Chapter 3

The android grabbed me when I tried to leave the door and pulled me back in. "I'm not ready," She said reaching for more of her cores and putting two in a bag she had. We then walked out of the room we were in, the place felt creepier than last time, also it was so quiet for some reason. "This room used to be the lab where everyone was experimenting with darkness," She said while pointing at the room. On the first floor? I asked her. "Well yeah, remember this lab wasn't like this before. This lab was used back then for studying the light cause that was your father's order" Why the light and not anything else? I asked "This one you will need to ask your father or Sashi but light apparently could turn someone evil as well if that's all they have" So if my sisters don't have... before I could finish the android cut me off. "Like your katana said you, your sisters, and friends were born with darkness and light, you all just didn't know it. Well, you do but they don't. Why no one told you all about that I have no idea why. But if you were to banish darkness from yourself and keep growing with light, you would then just snap" It breaks people? I asked "I'm afraid so but again this information you'll have to ask the others on fully, but let's go into this lab and see what we find. I'm hoping for information on darkness" she said before reaching for the door handle but then quickly stopping. 

"I'm detecting movement in this room, 12 people" I pulled out my katana and was ready to go in a fight. "You can shoot fireballs right?" she asked. Yes, I told her. "Can you do anything else? Like a fire wave or dash?" She asked. No just fireballs I told her and used my katana. "Oh boy you still have a lot to do then. Look there I'm scanning one at the far end of the room, shoot a fireball at them then just slash everything but please be careful" She said. We both entered the room and shot a fireball at one of the now soulless people at the far end of the room. I started fighting everyone with Leona but every time I killed someone they would just turn into a puddle and then fade away. I felt so bad doing this but they no longer had a soul and died anyway but still just felt wrong. Since none of them had weapons this was very easy to deal with. Once everyone was died Leona started searching everywhere. "I knew it," she said happily. She showed me a light crystal that was in a desk tray buried by a lot of paper. I took the crystal but the crystal felt so different, like there was more power inside of it than the crystals we used in the past. "I found three more," She said putting the three in her bag as well as the one I was holding. "We could try to replicate these shards somehow that way you and the others can use them. You all need to use these shards no matter what. Yes, training helps a lot but using these shards so you can get more powers like abilities will be so helpful. How do we even know if these shards will even work for us anymore? I asked her. "Here" She gives me one of the shards. "Use it and you'll see" I took the shard, held it close to me, and broke it. Then I just felt out of it, like I wasn't in my body anymore. I was in this white room but there was nothing there, then a figure appeared, it was me. The figure turned around and stuck her hand out, I watched as she held a fireball in her hand but she charged the fireball and said combust and threw out the fireball but an explosion happened. "Practice it" She stated before everything started fading away, once everything was normal I felt down but felt a little stronger. "So did you learn a new move?" Leona asked. I said yeah and went to show off the new move but fucked up and go blasted back by my fireball. Leona healed me from my burns and told me to never do that again. She helped me up and just dealt with that fuck up and we moved on. "You looked HOT while doing that," Leona said while giggling. I don't know rather to blush or feel more embarrassed.

