our last first day back, only this time we are missing a key member of our group. I think Gojo and Shoko realize things wont be the same, but they refuse to talk too much about Suguru. I close my eyes with Gojo, but I know that I wont be able to fall asleep again. So instead I decide to count the seconds until its time to wake him up.

When his eyes finally do open, his first action of the day was to stretch for five whole minutes... claiming he slept on his back wrong. "Mhmm" I tease him, knowing that he's just delaying starting his day. We have spent every day together for the past two weeks, mostly training, but ending our nights the same way: asleep in my bed. Gojo practically lives here, starting and ending his days here. He cleared out one of my wardrobe drawers to put his own belongings in (without my approval). My toothbrush now has a friend, and his expensive shampoo bottles line the shower floor.

"I ironed your uniform last night." I tell Gojo, slipping out of bed and wandering over to the closet. I pull his uniform out and lay it on the bed, and proceed to pull mine out next. He smiles, and pats my head. "Dibs on the shower first!" He says, jumping up from the bed and sprinting to the bathroom. I roll my eyes at him, but I know that its good that he is finally out of bed. Eventually, I get bored of waiting for him to get out of the bathroom, he tends to take his time getting ready.

"Are you excited for missions to start again?" I call out to him. "A little... I'm mostly excited for my paychecks to roll in again." He tells me, finally opening the door. I look him up and down, his hair now styled, and he is dressed in his uniform. I pull him out and grab my uniform. "Finally. My turn!" I pull him out and slide the door closed. "Don't take too long." He tells me from the other side, knowing that I don't take nearly as long as him.

I wonder if Shoko is awake yet? Are Nanami and Ijichi gonna resume missions again? Maybe its good for them to get back out there, now that they're finally feeling better about what happened to Haibara... I wonder what Suguru is up to... probably happy that he doesn't have to be up this early.

I turn the shower handle, letting the water stop. I step out onto the tile floor, a puddle still formed from Gojo's shower. Quickly, I finish getting ready. I plait my hair into a braid, knowing my hair will dry by the time we arrive. I slide back open the door, and begin putting on my shoes.

"You ready?" Gojo asks, standing from his usual spot at the table. I nod my head, and reach out for his hand. He meets my hand with his and steps in front of me, holding the front door open. "And we are on our way!" He says, swinging my hand and leading us to the school cafeteria. That's another thing I have noticed about Gojo, his love for food and sweets. I sit at the table, not hungry enough for a full meal. Gojo wanders off to the line, or lack of, and comes back with three bowls of a sweet cereal. Two for him, one for me. " You really oughta eat, you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" He says, sliding the bowl towards me. I smile, picking up the spoon and taking a few bites. I'm not hungry, but I know that it would bring him sense of ease even... if it is only a few bites.
