i'd kinda like it if you'd call me, 'cause i'm so over being lonely.

Gray clouds paint the sky above us, not allowing a peep of sunshine to hit our skin.

"Are taking walks really this important?" Maki asks, as my students follow behind me. We have implemented taking almost- daily walks into our classroom schedule. I recently read an article explaining the importance of nature in the classroom, and though Jujutsu High isn't a normal school, my students are still just teenagers.

"You'll see the impact of our walks as you get older. One day you'll thank me." I tell the girl, turning around to give her a wink. These walks aren't only benefiting them, but are quite relaxing for myself as well. "When I was a student here, I learned every pathway, every room, every tree, every garden. I discovered the ins and outs of this school, and I found comfort in it." I explain to them.

We are strolling down a cobblestone bridge that has been here since the school was built, or at least that's what Yaga told me. I assume they don't renovate campus often, because this school hasn't changed a bit since my departure. "I actually really enjoy these walks." Yuta says, basking in the gloominess that the rain clouds are adding to the scenery.

"Same."

"Salmon."

I close my eyes, listening to the birds chirping in the distance. I find tranquility in the fresh air, that is until I am overcome by intense pressure. "Hey, what's that?" Maki says. I open my eyes to find Maki pointing in the direction of the clouds. "Huh?" I say and look up.

In the distance, there's a bird-like curse, looking like it's about to land right in front of us. I fall backwards towards my students, limiting any distance that I could have from them. Maki and Yuta stand shoulder to shoulder with me, while Toge and Panda hide behind me. "Don't move. I don't know what that is." I tell my students, who are tensed up.

The bird makes its landing in front of us, that's when I am consumed by a familiar cursed energy that I haven't experienced in years. I stay silent, analyzing the situation, placing my finger on who that cursed energy could belong to.
