Chapter 27 Soma and Kato

I woke up the next morning, but noticed I had kind of overslept since it was 11 am. I got up out of bed even though I wanted to stay in it, even the puppy was still asleep and didn't want to get up, but he had to so he could eat. I took a nice warm shower, dried myself off, and put on my clothes. I went into Eva's room to see what she was doing, and she was changing her hairstyle. "Why are you changing your hair? Eva's hair was now a short punk rock style with the tips of her hair being purple, but the rest being black with no shaved sides of her hair, and the left side of it going down slightly over her left eye. "is so soft, Eva," I said, feeling her hair. "Thank you, I just decided it was time for a change, seeing as I had that very long hairstyle for years. I think the shorter style will work more for me," Eva said, cleaning up her cut hair. "Have you thought about cutting or changing your hairstyle?" I can do it for you since it seems like I'm good at it. Oh, also, I was talking to Amanda earlier. If you ever want a design, let me know, and I can work on it. I want to be a designer for all of us. Chris has cooking, and I'll have style," Eva said happily. I laughed and accepted Eva's offer, "Not right now, though, let's wait until next year for the hairstyle. But for clothes design, I do need a new battle kimono." I said to her. "Well, Amanda did say that frog was an ice element. I could design all of our outfits to be an ice design one. Kind of wish we didn't need these battle outfits to help us against those monsters and our counterparts. Just have it have more defense for us, but sadly, no." Eva said, disappointed. "But whatever. Jaqualine will be working on it since Amanda and Dylan wanted to go investigate the temple with Chris. She recommends that you and Samantha go, so when you're done eating, just go let Amanda know." Eva told me.

I went downstairs to finally get something to eat, then went back upstairs to let Amanda know I was ready to go. I saw Chris and Samantha were in the room and were also ready to go. "If my sister and brother show up, please don't kill them. If they try to run, we need to capture them to question them. Hopefully, they just join us and explain everything." Chris said, getting up with his sword. Me, Chris, Samantha, Dylan, and Amanda flew out to where the temple appeared and quickly looked around the whole area to see if anything else was off. We went back to the door of the temple and tried to open it, but something was stopping us from doing so. Like someone's hand was grabbing ours. One of them was keeping Chris hold, but Chris wasn't scared; he seemed relaxed. "Soma," He said as a figure started to uncloak herself. "Fukaya," She said back. "Father?" Samantha questioned, as this was the first time of us hearing Fukaya. "Where's Kato?" He asked. Another figure uncloaked, eating some ice cream. "Hello there," Kato said. "And father? You had a child already?" Kato said happily. "It's a long story, but...Look, I know you're probably not going to, but we need to ask you two a lot of questions, especially with" Before Chris could finish, Soma stopped him "To join you. Gladly if it means to stop our father and mother." Soma said. "To stop them?" Chris said, confused. "Fukaya," Samatha said, writing it down. "You changed your name, didn't you. What name is it?" Soma asked. "Chris," He responded. "Sorry for grabbing you all, you are now allowed to enter. We tried to, but...we almost died. You were in there, but you're different." Kato said, confused. "It's why we need to talk to you two. If that's where her little hideout is or whatever, then something is so wrong." I said. "Look, this is it," Dylan said, calling us over. We came over to see on the door two symbols on it. "What do they mean?" I asked. "We saved Evie and Trio, then this temple showed up, and there are two symbols. We need to save them all, and this door opens." Dylan said. "That leaves me, and Jacqueline left before we could open this door, then. I also feel a lot of dark energy coming from this temple. Bahamut energy. But Bahamut was...DAMN IT!!" Chris said angrily. "Chris," Kato said. "Cubie, make this a permanent marked location, and Johnny, if you're hearing this and can look at the location Cubie marked, I need you to get people to keep this temple locked and never be entered into," Chris said, flying up. "Soma, Kato, follow us back to the main base," Chris said to them before we all flew away back to the base. "Will have a house ready for the two, they will be across the street from all of us. Also, we expanded the backyard. We all now have a huge backyard. Tyler's father is enjoying the space since he loves to garden. See you all when we get here," Eva said, ending the call.
