Chapter 2

I woke up early in the morning and went to the kitchen to eat. Sashi was there and asked me if I was sure I wanted to do this mission alone. I told her yes that I wanted to do this mission alone cause I felt like I could do it solo. "This is a very dangerous mission to do solo but if you can do it then that will be impressive," Sashi said. "Now remember your target to rescue is the android but apparently someone else can be reduced, her name is Ophelia, and she's my sister's girlfriend but sadly she went missing out of the blue and Irene found out she was corrupted" Sashi got done talking and handed me a amulet but no energy was coming from it. "If the android is still alive then have her charge it up. The amulet will not work until the person you using it on is weak, if you use it early it will not work" Sashi said as she got up and wished me luck.I got done eating and headed out to the base where I needed to go. It was a somewhat long flight but lucky I made it, i didn't see any darkness outside but I could sense a lot inside of the building. I flew down to the door and walked in, the lights were flickering, blood everywhere, and just a complete mess in here. There was a room that had a fully working light and a computer running, I was going to enter it but then a figure near the stairs all the way down the hall was walking staring at me. I pulled out my katana but the figure didn't move instead just showed her aura which was darkness mixed with light. This must have been Ophelia, once I put away my katana she went away up the stairs. I looked down at the amulet and then put it back in my pocket, the door to the room opened behind me and it was the android standing there. "You just going to stand there or you going to come in and be safe" She said while holding her chest. She looked badly damaged but the good thing was that she was safe and alive.I entered the room with her as she almost fell on the floor but I grabbed her in time and laid her on a bed. She pointed to the top of the computer where the cabinets were, I opened the door to one and there was a fully charged core. I picked up the core took out the Android core and placed the new one in there. The android woke up and hugged me happily. "My old core was at 5% so I'm lucky you came here quickly or else I would have probably died," she said still hugging me. "My name is Leona I am a android with light and was created for..." She stopped and seemed she didn't want to continue with the conversation. "If everything is true I was made a friend to someone named Leona who apparently is somewhat evil. She came here the day of the attack and was very upset with everyone so she decided to kill everyone but I ran and hid. The person who made me never told her where I was in the building. I heard her cry and then proceeded to murder him brutally. She then made the whole building plummet into darkness and I guess if I was to be defeated that was an easy way for her to get me. I wish I could be her friend but I don't know what she would do to me at all and what her plans are, she has a plan to redo everything but after doing some calculations that could kill her honestly". She said with concern. I told Leona that we would find a way to stop Other Leona without killing her or before she kills herself. The android got up and looked outside then came back inside and sat at the computer desk. She tried to make contact with Sashi but something was blocking the signal now. "Well we're going to have to get out of here but the only way is from the top of the building. All the doors are locked down. Seems as though once you came in they auto-locked" She said. "I hope you are strong enough to fight through a lot of bullshit that comes from darkness," She said to me but I was confused. What do you mean? I asked. "Everyone that died comes back to life as dark brainwashed people. You have to kill them, their souls are already gone so don't feel bad if you have to kill them" She told me. "Are you connected with your weapon?" She asked. No, I told her. She then grabbed my katana and the amulet and took them to a weapon-crafting machine in the room. She placed both on the table and said activate, I watched as the machine fused my katana with the amulet. "Pick up the sword and let's see what happens," She said happily. I walked over and picked up the weapon and felt a change, it felt like the katana was connected to me. I then saw it pulse with flaming energy but also dark flames. Darkness? But why and how I asked. "Because of us," a voice said out of nowhere. "We are your katana," another voice said but this time a female voice. I looked at the katana which came out of my grip and started floating in front of me, then two figures showed up standing in their spots like the katana was. "My name is Yorisue Benitoki," the male voice said. "And my name is Roku Mizuhiki," the angel lady said. You two look like someone I know named Tuya, she's a dragon person too I told them. "Thank god she's still alive," The male voice said happily. What do you mean? I asked. "We were her friends but sadly we died during a war. This weapon you holding was mine until I died but before I did I told everyone close to me to give this katana to Roku" He said. "But sadly I died as well. My death was at Tuya's hands. The war was between different clans and we had to fight since she didn't trust me anymore. I knew I wasn't strong enough to defeat her so I put my soul into this katana and let her kill me. So that's why I'm in this katana. She must have known what I did cause she picked up the katana after battle then later once she met you she gave it to you" She explained. "Now for the reason why there's darkness plus light that's the cause of us. The amulet drained the darkness you had plus a little bit of light you had then we picked a role to play. I picked darkness while Roku picked light. Now for why you have darkness, it might just be something that happens over time. Unlike human Leona her darkness was gotten from what she did, your seems to be from somewhere else. Your sisters and friends must be the same way. Sashi, Tuya, Irene, and them have darkness but they mastered light and dark so if they let's say use a dark energy attack it will always look like light. He explained. It was confusing but I slowly started understanding. The two went back into the katana and back into my hands. My damn brain hurts so much from all of that but I couldn't just let that stop me cause I'm confused, so I put away my katana and prepared to leave the room with the android.
