Chapter 47 Learning The Powers

"Ready?" Eva asked as we all said yes. "Good cause, I have one more surprise for you," Ophelia said while wings started to grow out of her back. Her wings were glowing purple, with scales on them. She then pulled out a void sword and pointed it at us. "I don't care if you think you can't beat me. I want you to hit me with everything you know, no matter what. GO!" Ophelia said, doing an air slash which sends a slash our way. Eva runs in front of it to tank it, but instead, she absorbed it. Ophelia tried to use her speed to ambush us, but Samantha easily tracked her with her shots and sword slashes, stopping her. Ophelia then turned to look at me and tried to cut me, but Chris stepped in.

"Oh, Mr. Protector over here, I see. What a man you are." Ophelia said, trying to overpower Chris in the clash. "Not going to happen, cupcake," Chris said, not being overpowered. Ophelia was thrown off by that, since only Irene has called her a cupcake. Once I saw she was distracted, Samantha and I both attacked her. Samantha threw her upwards as I slashed her downwards into the ground hard with Leona, using her Xeno blast. Ophelia dodged, but Leona hit her with an ice spell to freeze her in place. Ophelia used her wings to fly out of the ice, but was met with Tyler attacking her in the air with Miriam on his back, doing big claws at Ophelia, hitting her with each one, and cutting her, even leaving a claw mark in her cheek. "Down," Ophelia said as her void magic grabs them and throws them down, but Eva power bombs her into the floor. "GO SOULS!" Leona says as the souls in her arcane gun come out to attack Ophelia. "Join in, Nel," Eva said, slamming the handle of her scythe down, causing Nel to come out.

"Look at all those souls," Samantha said, amazed. All the souls started attacking Ophelia and holding her in the air. "Got you," Nel said as her air uncovers her eyes. She shoots a powerful beam, with Tyler pointing his spear at the beam, making it an electric void beam going right through Ophelia. "Bullseye," Samantha said. "Ni...Sho..."Ophelia was in a lot of pain, but her body is freaking out. "What the hell?" I was confused. "No...Please, body, don't start this now," Ophelia said, freaking out. "Tuya, what is happening?" Eva asked. "Is the virus. Why is it happening now?" Bahamut asked, confused. Ophelia's body started to turn into more void crystal, going all over her and closing in on her. "WHAT DO WE DO?!" Miriam said, panicking. "RACHEL!" Chloe yelled to me and nodded. "Chris and I quickly ran up to him and placed our hands on her. "Phoenix, please help! PLEASE!" I yelled out as Phoenix came out and looked at all of us. "You do it," Phoenix said. "What?" I asked. "You have the power to save her from her virus. You have my power. Use it." Phoenix said before she went back into me. I closed my eyes and kept my hands on Ophelia. "Everyone now," Chloe said, but Phoenix came out and stopped them from doing so. "She has the power to do this. Let her do it. Cheer her on," Phoenix said, turning to look at me. As I keep my hand on Ophelia. The crystal started to go into my body and no longer encase her. They're going away. But why are you absorbing them?" Chris asked me. I felt nothing but pain in my body as the crystal went inside of me, but I wasn't getting weak or anything. I felt like I was getting stronger. "Cleanse her of this damn virus," I said as Ophelia's body glowed brightly. "There it's done," I said, but I noticed my voice was doubled. "Hun?" Chris was confused. "Mom?" Samantha was confused, too. "The crystal should be gone. A lot of pain was inflicted on me, but I'm fine, thanks to my powers." I said. "Where they go? Eva asked. "Inside of me. I...so tired," I said, feeling weak. "Stop. Use your energy to recover, you can't just go get a small nap, you have to recover yourself," Phoenix said in my head. I focused and got back up, feeling better. "Phoenix is amazing!" I said happily. "You saved me. Thank you," Ophelia said, getting up. Everyone powered down and ran over to make sure Ophelia was okay. "My powers are fully yours now. You still need to go train them, but I will help you in your battle from here on out. And for everyone, I felt great powers in all of you. Still need to tap fully into them, but you are all so close," Phoenix said before going back into me. "I say we all call it today and get some food," Tyler suggested. "Let's go to Japan and get some Ramen," Chris said. "Let's do it. Want to come with Ophelia?" Miriam asked. "Sure, but I'm going over to get tested on why the virus hit me like that and why so late," Ophelia told us. "Well, come on then," Eva said, excited. I could feel you inside of me kicking me. "I guess she wants food too," Ophelia said, laughing. "I think she's getting close," I said. "Already?" Chris said, sounding a little worried. "I think so, but we will worry about it later," I said as we all left.

We all ate some Ramen and hung around for a while at Chris's parents' place. "You all are getting so strong. But this dangerous animal they are making has me concerned." Junko said. "We got this. We can take that thing down before it's a huge issue." Tyler said proudly. "Alert alert!" Cubie said. "Oh, what now?" Chris asked. "Monster so close nearby. It's flying over the area," Cubie said, panicking. We all ran out and saw a massive wyvern flying above us to an open field. "Did you guys see it too? Ophelia asked. "Yeah, we did," Miriam responded. "I'm getting bad readings off that thing. You all may need to go as a whole group," Bahamunt told us. "Wait. It's heading towards Japan's oldest and largest cherry blossom tree. "We can't let that thing destroy it. COME ON!" Chloe yelled out as we all flew to intercept the wyvern.

"I'm coming to help out," Father said. "Mind if we help to?" Demi asked as she, Felix, and Matthew met up with us. "Are you all sure you're ready?" Chris asked. "I think they are," Father said as we tried to speed up to the wyvern. As we were catching up, the sky suddenly turned dark, and it started storming heavily. "What is with th..." Eva was suddenly struck by a powerful bolt of lightning and flew down into the water below us. "I'll get here to meet you and this little island nearby," Tyler said, diving for her. We all landed on the island, only not that far from the tree. "Eva, are you okay?" Tyler asked her, but Eva was out cold. "Shit," Tyler said. "What's happening?" Trio said, showing up. "When you get here?" Tyler asked. "I heard what was happening and wanted to assist," Trio explained. "Well, you showed up just in time. That big ass wyvern is planning to get that tree," Chris told him as we saw the wyvern go right towards the tree. But he didn't attack it. It closed its eyes and smelled the tree. But once it did, its whole body changed into something more elegant.
