Chapter 11

It was a quiet midnight and very relaxing. It feels good that Ophelia now knows what she is and helped set her family's spirits free. Everyone was getting ready to sleep until Ophelia called us randomly. "Hey... I'm sorry if you all are about to sleep," Ophelia said over our device, still having the British accent. "No, we were just getting ready to sleep. What's up?" Eva asked Ophelia. "I wanted to share the tapes with you all. May I?" Ophelia asked us. "Yeah, but why do you suddenly have a British accent?" I asked. "What's a British?" Ophelia asked. "Are you serious?" Jacqueline asked. "Nah, I'm kidding. I have no idea. After what we did, I just suddenly had a British accent. I honestly like it a lot. Anyways, here's the first one." Ophelia said while starting the first tape. "Test 1. This is scientist Kenzie. I'm trying to create an ultimate life form to prove to everyone that someone like me can create anything for good. That stupid class didn't know what they were talking about. Now look at all of them: they're dead and were arrested for being dumb and ignorant. This first subject, subject 1, is going well so far. They are listening, doing basic tasks, and even can fight already. My next big task is to see how much it can take a hit psychologically." The tape skips to what seems like hours later. "Subject 1 was a failure; the subject couldn't take a hit and was a mental mess. I will try again tomorrow." "Why did it skip? Anyways," Ophelia said, confused. "Test 50. I don't even know why I'm fucking recording this one; it was a fail as well. The subject didn't even wake up after I created it. I want one of these to fucking...to hell with it. I will try again." "Tests 59 and 60 both were failures. One was doing very well but killed itself by hanging, and the other went to sleep and never woke up again. I'm getting so damn close to giving up. I'm going to try one last thing, and that's using Tuya and her dumbass dragon people's blood. Let's hope I can get their blood, but it would be better to get Tuya instead; yeah, that would be much better. Then, once this happens, they can take over if this goes correctly. Tuya has me doing all this scientific shit and not anything else at all. Also, Tuya once wanted to join forces with other races for no reason, so she keeps me alive, but humans shouldn't trust her. No humans, no wolves, no one." "Test 61 through 64. This has taken a whole year, and just in time, I heard Bahamut is ready to attack us even though I could have sworn Tuya killed Bahamut already, but if she spared him last time, then why did fuck is she still queen? I mea"...static. 

"What?" Ophelia quested, confused. "What's happening, Ophelia?" Chloe asked. "I'm sorry, Ophelia. It was never meant to be like this," Kenzie said through the tape. "Was this a trap? Ophelia said, sounding like she was going to break the tape. Please don't. This is me talking to you," Kenzie quickly said to Ophelia. "Why should we talk to you? You were trying to make weapons and take over everything," Ophelia said, upset. "That was never my intention; yes, I could make people, but I was for good and never for evil. The school didn't think so and kicked me out. I was approached by someone in a black cloak with a hood completely covering his face. I have an opportunity, he told me. It was to change my life if I worked with the dragon queen Tuya, helped them with anything they needed, and worked on my creation in secret. So I took that opportunity, and he gave me this light orb, saying to use it once Tuya lets me work for her. So I did just that and then used the orb in secret, but much of what it did was completely take me over by its energy. I didn't come to until you did whatever you did," Kenzie explained. "Do you remember if this person was working with a group?" Eva asked. "Yes, he also said if I keep doing what I do and it's a success, I can join them. His voice sounded like your friend Chris," Kenzie told us. "First Leona with Angel, and now someone is a copy of Chris, maybe," Chloe said, sounding worried. "Next time we run into Angel, we just capture her and beat her until she talks. She owns us Ashley's sister anyways," Jacqueline said. "You're right. Anyways, here," Ophelia snaps her finger. "Ummmm, my book...a spirit came... oh, I see," Leona realizes what happened. "Your welcome Kenzie" Ophelia said. "Thank you, Ophelia, again. I'm sorry. If you can put me inside something, I can be useful...even a mom," Kenzie said. "I'll put you back inside the orb and think about it. Maybe Amanda has something," Ophelia said, sounding annoyed. "Thank you so much," Kenize said with excitement.

"I got the orb Ophelia" Leona told Ophelia. "I'll pick it up tomorrow. Goodnight you all" Ophelia said quickly. "Ophelia?" Chloe said, sounding upset. Ophelia sighs. "It's too late for her to be a mother, but I don't mind giving her a second chance. Also, would this mean the others and I am related to Tuya since it's her blood?" Ophelia asked. "I don't think that's how it works, but who cares? You finally know the truth," Eva said excitedly. Yeah, you're right; sorry for keeping you up with this; we should sleep." Ophelia said. "Goodnight now, British person," Eva said jokingly. Ophelia giggles. "Goodnight, you all." 

The following day, I woke up and ate breakfast with everyone until Amanda came downstairs and told us she gave Kenzie a new body. We all went upstairs and saw Ophelia sitting down as Kenzie woke up in her new body. "You agreed to me having a new body?" Kenzie asked Ophelia. "I asked my sister and brothers, and they agreed," Ophelia told Kenzie. "Please take me to apologize to them and Tuya as well...please," Kenzie begged. Ophelia, at first, was conflicted but agreed, and the two headed out.

"Whatever you need to do, do it today, please. I just got a message from Angel," Irene told us over our coms. "Well, what do you all want to do today?" I asked everyone. "We can invite Chris and Tyler over to train with Cubby," Eva suggested. "Hell yeah, let's see what Cubby can do," Jaquculine said excitedly. We called Chris and Tyler to come over while we finished eating. Amanda called us up again and gave us outfits that she made. For me, it was a redo of the kimono she made for me earlier and a pink crop top with cute pixel art cozy shorts as a new casual outfit. The new kimono heals me and nullifies poison. The next monster we're supposed to go against when we get Ashley's sister is a blind, poisonous wyvern with golden scales and dots of red and blue on its body. It's known to live in a cave full of treasure. Anyway, the outfit she made for Eva was a crop top with a tear design at the top and bottom, with shorts that had a tear on the pants leg, and a white jacket with a pink design at the top, looking like paint dripping down it. Since it was a battle outfit, it also had poison resistance and healing like mine, but it also boosted healing. And a causal outfit that was a... see-through t-shirt and booty shorts. "Eva, what the hell?" I asked her. "What I'm only wearing it here. The shirt at latest booty shorts I will wear a lot," Eva said, giggling. Chloe's battle outfit was honestly like a casual outfit. Short sleeve t-shirt with leggings, but it boosted her ice ability. Her casual was a tank top with shorts. Jacqueline battle outfit was based on Sashi's battle armor, a top that exposes the top of the chest with fur around the next and silver all around it with silver pants with a fur belt around it and going down in the middle of the pants. It even comes with a cape. Lastly, Leona's battle outfit was an Egyptian-themed outfit, with a pyramid-shaped hat with a visor over her eyes and a long black dress. Both the hat and dress had gold also in the design. Her new casual was sweatpants with broken hearts and a black t-shirt with love hearts on it. We asked if Amanda could show us Chris and Tyler's outfits, but Amanda said not until they arrived, so we waited until they did.
