The ambiance in this room is grave, and the rain thumping onto the metal roof of this building is only adding to the disheartening mood. It's well past midnight, and working sorcerers are still flooding in through the door.

After presenting the letter to Yaga, the Higher-Ups summoned all working and available sorcerers for a meeting. Despite the late times, the principals didn't want to risk being caught off guard before the rest of the faculty was alerted.

Megumi set up camp with Kai, and I would assume that they're both sound asleep by now. Shoko, Satoru, and I sit together, snuggling into each other due to the older building not having an up to date heating system. Shoko's eyes are bloodshot, and I can feel Satoru's anxiety beaming off of him, despite his stern look.

Rukia entered the room short after us, rolling her eyes at the sight and sitting by herself behind us. The night started off with only us in this room, but now it's almost bursting from the seams from the amount of cursed energy in here. A lot of familiar faces, and some unknown, each whispering amongst themselves.

"Now, now, quiet down everyone!"

The grumpy Kyoto principal says, as he enters the busy room, obviously annoyed to be awake at this time. Yaga stumbles in after him, frantic from the commotion and lack of time to organize. As the Kyoto principal,Gakuganji, wobbles to the front of the work room, the room quiets down. We are eager to hear what the game plan is, some of the faculty still unaware of the war waiting to begin.

"Jujutsu High is under attack by a rogue sorcerer, Suguru Geto."

I place my forehead in my palm as the principals ramble on about Suguru. I fight the headache creeping up on me, and I can hear Shoko's soft snores on the other side of me. Gakuganji gives the sorcerers a rundown on Suguru's situation. I refuse to close my eyes, I don't want to miss anything, but hell... I lived it, there's not much that I can miss.

I try to tune into the other sorcerer's whispers, I want to pick their minds. It's mostly just murmuring about being tired, some joking about being paid overtime for their travels.

"On December 24th, approximately two weeks from now, all 2nd grade sorcerers and higher will be stationed at the Shinjuku station. We will do our best at evacuating the area, but we need all eyes on the exits and entrances in case some happen to slip through."

I nod, taking mental notes of everything to recite back to Shoko when she wakes up.

"It seems that Suguru has his eyes set on a second year here at Tokyo Jujutsu High. (Y/n),"

I perk my head up, curious on why they're singling me out. Well, I guess I am the second year teacher.

"You will be on 24/7 monitoring of Yuta Okkotsu. He needs to stay under surveillance, especially after Suguru showed up on campus."

I nod, relieved that they're approaching this with Yuta's safety in mind. I feel Satoru shuffle next to me, and then his hand shoots up.

"I would also like to help her with that. It would make the most sense, since we still have Kai to worry about as well." He tells the principals. I nod to him, agreeing with what he's saying. Yaga nods, and I can feel Rukia's glare burning into the back of my head.

"Satoru, you have an extra room that Yuta can stay in. At least until we can find Suguru." Yaga tells him.

"I need at least ten sorcerers to form a watch team, with that we can assure no weak spots in the school's surveillance... Other than that, you should all get some rest."

The classroom fills with scuffles, most of the sorcerers eager to get some sleep. I hear Rukia rise, and then stomp out of the door. Instead of mocking her, I just snuggle my head deeper into Satoru's side. He is clearly shaken by everything that's occurring with his old best friend, and tired from the long day. "We have to wake her up." I tell him, referring to a sleeping Shoko. Satoru gives me a soft grin, and places his arm around me. "That's your job. If I do it, I'll get my throat ripped out." He jokes.
