Chapter 22 Zelina's misson

Before we headed out, we all decided to form a group to do the mission Zelina had given us. It was me, Jacqueline, Chris, and Samantha as the group went out to fight whatever the monster was we needed to take down. Amanda called us up so she could explain what the monster was. "Hey, Dad," I said to Johnny when he appeared on the screen. "Hello dear. Amanda, what are we looking for, and what is it?" Johnny asked. "Cubie," Amanda points to Cubie, who pulls up details on the monster for us to see. "According to the scouts Zelina sent out, we found out the location of this monster is in a huge cave in the mountains of NC. The monster is a large amphibian named Chenoo. He loves the cold weather, which is why he was put there to live and cause a damn mess. Apparently, he finally woke up and has been hitting the cave walls to cause a shake all the time. If we don't stop him, he will cause the whole mountains to collapse and be buried by all the snow on top of it. So, for the people that live there, we need to stop him now. Of course, with him being an ice monster, his weakness is anything fire-related. So the only one that needs a fire weapon, which I made, is you, Jacqueline. Watch out for his two big tusks; with those, he likes to pick up anything the size of him and bite down on it, breaking it instantly. Take out those tusks first. Those tusks help him pick up anything from a whole tree, boulders, and sometimes houses. Next, don't be in front of him a lot; he has freezing breath, though since you all have fire abilities, I guess Jacqueline should be the only one to worry about it. Then, in that case, Jaqueline, you take its legs; this bastard is a huge frog, after all, so stopping it from hopping, or if it does hop, it hurts him when he lands, would be very helpful," Amanda explained.

"I'll help with healing but also target the legs as best as possible," Samantha said. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" Chris asked. "Yup, I am. I think I can handle it." Samantha said back to Chris happily. "Well, before you four head out, grab your weapon and clothes out of your room. I just put them in there," Amanda tells us before returning to what she was doing. "Wait, how did you...?" Chris was confused. "I can easily do stuff without you all looking, so it's easy. Good luck, by the way." Amanda goes back to working on the scythe with Dylan.

I returned to my room like the others and noticed that the doggy was in my room, about to sleep. I started giving him belly rubs and head pats to help him sleep. "Best boy he is," Roku said while in my katana. "Are we sure this monster is easy enough to be taken out with four people only?" Roku asked. "Technically, seven," I told her. "Yes, but we're in the Katana, and I heard your father... he's not good enough like he used to be," Roku said, concerned. "It will be fine; we got this," I said back to Roku while putting on my jacket with fur on it. I walked out of the room to see Chris in his big coat with a slightly newly designed sword; the only thing was an orb in the middle of the handle. I noticed Samantha holding a staff with a dragon head wrapped around it; she was even wearing a cute orange cloak with a hood on. "Look at you all, adorable," I said to Samantha. "Thank you, Mom," Samantha said back. Jacqueline finally came out of her room in her heavy black jacket with her sword and shield, but it looked the same. "Did Amanda not give you a new one?" I asked Jacqueline.

Jacqueline took her shield and pressed a button, which caused a flame aura that could grow around it and us and even had white wings coming from it. The shield even turns gold around it and pure white inside the middle. "Badass shield. Only thing missing is a logo" Chris said. "Can't think of one, sadly. I would say either Irene, Zelina, etc. logo, but we need our own logo. Each of us," Jacqueline suggested. "I might know of one for myself. But let's do it later when we come back," Chris said, opening the door to leave.

We headed down to the NC mountains and found the cave entrance and my father standing there waiting by a campfire to keep himself warm. "You all made i..." Johnny was cut off by the sudden roar of the monster inside the cave we were next to. "We have our roles we're going to be doing; what about you, John?" Chris asked. "I'll help Jacqueline take out the legs since you two are taking out the tusk, and Samantha will be healing," Johnny says as we slowly move into the cave. We then see the Chenoo. But its body is almost entirely black, and its eyes are glowing red. The Chenoo turns around, spots us, and lets out a roar that blows us back out of the cave. The monster then charged out of the cave and at us, but we luckily dodged out of the way as he hit a large tree, stunning himself. "O-kay, I guess no time to study this thing up close and straight to fighting," Jacqueline said before pulling out her sword and shield. "Help me." A cry for help could be heard coming out of the monster. "Wait, what?" Chris said, shocked. We then noticed someone watching us from above. We couldn't tell who it was since they had a mask on. The monster went to charge at us again, but the random person shot a fire blast at the beast, flinching it.

