Chapter 9

It was 10:00 am. A Saturday thankfully but today just sucked for me. I was so sore from yesterday's battle that today I couldn't get out the bed. I wanted to get out of bed to get food but I just couldn't. Eva came into my room and asked me what was wrong. I told her and she brought me breakfast and a healing potion that she made. The healing potion wasn't strong so it would take a while before it fully kicked in so I just laid here doing nothing. Slowly I was getting better and was able to even sit up in bed and move my arms and legs. I still sat in bed to just rest a little bit more while watching TV. "May I come in?" Leona asked me on the other side of my door. Yeah sure, I told her. Leona walked into my room and sat at my computer chair with her dragon on her shoulder. The dragon then flew at me and landed on my bed, it then playfully hoped to me and looked like it wanted head pats. I gave the little dragon head pats and it enjoyed the head pats I gave it. "Sooo I told the others a little bit of my memory came back kind of," Leona told me. What came back? I asked her. "First I somewhat know what the asshole that's pretending to be me is doing...well their group I guess. This little game they have us playing is helping both of them at the same time. Once we take care of the last wyvern we have to take care of an ancient being then we save Zelina. But there's a catch. In the past seals were used to seal off powerful beings or beings that could cause chaos in the world, once that seal is broken what was behind that seal is now out. Whoever this group is they want the seals to be all darkness. If it's all darkness then that's a step to put the world into complete darkness, if it's all light then too much light burns the world. It needs to be a balance of both light and dark. It's confusing, I know but I'm just going off what is coming back to me". Leona explained to me. So how does this help us at all? I asked her. "Having the seals balanced will not the darkness more powerful. Yes, the same with light but with the light side we won't burn and we will still be fighting. Also, Tuya figured out that with each wyvern defeat the less they get out of it. Cause of you draining the darkness out of it with your katana when the energy goes to us it's greater than when it goes to them, though you still get a lot of it. Think of it as EXP. Leona said giggling. "Also Tuya said once that seal goes away the thing that comes out of it is very powerful and was around the time she was alive," Leona said. What do you mean around her time? Like from the beginning? I asked her. "Remember Tuya, Sashi, and Irene are ancient. They were around before humans were alive in this world before any other races. We don't have a recorded time of when other races showed up like bunnies, cat people, etc" Leona told me. Who's behind that seal? I asked her. "Bahamut," Leona said. I leaned up quickly out the bed and looked at Leona surprised. The dragon king!? I asked her. "So you know about him? This my first time hearing about him" Leona said. Yes, Tuya said in the past about Bahamut this powerful dragon who started their race in the past but they sealed him away because of him being too mean and evil. The person who led the charge against Bahamut was Tuya, it's why Tuya was and still is the leader of her race and the queen of it. "If she sealed him before maybe we can do it again," Leona said confidently. Let's hope so. Or we just start to kill him cause he's evil. "Maybe we can make him a hero and join us and not want to nuke everything," Leona said happily. I don't know about that one I told her shaking my head.

Where's my katana? I asked Leona. "Tuya has it. jacqueline was going to upgrade it with a shard from that wyvern you fought yesterday as well as everyone else's weapons and gear but Tuya wanted it so she could talk to the two people in your katana" Leona explained. Oh boy. "Don't worry I doubt she gets mad and breaks your katana" Leona said giggling. I don't see how Jacqueline is making gear and why she's even doing it, not going to help much. "No it's not gear anymore that she's making, it's outfits that fit you all and that will bond with you all. Like this one she made me, it's like a witch outfit but cute and kind of naughty but hey I'm a summoner and mage so it fits. Just need a hat with it" Leona said happily. I looked at Leona's hair and noticed it was longer going down her back. Love your hair I told her. "Oh? Thank you! Didn't know if it would suit me or not, Happy you like it" Leona said smiling. My door started opening, we thought someone was pushing it open since it was cracked but no it was just the puppy. He jumped onto my bed and started barking wagging his tail happily. I gave him pets and belly rubs. The puppy looked at Leona's dragon and went up to it. The puppy booped the dragon's nose and the dragon did the same. The two started getting excited and even played with each other and ran back into the main room with the kitty giving chase as well. We followed all three of them outside so they didn't break anything and saw Chloe watering her plants. "Hey Chloe, do you need help?" Leona asked. "Nah I finished watering everything," Chloe said putting her watering can down.

"Amanda wanted you to meet her in Jacqueline's crafting room," Chloe told us. We both went back into the house to meet up with Amanda. We walked into the room and saw Amanda sitting in a car cleaning off a sword. "Oh hey. Glad you were free to take a look at all of this" Amanda said getting out of the chair to go to a closet. Amanda opened the closet and pulled out an outfit and handed it to me. A kimono? I asked her. "Yeah you have a katana so we thought it would fit as one of your battle outfits, it also helps with your fire resistance," Amanda told me looking back into the closet. I put on the kimono and it was very comfy, except for the chest area. Ummm my chest I said worried. "I want to say something but I don't know what," Leona said looking at my chest. STOP LOOKING AT THEM! I said blushing. "I can show mine," Leona said happily. Just...just no. Can I please have a bigger kimono? I asked Amanda. "Did not think it would have been that small up there. Okay, we can make you a new one dear" Amanda said happily taking back the kimono. "What would your other outfit be?" Leona asked me. "We are making poison resistance gear right now so that will be your other battle outfit," Amanda said sitting back at a desk and drawing out my kimono to be a bigger size. "Come back later and we should have it ready again for you," Amanda said still drawing out the kimono. Me and Leona left the room and went downstairs and saw Tuya standing we my katana in her hand. "We had a long talk" Tuya paused for a while. "Here and sorry for taking it from it" Tuya handed me back my katana and left. "I regret talking to her," Roku said. "She seems so depressed now," Yorisue said sounding sad. "Sorry Rachel" Roku apologized to me but I told them not to worry about it and asked them to tell me what happened later. "You know I'm surprised Amanda didn't say anything about me," Leona said. Do you remember her? I asked her. "No, but what I heard was she was created to be my friend...ummm, should I talk to her?" Leona asked sounding shaky. I told her she should talk to her since nothing bad would really happen. Leona then looked more worried even looking pale and sick. "O-ok," Leona said still sounding shaky. Leona then turned around and went back to the room Amanda was in. I decided to go into the training room downstairs and saw Eva punching and kicking a mannequin. "Hey sis," Eva said happily. "Amanda made us a new training friend," Eva said excitedly. Training friend? I asked her. "Hello," A voice said from the computer on the other side of the training wall. Why is there a computer on the other side of that wall and was that someone talking? I asked Eva. "It's me," the voice said but the glass turned into a smiling face on it with eyes. I was so confused by what I was seeing that I couldn't even talk. "My name is Cubby"
