Chapter 67 Suffer

We all attacked Cerberus, as this time he was fighting with what seemed like pride and honor for some reason. He was less brutal and more focused on testing us, especially me, Chris, and Eva. He also had wings, causing strong gusts of wind that made us struggle, but we still forced our way against the winds and damaged his wings a little to reduce the strength of the gusts. Because there were so many of us attacking him at once, there was nothing he could do. We thwarted everything new he could have done.

After 20 minutes, Cerberus gave up. "I quit. You're too powerful. I can see now why she was so scared. You all can beat her. Please do, what I go through and what others endure is painful. We don't want this anymore. She led us from Chloe's vision, and we fell for it like fools. The only time you'll hear me say something good about your other self, Chloe," Cerberus said to Chloe, seemingly annoyed. "Chris, kill me. I want to be done with my suffering," Cerberus said. "Why me?" Chris asked. "Son, I think he wants to give you his power," Mashimo said. Chris held his sword and killed Cerberus, as his sword now glowed with Cerberus's energy and power, comprising a mix of fire, wind, ice, and lightning, but Cerberus wasn't fully dead. His soul went inside of World Three Eva, who was surprised but seemed happy. "Best boy," she said, looking pleased. "Did you know him?" Junko asked. "He was my dog until Vyrexa messed with him," she told us. "Speaking of Vyrexa, let's kill her," she said, but we were then surrounded by wardens and hollows. "Can't you tell them to stop?" Eva asked. "They are out of control and fully in her command. I can't stop them at all. You all need to get to Vyrexa now; we will stay here and fight these things," World Three Eva said. "How are we supposed to do that?" Trio asked. "Just fly," World Three Eva replied. "We were confused, but World One and our group started flying away. We saw five wardens trying to grab us with chains, but World Three Eva blasted them with music notes, stopping them. "Does anyone else feel off?" Evie asked. "No, why?" Eva asked before we were teleported to a dark room with no lights. "Wait, where's everyone else? Where are your versions of us?" Katrina asked as we noticed it was just world one and me in this room. "Vyrexa," Katrina called out as the room lit up; we were in a completely white room, but slowly the floor was turning into blood that covered our ankles. Vyrexa showed up, covered in blood, smiling and breathing hard while naked and covered in blood. "This woman is weird," Evie said. "I don't like this at all," Christian said, getting ready. She was breathing harder before charging at us at full speed, blitzing Trio and Katrina, but getting stopped by Christian. "You need to be put down," Christian said as Vyrexa started drawing a symbol in the air above them. The symbol then started glowing and falling. Evie used her water to push Christian out of the way as the symbol blew up, causing blood to splash everywhere. Vyrexa started laughing even more, doing the same symbol five more times before she looked tired. We all attacked her and kicked her ass before she drew a symbol to push us back. "Slash," Vyrexa said as six symbols showed up in front of her. "Hope we can all dodge quick," I said as the symbols were sent out; one of them flew backward and slashed my back. "I got you," Evie said, but Vyrexa started laughing as Evie's healing only healed my scar halfway. "This hex shit is annoying," Trio said, walking towards Vyrexa. Vyrexa sent out more slash symbols towards him, but none of them affected him until he disappeared. We were all confused until he appeared behind Vyrexa with Mjolnir, blasting her full of lightning and thunder as much as he could until Vyrexa stopped it, but she was badly burnt and hurt. We followed up with more attacks, and Evie trapped her in a water bubble, which Trio electrocuted. Vyrexa, who wasn't screaming in pain, was enjoying it as her body began to boil and twist. She began cutting her body as an eclipse started to show in the room. The bubble she was in started moving in front of the eclipse as we all tried to stop her, with Trio even trying to electrify it even more, but Vyrexa took her hex blade and stabbed herself in the head before the room went dark, and we were all teleported back to everyone. "You guys made it back," Eva said happily. "You all did it... what the fuck?" Bahamut and everyone looked in front of us as the ground started turning oily and boiling. An eclipse appeared out of it, turned sideways, dripping darkness and fire from it as a large tower monster came out of the ground. It looked like a phoenix bird mixed with a beast and a ritual construct. "Shit, she completed the ritual. We have to stop that thing, and now! If we don't, then the final eclipse will happen," World three Eva said. "And what's that exactly?" Chloe asked. "What we were in when you left us. Complete darkness and a silent void," World three Eva said. Broken skeleton wings came out of the body with multiple limbs coming out the back, and in her body was a giant eclipse orb. "Space feels unstable," Chris pointed out. "Thirty minutes until space collapses," Cubie said. "WHAT?" World three Eva asked, shocked. "She's distorting it so badly that space is going to just... fucking kill her. Stop talking," Cubie said, scared. The sky started turning pitch black and the air started getting thicker. "Put on the mask; it should help you all if it gets too hard to breathe," Dr. Kaelen told us.

