Chapter 66 Death

Sashi looked disappointed and very pissed off. "Sashi, anything we need to know?" Chris asked. "End him," Sashi said as we dodged frozen ice killers that formed and erupted as the wolf howled loudly. We all did as Sashi said and attacked Kael, but Kael, being a giant wolf, was extremely quick, tackling us and throwing us around. Trying to overwhelm him wasn't going to work this time at all. Kael howled and sent out an ice tornado at us, which a fire tornado then clashed with, stopping it.

"Kato," Chris said, not surprised they were here. "We got bored and have been asking around if people need help," Kato said as Kael started howling. "I see you all do," Kato said as both he and Soma joined us. "Sashi, can we free him from this transformation?" Leona asked, trying to summon something. "He's dead. Even if we do save him, he's just dead. We're fighting nothing but a fake, and no one makes a fake of my father's number one soldier," Sashi said, pumping herself up and punching the wolf, dealing a lot of damage and even pushing it into a structure, collapsing it to the ground. "Hell yeah, go wolf queen!" Kato said happily, praising Sashi before he, Soma, and Chris shot a powerful fire blast at the wolf, followed by me, Chloe, Katrina, and Christian pointing our swords at it, blasting it with more fire.

"GO Eiryssa! I SUMMON YOU TO HELP!" Leona said as her whole body glowed, and Eiryssa showed up. Even though Eiryssa was also an ice-powered summon, she still dealt massive damage against the wolf and then gave us a buff to not be affected by the cold for seven minutes and then went inside of Leona, giving her her abilities, horse, and weapon. Kael recovered and went after Leona, clashing with her while we attacked it more before it was able to knock Leona off her horse and cancel her powers. "LOOK OUT!" Chris shouted as Kael grabbed Leona with his teeth and started trying to eat her, but Katrina slashed his left eye, making him drop Leona. "You okay?" Katrina asked. "Somewhat," Leona said, having a hard time getting up.

Eva and Tyler flew past Katrina, grabbing onto the wolf's head and making it slam into the wall before the two of them summoned a huge lightning bolt to strike Kael, but Kael got up slowly and howled, summoning seven ice crystals and draining energy from them. "He's trying to heal. Destroy the crystals quickly," I said as we destroyed all of them except one, which let Kael heal a little bit, allowing him to attack us hard again. "Fuck this," Eva said, powering up even more. "Oh, let's do this then," Tyler said as both of them shared energy and grabbed the crystal, throwing it straight into Kael, pinning him to the ground and stopping him from moving.

"Kael...Kael will not be beaten by humans. Kael is...bleeding from the head...oh...you dare kill your friend?" Kael asked, realizing that she just shoved her axe into his head. "If you were the real Kael, I would have mercy and save you; you're a damn fake. Now, I don't know what happens to you fakes, but if there's a hell, then go back there," Sashi said before she lifted the axe and ripped off its head, bringing an end to the fight. "Forgive me, Kael, for thinking this was you. A true warrior of the Merle clan would never succumb to darkness like this. If only you were still here to give us strength," Sashi said as her axe glowed and became more icy, with ice crystals forming on it into a cute heart. "Thank you, Kael," Sashi said, taking off the wolf's head from her axe and lifting it, letting out a powerful howl.

"Someone seems to still be in their prime," Kato said, smiling and being playful with Sashi. "Kid, I'm old. I'm not in my prime anymore like you all are," Sashi said, being humble. "Suuure. Whatever you say, queen," Kato said, leaning against the decapitated wolf and getting grossed out by it. "Ewww, now I have fake wolf blood all over me," Kato said, grossed out. "Something inside of it. Here, hold this," Sashi said, giving the head to Kato before going inside the wolf, but Kato tossed the head at me, almost looking like he wanted to puke. "Oh, grow up. There have been worse things," Chris told him. "No, this is worse... it even smells... oh god," Kato said, running to get behind a house. "Actually, yeah, that smell, why is it horrible?" Soma asked. "Because us wolves, when we die, we smell horrible. I mean, we used to eat very bad things back then; of course, we would smell bad," Sashi said, digging out the body. "Here you go," Sashi said, giving me an ice shard and Eva a gauntlet and cloak. "Thanks... why did it have to be in him... Amanda, please just get the corpse," Eva said, grossed out like all of us. "Oh, come on, it's not that bad," Sashi said. "I'm not even there, and I can only imagine how bad it smells," Kenzie said as the drones took away the corpse. "Hey Sashi, can you stop by the base?" Sashi asked. "Yeah, why?" Sashi asked. "...I don't need to be washed like a dog," Sashi said, annoyed as Eva was washing her outside. "You fucking stink," Eva said, getting annoyed back at Sashi. Sashi looked so mad but seemed to enjoy the bath she was getting. It was cute. "Is Kato feeling better?" I asked Chris. "Thanks to the tea and scent device I gave him, he said he's feeling a lot better," Chris said. "This tea is amazing. We should make more of it," Tyler said, enjoying the tea a lot. "Don't drink too much; I still need to make a Japanese dish. Don't want you to get full off tea," Chris said. "Ebi furai. I've never made this, but I will try and help," Samantha said. "Even though you're injured, you trying is already going to make this dish good. But I feel like you should rest still. All of us should. That was a rough fight," Chris said. "You're telling me. My damn back hurts like hell," Miriam said, with ice on her back while the puppy laid with her on the couch. "Jacqueline said her vision is coming back but still dizzy, and Leona's scars and wounds are healing up quickly thanks to my healing magic and Rachel's phoenix," Chloe said, walking downstairs.
