"Please don't be dead." Aya whispers while slapping the unconscious boy's face. "Please wake up... Please!" She screams, pulling together all her might to deliver a blow to the black haired stranger's chest.
"Please! I know that you can see them! You summoned that thing, and... and-" She stutters, before breaking down into tears.
Aya began to accept her fate, giving up on waking the stranger.

A fun Halloween night with her friends turned into a nightmare in mere seconds. Hundreds of people, including her friends, turned into monsters right in front of her eyes. She dodged a bullet by exiting the train station before Hell broke loose. That's when she noticed the veil encapsulating the surrounding area.
Aya trusted her gut and made a run for it. She managed to break into a locked warehouse to hide, but the monsters roaming the street were nearing closer to her. She had no other choice but to try and run to safety.
Along the way, she encountered the black haired boy bickering with a skinny, short, man.
'Sorcerers' Aya thought to herself, hiding in the rubble of a destroyed building.
She watched from a distance, that was until she witnessed the uniformed teen thrown into a wall by some unknown entity. The other sorcerer used that as a chance to escape, making a run for it while the monster went a different direction.

Aya pulled herself from the rubble, creeping over to the teenager as tears streamed down her face.
Aya ripped a piece of her stockings off, wrapping it around the wound on the boy's head.
"Please, you have to wake up." She continued begging, her voice somewhere between a whisper and a sob.
Having no connection to this unknown person, she couldn't help but throw herself into his arms in search of comfort. As Aya placed her head into his chest, she could hear the faint heartbeat coming from within.
"Who are you?" Mumbled a groggy male voice.
Aya looked up from his chest, meeting his dark eyes with her own. "I'm Aya... Can you please tell me what's happening?" The girl pleads, still unaware of her surroundings.
"We need to find my family." The boy says, before standing up from the ground.