The person jumped down to us and pulled out a long sword. His mask started to glow with electric energy, and the long sword began to glow and shoot out electric energy. "It's a white sword with a light blue aura and a blue handle. "That sword looks familiar," Johnny says before noticing the monster recovering and looking at us pissed, but we hear a "help me" again coming from it. "GO!" Chris yells out as we charge at the monster. I, Chris, and the random person started attacking its large tusk, and Johnny, Jacqueline, and Samantha attacked its legs so it couldn't move or jump anymore. Even though it was tough, it wasn't too bad. I almost got eaten, and we all got charged into the side of the mountain multiple times, and Johnny almost got slammed on if it wasn't for the random person. Honestly, he saved us cause Samantha had a hard time healing us and using her magic during this fight. Finally, the monster was weak, but we needed to knock it out; we didn't know how, as nothing we were doing made it stay down. "Samantha, you need to focus a lot of energy and hit this thing." Said the random person. Samantha was starting to shake and had difficulty focusing on using a lot of energy to make a big blast. The monster began to charge at us again; we all helped Samantha stay out of danger so she could charge up enough energy. Finally, she could shoot a large blast at the monster, causing a massive explosion and knocking out the monster. Samantha quickly recovers and places her hand on the monster, but a large amount of energy shoots out of the monster, and a soul emerges, going toward Samantha. It starts to float around Samantha happily. "I guess we can bring this one back to Dylan and Amanda and this egg back to Tuya," Samantha said, picking up the egg. "Also, hi, Matt," Samantha said, looking at him. "How did you know it was me?" Matt asked. "Cause I can see through people's disguise. "Wait, you're alive?" Johnny asked. "Yup, your old captain is back alive, thanks to these kids saving me," Matt said, laughing at Johnny while taking off his mask. "I thought it was told that I was brought back. But here I am." Matt said. "So your Leona father. Where did you go after I took over?" Johnny asked. "I faked my death so I didn't have to worry about any of this. But seeing as my ex-wife was involved in this, I still was, which ended me. But thankfully, after years of being trapped in that house, I'm freed and alive." Matt said happily.

"We have catching up to do, sir," Johnny said, smiling. "Sir? You're the leader now and in a higher rank. I should be calling you sir," Matt said, laughing again. "Nah, I still got to show you that respect. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be in this position, honestly," Johnny said, laughing too. The two keep laughing and walking away from us. "I wonder why Johnny never told us about him," I asked. "With how close they seemed, maybe he was very hurt to lose someone who taught him everything. He didn't want to think about it anymore," Chris said. "Well, let's get out of here before people come to investigate," Jacqueline said, flying away. Chris and Samantha did as well, but I stayed behind slightly. I then turned around and saw someone in a black robe. "I'm doing this so she becomes well," He said, sounding like Tyler. "She? Do you mean Eva? What do you mean she becomes well?" I asked him. "The Eva you're seeing is a fake. My love is in the ocean sick. After being left to die, she was brought back by this strange woman, but sadly, my love is a monster in the water, in pain all the time and angry, wanting revenge. I do want revenge for all of this happening to us. You know who did this to us," He says, removing his black robe. His left eye is missing, with electricity coming out of it, and a scar glowing with electricity going down his face. "Even then, we can't let you do all of this, especially with Bahumant," I said. "You must. It's the only way she will survive. But even then, Bahumant isn't fully ours. Rachel wants to use him to...other things. Bahumant is the key to everything getting better," World One Tyler said to me. "Wait before you go." Before I could ask my question, Tyler said, "If Bahumant wasn't alive still, then we wouldn't be this strong. You can blame your dragon lady for that one," Tyler says before lighting, striking him, and disappearing. "Rachel, you good? What was that lighting strike" Chris asked me." I'll tell you when I get back. Before I flew away, I looked back into the cave and saw a big glowing rock. I picked it up and flew back home the best I could without dropping it
