"Mommy?"

I hear the voice of my son, and quickly stand up from the ground. Megumi is standing at the door while his sister cowers behind him. I wipe my tears and smile, and I hold out my arms. Shit. They heard all of that. "Mom and Dad are just talking, don't be scared." I say, forcing a smile at them. "Don't you dare lie to my kids. Tell them the truth." Gojo says, his voice and face have now gone cold. I look at him with wide eyes, and a face that is telling him no. "Fine then." He says, and kneels to the ground.

"Your mother is leaving us." He says, trying to put on a voice of sympathy. Both of the kids burst out into tears and run over to me, tackling my legs with tight grasps. After feeling their embrace, I burst back into tears and squeeze them as tight as I can. "What do you mean?!" Tsumiki cries out. "Are you going to come back?!" Megumi follows her with, squeezing me even tighter. "Of course I'm coming back." I say, cupping his face with one hand, and holding Tsumiki with the other. "When?" He asks, sniffling his nose. "One day you will become a student here, Megumi. And I promise that as soon as you do, I will come back to be your teacher." I say, kissing his head gently. "And you, Tsumiki. I'll come back for both of you. I will always be your mother, till the day that I die." I say, and then force them into a tight hug. "Megumi. Tsumiki." Gojo says, signaling the children to go back to their room. They stay in my embrace, crying into my chest. That is until Gojo picks them up, and carries them back to bed.

"If you're going to leave, just do it." He says, as he shuts the children's bedroom door. I pick up my bags, and allow for the tears to silently run down my face. I can hear the children sobbing from behind their door. Gojo follows me out the door, not saying a single word. I don't even know where I'm going, so I begin to just walk. As I arrive at the stairway in front of the school, I turn.

"I promise, one day this will make sense. One day I will be back, and I'll tell you everything... and if you still love me after today, then maybe you will give this back." I say as I slip my engagement ring off of my ring finger and place it into his hand. He stays silent, but his eyes are bloodshot. "Just..." I begin.

"Don't trust anybody... not even the people closest to you." I say, and kiss his cheek one last time. He stays still, only watching me. I turn back around and down the stairs. As I pass the field, I see a familiar face. "(Y/n)?" The man yells, confused why I'm out right now, and why my hands are full of bags. "Stay safe, Ken." I yell out to Nanami, who is sitting at his usual picnic table. I continue walking, all the way to the train station. It's riddled by curses, but as of today I am no longer a Jujutsu Sorcerer, so they're not my responsibility.

"We would prefer you to be out by the morning." The third higher- up says. I stand still, and I can feel the blood rush throughout my entire body. "You wish." I say, as I bolt out the door and towards the school building.

"SATORU!" I scream through the hallways, praying that Gojo can hear me from his classroom. "SATORU!" I yell again as I run through the hallways. "(Y/N)! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I hear the voice of my fiance, just around the corner. I run in that direction, and smack into his built chest.

"(Y/n)! What's wrong?" He asks as he helps me back onto my feet. "The higher- ups!" I yell, pulling myself into him. "They're trying to banish me from the Jujutsu Society! We have to go get the kids!" I frantically explain, as I pull him arm towards the exit.

We begin running in the direction of their school. Making a ten minute walk turn into a five minute sprint. We book it up the stairs and into the building, navigating to their classroom. "MEGUMI!" I yell as I bust open the door. "TSUMIKI!" Gojo follows with, not too far behind me.
