"Samantha... let's think about this," I said to her, not wanting her to kill Nyxara. "Kill her? Why should we give a shit about her?" Katrina questioned. "We need her alive so she can be locked away," Dad said. "This is one reason why I killed you, you're fucking soft. She doesn't need to be locked away; she needs to die right here and now," Katrina said, which shocked all of us except Chloe. "What do you mean you killed Dad?" I asked, getting pissed. "Oh? Did that hurt your feelings? I killed Father and Mom in my timeline for their stupid-ass decisions, and that version of Father is what caused the darkness to flood into World Two," Katrina said so casually. "Shall I show you that I'm not like your version by beating your ass?" Dad said, getting pissed. "Go right ahead; you're nowhere near as strong as me," Katrina said, powering back up. "Weak," Dad said before powering up all the way and further than what he had before. "What the hell?" Chris said, being pushed back like the rest of us by Dad's energy, except for Chloe and Jacqueline. Dad had angel wings come out of his back as they glowed white. Katrina tried to power up with both light and dark but was quickly taken out by Dad. "Fuck this!" Katrina tried to shoot a finger beam at Dad but was stabbed in the back by Samantha, who didn't look too good and also more evil. "Why?" Katrina asked her. "Cause you're being a bitch; maybe I should kill you instead," Samantha said, stabbing her again. "SAMANTHA, STOP!" Chloe yelled out to her. "Hmmm... I think... I won't," Samantha said as a flood of Nox magic came out of her as she charged at us but then stopped. "Wha... why?" Samantha said, struggling to move. "Bark." The dog started barking, having his sword in Nyxara's head. "Damn... but you'll see me again; I swear it," Nyxara's voice said, coming out of Samantha before all the Nox magic came out of Samantha and shot into the sky before blowing up. The area finally cleared of Nox magic and went back to normal. "I need... to scan stuff before I pick it up," Samantha said before passing out and looking worse for wear. "We need to get her back to base," Jacqueline said, holding her up. "You okay there?" I asked Katrina. "Fuck... off," Katrina said to me, angry. "Why are you so nice? And why are the others so nice as well? We were all evil; how the fuck did you make us nice?" Katrina said, annoyed.
"What do you mean? Well, I get what you mean, but you were all good before, so we brought that back out," I explained to her. "True, yes, but after we were left, we just changed. We don't even know where the darkness truly came from unless it was always the other version of Chloe. But even then, that wouldn't make sense, because then what was the darkness we fought in our world?" Katrina asked. "Just how the writing was, but it was Chloe's other version that took control of it," I told her. "We need to report back to the king, but a few of us will go back to base for Samantha," Tyler said. "Katrina and I will report to the king. You all make sure Samantha is okay," I told him.
While Katrina and I went back to the king, we got to talk a lot more. "Why did you create Samantha and make her a weapon?" I asked her. "To fight the darkness and kill us. It's one reason why I never targeted her when things went down. I gave her everything, but I believe that because of her going through so much and going to different worlds, it messed her up more and more. I went the wrong way with how I should have handled this," Katrina told me. "Maybe. Honestly, with how strong you made her, things could have been worse if you didn't," I said to her, giggling. "Even when things are bad, you all still smile. I wish I was like you all," Katrina said, finally smiling. "See, you're doing it now," I pointed out to her. "Oh, I am... I hate you for that," Katrina jokingly said. "Also, how's the sword you use? I need to learn how to use a greatsword," I asked her. "I love it, but damn, is it weak. It's my first and only sword. I need to upgrade it or just get a new one. Then once we do, I would love to fight you one day," Katrina said. "Ask Jacqueline to make you a new sword; she'll happily do it, and she usually gets it done in a day. Also, if we do fight, Sashi's daughter will try to join in. She loves to spar," I said. "Sashi had a daughter? I'm surprised she did finally," Katrina said, laughing. "Yeah, we were caught off guard since she hid it from us for so long," I told her as we finally made it back to the pixie tree.
"I see you actually did it. Honestly, with how strong the noxbraiers were, we thought you all would have been defeated and that there would be no hope left. You all were our last resort. So, as promised for doing this hunt, you have our blessing and can build a base out here in our country as long as the pixies can join you all," the king said happily. "Of course you all can join our group; the more help we get, the easier this all becomes," I told him. "Once you all are ready, just let us know. Until then, please return to Samantha; I'm afraid that eye is fully gone," the king said, sounding sad. "Let's go find out," Katrina said as we flew back.
Once we made it back, we went into Jacqueline's workshop and saw Samantha lying on a bed with mini tubes going inside of her. "Is she okay?" I asked her. "She's stable, but there's no way I can fix that eye... she'll never be able to have an eyeball; that left eye socket is completely destroyed. The good news is all the Nox magic is fully taken out of her body and is no longer in there... except for some reason she can now use Nox magic herself, which... her body seems to have let her do so... ummmm... I'm not good at this at all," Jacqueline said, getting sad. "There's nothing that can be done. That eye socket was completely destroyed by that shard of Nox. No matter if someone smarter than you tried to fix it, it's just not possible," Katrina said. "Katrina, do you think there could be a temporary solution for Samantha?" Chris asked. "There is, but it's risky if we do it," Christian said, walking in with Evie and Trio. "No, we're not doing that!" Katrina said, standing her ground, but Christian pulled out his sword and held it to Katrina's throat. "We will, and you will join. You created her as a weapon and never fully showed her you loved her. So now is your chance for you to finally be a mother to her. If you were in the same boat, wouldn't you be hurt too if someone who is your mother just used you and never fully loved you?" Christian asked her, getting angry. Katrina seemed to have a change of heart as her face just became sick, and she started crying. "Now you know how to do the magic, so let's fucking do it," Christian said, holding Katrina up. "Okay," Katrina said as all four of them went over to Samantha.
"This better not fail," Katrina said, placing her hand over her left eye. "Have hope, you ass," Christian said, placing his hand over his left eye. "Glad you're finally being a mother after all these years and incarnations," Evie said, doing the same thing. "I'll trust it once I see it," Trio said, placing his hand over his eye as a large amount of energy came out of them and into her eye before forming a spirit eye. "There. Even though it's temporary and can only be used when you power up, it should still let you see. And even if you don't power up, you'll be able to sense danger and movement very quickly. Powered up, you have perfect awareness of seeing incoming moves from blind spots, hidden enemies, and weak points of armor and magic. Also, because of all of us, you should be able to use one of our signature moves. You surprised me, Katrina, but I still fully don't trust you," Christian said, powering down.