"Let's go then," I said as we all charged at her, but we were immediately stopped by a beam coming out of her body. "Get the fuck off me, move... great," Eva said, annoyed but still attacking and dodging Vyrexa. We started attacking the limbs so the beams would stop coming out of them, but the limbs were tough and thick, and they were grabbing us and blowing us up. We broke a few, but then they turned into sharp spikes that shot out at high speeds. Many of us got hurt by them, which slowed us down to heal each other, but the healing grew weaker over time as we were slowly drained of our powers.

Once we dealt enough damage, her core opened up, and it started to suck everything into it, even us, as we all went inside. I came to in the same white room as before, but I could see everyone trapped inside crystals, knocked out and having their life drained from them. "Now you see why you can't win. It's all going to be me and how I do things. No longer will I listen to anyone trying to tell me what to do. And YOU of all people ruined me. I was happy being a part of Katrina as I could be someone, but you stopped that and ruined everything. Now I'm just a hollow walking around with nothing. You even teamed up with the enemy, and somehow that still makes you a hero. I should be the hero here, as I was betrayed and was just trying to make the world better," Vyrexa said, but I shook my head and walked slowly towards her, getting angrier. "YOU are destroying the world for no reason, YOU are killing everyone for no reason, YOU killed my friends, YOU killed a bunch of students, EVEN KIDS for no reason. YOU'RE ANGRY FOR NO REASON, AND YOU ARE HURTING MY FAMILY FOR NO REASON BEYOND SOME STUPID FUCKING REASON. YOU HAVE NO REASON TO BE ANGRY, AND THIS EVIL MEANS YOU'VE ALREADY LOST, BUT YOU REFUSE TO STAY DOWN. YOU WEREN'T HURT, KATRINA WAS NOT YOU. AND YOU'RE RIGHT; YOU'RE JUST A HOLLOW AND A PLAN FUCKING HOLLOW THAT DESERVES A DEATH FIT FOR YOU, WITH NO HONOR, JUST PAIN AND SUFFERING. I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ME, TO ZELINA, TO WORLD ONE, TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS PLANET. YOU WILL PAY!" I yelled out, while my voice was echoed by Roku, Yorisue, and Phonixe. My Fire, Phoenix, and Eclipse powers felt so much stronger, to the point I was surprised my body wasn't breaking, but my body was cracking until it all went away. I was nothing but a dark body with glowing orange accents and dark orange glowing eyes. "Wh... No, please, no, please just don't... HELP!" Vyrexa cried out for help, which caused Dark Chloe to show up and look down on her, then back at me. "Please help me, I don't want to..." Vyrexa tried to grab her, but Dark Chloe kicked her back towards me, looking pissed off before throwing me an orb. "Make her suffer," Dark Chloe said in my voice before leaving. "No, no, no, please, I will undo everything, please," Vyrexa pleaded. "My phoenix can't undo life if people have been dead for too long... you stopped me from reviving people with your magic, didn't you? I could have saved those people at the concert, I could have saved Ashley, her husband, and the students, but you stopped me, didn't you?" I asked her. Vyrexa started crying and begging more. "No... I'm not sparing you. I felt guilt for my powers not working, and it was because of you... you don't know how happy I am right now to hear that it wasn't my fault," I said, giving Vyrexa the same creepy smile and laugh she gave us earlier before punching a hole in her chest and grabbing her. "And now you will suffer... forever."I said as her whole body twisted and turned, being engulfed by my powers, dragging her into the orb completely. Once she was fully in, the whole room disappeared, and we were again with everyone on the floor, but still alive. "We finish this. NOW!" I yelled out as an eclipse version of a phoenix popped out and screeched as feathers laid on everyone, giving them energy again. Everyone got up and immediately did powerful moves on the monster, and we finally destroyed it. "Finally," I said, turning back to normal. As we were all cheering, I noticed Eva was looking mad and sad. She then pointed to World Three Eva, and we all noticed her outfit changed to a more futuristic outfit, powering up with anger and sadness. She was yelling so loudly that a rift was opening in the sky, and the area we were in was evolving to be more futuristic. "What the hell are you doing?" Dad asked. "She wants me to join her, but I'm not," Eva said, powering up and blasting at her, but World Three Eva turned around and jumped into the air, setting off a large explosion that knocked us all out. Once we all woke up, we were in our base. "Were...back to our own places?" Tuya asked over the comms. "Did she move us?" Dad asked. "Look at this," Eva said, showing us the map. "Wait, the whole upper part of this world is different. It's all futuristic," I said. "its all punk rock themed to. This is...honestly amazing" Eva said amazed.