 We walked down the hall while Leona kept scanning more rooms trying to find ones that hand anything important. "Not a goddamn thing in these rooms, like everything important was taken" Why would they leave the shards? I asked her. "If Other Leona took everything she probably didn't need them but if someone else did the taking for her they probably missed these," She said but still I didn't trust that at all. Why just leave the shards but take everything else? Before I could think anymore a loud noise happened upstairs, like someone walking. "Rachel?" Leona asked sounding scared. We both proceeded to go upstairs as the noise got closer. "I can not detect shit. Where is this damn noise coming from" Leona said panicking more. Leona, is there a room we can hide in? "...." Leona I yelled. "Ummm this one" Leona points at a room as we both run into it and hide. The noise turned into footsteps. "Hey Rachel, how about you blast a hole in this roof so we get the hell out of here" Yorisue said panicking now. "Not until we search that last room, there's a hard drive I'm detecting now in the main computer room but here. If we can get it maybe we will find out a lot of information about this base that MAYBE Sashi or Rachel's father didn't know. I doubt that though. "Oh yes please, get us all killed right now," Yorisue said sarcastically. Shut up katana i told Yorisue. "Come out already," a voice said in the hallway. "That Ophelia" Leona said even more scared. I got tired of hiding and walked out of the room to see Ophelia standing at the exit door to the roof. I guess this will be a double rescue mission I stated as Leona came out of the room but stayed behind me. "I double rescue mission?" Ophelia questioned. "Someone like you can not rescue me, hell you can't even save this world for what's about to happen. She stated. You're talking out your ass Ophelia. How does this even happen anyway? I asked her. "Doing the same mistake you did, doing a mission solo to get more information about the person who truly caused Leona to do everything she's doing. But then darkness came at me and I couldn't save myself. Somehow I was too weak and became a slave to it" Ophelia said but sad now. You have the light though I stated. "I'm still a slave though," Ophelia said before getting into a fighting stance. Please Ophelia just let us save you. "You can't save me," Ophelia said before charging at both of us. I grabbed Ophelia's fist but she quickly punched me into the wall of the room, she then grabbed the android and tried to throw her but Leona grabbed Ophelia's face and blasted her backward. I unstuck myself from the wall powered up and used the new move I learned, even though it still didn't go fully correct it still hurt Ophelia a lot. We could tell that Ophelia was getting more pissed off, even her voice was echoing now. "That energy, this does not feel like darkness" Leona stated. What do you mean? I asked. "Just seems different," She said. We both ignored it for now and kept fighting Ophelia as much as we could. I was so tired but keep pushing and trying to go past my limit but just couldn't, Ophelia was weaker now too but still able to kick our ass. Ophelia knocked Leona to the ground next to me and tried to kill us both with an energy blast but nothing came out. She was so low on energy she couldn't do much anymore. I got up with my katana in my hand and charged at Ophelia and stabbed her in her stomach but it didn't do anything, it's supposed to drain darkness from her cause of the amulet. It wasn't working, I tried to attack Ophelia more but she grabbed me by the throat lifted me, and started choking me, Leona tried to help but got pushed back. It was getting harder and harder to breathe and I was getting ready to pass out but then the katana flew out of Ophelia's stomach and started attacking her. Ophelia dropped me and tried to grab the katana but then Yorisue and Roku came out of the katana and grabbed Ophelia. "HURRY!!" Yorisue said. I quickly picked up the katana as it began to shine completely in light, i stabbed Ophelia in the stomach again with it and this time it worked, she was being drained but she started glowing more and more. "Run...RUN!!!" Roku yelled as Roku and Yorisue went back into the katana and flew back to me. I picked up Leona and we both went into the main computer room. Then a loud explosion happened.

 The whole roof was destroyed as well as the whole walls. The building was collapsing but we could see a large portal in the sky where the darkness was going. Then the portal closed and Ophelia collapsed to the ground. The base started shaking and we could hear it collapsing. With all the energy I had left, I picked up Leona and Ophelia and flew to a safe place on the ground before collapsing. The hard drive I said. "Nah I got it," Leona said laughing. Wait when? I asked. "While you were fighting I kind of quickly went into the room got the hard drive and then came back to help," Leona said still laughing. We lay here watching the base collapse even more. "Where am I," Ophelia said trying to get up. We saved you I said happily. "I'm not even going to question how or what all happened to me but thank you," Ophelia said getting up on her feet. SISTER! I heard someone yell far away. I could see Eva flying towards up quickly. "Sister are you okay" Eva said with concern. I'm okay told Eva as she helped me up. "You rescued the android too and...this person," Eva said confused by Ophelia's appearance. This is Irene's girlfriend, Ophelia, we rescued her while in the base. Wait why are you here? I then saw Sashi and Irene flying towards us as well. "We detected that large energy burst that happened over here and we quickly came to see what was going on. Well, Sashi and Irene, we're supposed to be the only ones that came but I flew with them to make sure you were okay. "Your sister is just as cute as you Rachel," Leona said. I started blushing from that. "You not evil right?" Eva asked Leona. "I can promise you I'm not evil. Just here without a purpose now honestly" Leona said but sad. Irene and Sashi finally made it and Irene quickly hugged Ophelia happy that she was back to normal. "You will have a purpose, Le..." Sashi stopped. "We need to give you a new name," Sashi said. But why I asked? "It would be better to just in case people think this is just Leona in an android suit," Sashi said. "I shall name myself then Amanda," the android said happily and proudly. "Oooo I like that name," Eva said before quickly looking at the sky. What's wrong? I asked Eva before looking at the sky as well. Everyone else notices something is happening in the sky the same type of portal that opened when we drained Ophelia's dark energy. Eva took out her camera and started recording a video of the portal. Then something popped out of the portal quickly and then back inside before the portal closed again. "No," Irene said worried. "I'll report this to Tuya. She's not going to like this" Sashi said annoyed. "My scan says that was...a wyvern?" Amanda said but questioned. "Let's just get out of here quickly please," Eva said worried as well.
