The snow continues to stick to the ground, and against my will, the boys have dragged me out to the field. If they're forcing me to sit out here, then I'm forcing Shoko to as well! Our noses are a crimson shade of red, and Shoko and I have snuggled into each other to fight off the winter breeze.

We watch the boys on the field, training in their own individual ways. Satoru works with Kai on his hand to hand skills, while Megumi is off somewhere with his shikigami. "Put any thought into covering his eyes?" Shoko asks me, referring to his rare technique.

"Not yet. I don't think he's old enough to navigate the world only off of cursed energy. I think I'll wait for Satoru to make that call." I answer.

"And any signs of Limitless?"

I shake my head. I'm concerned that his techniques aren't developing properly, I mean he's nine years old. Most students awaken their technique around six or seven years old, making Kai a late bloomer. "No, but should I be concerned about it?" I ask her in a hushed tone. She's a doctor after all, she would be the one to know.

"I wouldn't stress about it. I mean, you were about to graduate when you awakened your technique. Everybody is different." She reassures me, but something just seems off about it. "I guess you're right. It's just that," I hesitate before finishing the sentence, I feel ashamed for even thinking this way.

"He's a Gojo. They're supposed to be ahead of everybody, not falling behind. I mean, I already feel like I've done enough wrong while raising him. I didn't mean for him to inherit my shitty genes too." I tell her, looking down. I twiddle my fingers in guilt, and then glance back at the boys on the field.

They're playing around, laughing together. Megumi has wandered back into sight, and the dogs are chasing Kai and Satoru. "Don't beat yourself up, (Y/n). Even Gojo's aren't perfect." She tells me, patting me on my back.

"Now it was lovely joining you, but I think I'll freeze to death if I stay out here any longer!" She says, making me laugh.

"Understandable. We'll be inside soon." I told her. She nods, and waves goodbye to the kids as she walks back towards the building.

"I think we're next!" I shout towards the boys on the field.

"Agreed!" Satoru shouts, herding the boys and dogs towards me.

"All of them have a mission assignment?" I ask in excitement. Yaga summoned me to his office before class. He handed me a binder that's thicker than usual, full of this week's missions. "All of them. So, you may have a workday while they're out."
