Chapter 23 Finding Help

"What do you mean a monster in the ocean?" Eva asked me after I explained everything that World One Tyler told me. "This," Chole said after painting and turning the canvas around. It was a beautiful mermaid. "I don't understand," Eva said confused. "While I was sleeping this is what I saw, but if she's sick and under darkness with Bahumant powers then this is what she would be," Chloe said as she turned the painting into something different. This time Eva was still a mermaid but now she had huge wings coming out, and her body was now green, with scales on her arms and back completely. "How did I...her become a mermaid?" Eva asked Chloe. "This is the only thing I saw in my dream. Didn't even see anything of how she was before." Chloe said, still trying to think. Chloe knew but couldn't tell everyone who she truly was just yet. "So we need to figure out where she is and maybe the real version can be freed which stops this fake we've been fighting" Tyler suggested. "We could but that is a lot of people who need to be sent out just to find her. And with your world one version out there, he could stop this" Eva said. "Irene is mother nature, maybe she can sense where she is," Chloe suggested. "Should we go ask her then?" I asked. "If you're going to ask in person I'll go with you," Irene said. "Then let's go, we got nothing else to do today.

Me and Irene went out to Irene and Ophelia's house to ask her for help. We arrived and went up to the door and saw a planet come out the wall and look around us. The planet then nodded and then went away while the door opened. "What a unique camera she has," Leone says while we walk into the big house. As we walked into the living room we smelled some lovely BBQ ribs being made in the kitchen. "Oh hello! Wasn't expecting anyone to show up today" Ophelia said coming out of the kitchen with an apron on. "Is the BBQ smell so strong that it lured you here?" Ophelia said as we heard the door opening again. "Well it lured me in for sure but I mostly came here since these two forgot something," Miriam said, coming in in her cat form and with Chloe painting in her mouth. "What's this? Something Chloe is drawing?" Ophelia said, looking at it. "It's what we came here to talk to Irene about. That's a different version of Eva. It's the actual world, one version of her, not the one we have been fighting." Leona explained. "Go to that door, it will take you downstairs, and through the double doors is her planet room. I hope she can help because if the real one is out there and we don't find her. This is going to be a problem." Ophelia said while still cooking. "Let's go then. Miriam, you coming?" Leona asks. "Nah I want food, I finally get to have BBQ ribs and I'm not about to miss out on that," Miriam said, getting a plate and silverware.

We went downstairs and into the planet room and saw Irene gently petting a sunflower that started dancing. "Wow, all these planets, and they are so healthy," Leona said, amazed by all these planets. "The fact that you two came to me means something is wrong. What's up?" Irene ask. "Think you can use your powers to figure out where she is?" I asked while showing her the painting. "Water Eva. And this is another world version of her?" Irene asked. "This is the true World One version. The one we were fighting I'll just label as a guardian. Even world one Tyler seems to be her guardian but more protective." "Could that version of him be fake as well?" Irene asks. "We don't know but we have to find Eva first. Maybe your powers cause you to sense what's in the water." I said but Irene nodded no. "I know someone you can ask but...you would need Rosa's help. It's her ex-husband. He has that power but since they split I don't know." Irene says. "Oh great," Leona says annoyed. "Let's head back so we can call Rosa and ask for her help. Thank you Irene" I said, giving a hug to Irene as well as Leona giving one before we went back upstairs. We then notice Miriam in a chair looking very full and tired. "Thank god I can cook fast. She had 20 whole ribs." Ophelia said laughing. "Miriam does start being fat," Leona says, picking her up. "Here, take this with you'll some dinner for you all." Ophelia hands us 2 bags of plates with food in them. "Thank you. And you and Irene have an amazing dinner" I said as me and Leona flew back home to update everyone.

We all started eating the ribs that Ophelia made us and tried figuring out how the hell we were going to get this to work. "We just have to flat out ask and if she says no then we send out spies to track where he is" Chris suggests. "The fake he has been this hidden for so long tells me that spies may not be able to find him," Tyler says. "Cubie, could you help?" Eva asks. "Trying to find Rey let me check the database on his last location. After 5 minutes cubie found something "Here" The screen turned into a map pinpointing a location. "This was the last tracked location of Rey years ago. Right when he stopped being a hero. He could still be there as trying to go to this location now seems to be some interference." Cubie says. "Then tomorrow four of us go out there and if he tries to fight back then we beat him up and drag him back here until he helps us," Jacqueline said. "Don't think we need to become violent," Chris said but Eva looked at him upset. "We HAVE to get his help. If he says it's not worth it cause no one likes us then big whoop. We're doing this just to do it at this point to get it over with and stop the darkness or whatever and fix everything." Eva says. "She's right. But we are still helping people though. Rather we want to or not. Okay, Eva?" Tyler says seriously to Eva. Eva sighs and says okay. We all clean up and start going to sleep but Chloe stops me to talk to me. "This is new," She says. "What do you mean?" I ask. "She wasn't a mermaid when I made her. She was human, what is causing everyone to change" Chloe asked. "How powerful is dark energy? Cause it seems like there's a leader. Maybe in each world, one of us is a leader. So world one it's all of us but maybe Tyler is the leader of that world. If so then they could have full control and with their powers, they can change everyone and everything." I said. "So her regular power is a mermaid but since she was under the effect of darkness it turned her into a siren," Chloe said while still thinking. "But why is she still pretty? Sirens are supposed to look, kind of dried up somewhat" Chloe said confused. "With what they are giving her that could be why. That means that without Bahamut's powers and darkness she would just die" I said, sounding sad. "We have to figure out how to save her once we drain the stuff out of her. Let's just hope we can do this. Goodnight sorry for keeping you up" Chloe walked out of the room and I went to sleep finally. 2 more days to find and defeat Eva and 4 days until Christmas. Still too much to do.
