Chapter 38 More training

It was now the 28th, 9am. "Rachel. We got training this morning," Eva said, waking me up. "Another one today?" I said I was still half asleep. "Remember, yesterday was a free day, so today is training," Eva said, picking me up out of bed and taking me to the bathroom. "Come on, I know you're tired, but we have to do this. No one else can do what we do. Well, people can, but that's a lot of training. We're already I feel like stronger than Sashi and them, but we have to get stronger," Eva said, splashing me with water, which did wake me up. "Thank you. Let me shower. Can you get me a towel?" I said, starting to take off my clothes. "Sure, I'll throw it in here," Eva said, humming out to get a towel. I finished the shower and came downstairs, putting on my shirt to see everyone at the table eating blueberry waffles that Samantha had made, except for Chloe and Jacqueline, who weren't there. "Where are the other two?" I asked. "Irene needed them for something important. They didn't say, not even Irene, said what it was about." Eva told me with her mouth full. We all ate and got ready to head straight out to Irene for training, but we were stopped.

"Hey, wait, come down to your training room, we're down here," Irene said over the coms. We went to the training room and saw Irene, Chloe, and Jacqueline talking. "Oh, good, you all made it. Today, training is against Chloe," Irene said excitedly, but we were not really happy. "You want us to fight our maker, someone who is much stronger than us... We're dead," Eva said, upset. "You're not fighting me. Cubie, if you please," Chloe said as Cubie turned the room into an open field and summoned a bunch of ice people with weapons. "Your goal is to take each one of these down quickly. You have thirty seconds for each wave of them. Got it?" Chloe asked. "We can do this...easily, I think," Leona said. "Meow. " Miriam said, getting out her neko form ready to fight. "Alright then. ATTACK!" Chloe yelled out as the ice people charged at us.

"Leona air support," I told her as she summoned her wyvern with Samantha and started shooting the ice people while all of us attacked them on the ground. "I need to get used to this scythe, I'm sorry, Sadako," Eva said to her. "It's fine, just take your time," She said back. "Let's see what happens if your air support is in danger," Chloe said, making ice archers to target them. "Tyler, lighting combo," Chris said. "Gotcha," Tyler said as the two of them started targeting the archer and using their powers together. We keep fighting and fight with each wave a new enemy, golems, knights, mages, etc. We made it to wave 60 before we stopped. "I'm too tired," Eva said, trying to get up. "I am, too. This is exhausting," Chris said, sitting down. "Then we are done. Here," Chloe said, placing her hand on the ground. The ground turned white, and all of us got a boost in energy. "Oh, I'm not tired anymore. Thanks," Eva said happily.

Our bodies started to glow and feel a little chilly, but then stopped. "Ice stomp. One of my moves that I gave you all. Though you really can't use ice, unlike Miriam, you can still do an element stomp. Like Eva, you already somewhat had one, but do a soundwave stomp," Chloe said, giving Eva her guitar. Eva does it, and it sends out a soundwave mixed with ice, void, and lightning stomp. We all joined in, but using it together caused this big white stomp to happen and a large shake in the ground. "Holy shit," Tyler said, shocked. "So even the stomp can work. Make sure to remember that." Chloe said, seemingly surprised to. "Here, break this," Chloe said, throwing us a power shard. We broke it and felt a massive burst of energy. "Ultimate moves. Try to do them," Chloe said. Chris's attack was the Excalibur blade, and he could use it at any time. Mine let me do a quick slash, which left behind cuts. Once I put away my katana, it was able to do more cuts. I called it sinful cuts. Eva got two. One was a void storm that would shoot down void meteors. With her scythe, she was able to slice the air open, causing more meteors to come out. Tyler was able to clone him and send them to slam themselves into the target, causing a lightning explosion. Leona was able to make her wyvern use a large amount of holy magic, and all of her wyvern attacks did a mix of divine magic and fire. Her body would glow as well, and her spells also were a mix of fire and holy. Miriam was able to cause a hailstorm with large hail balls, or she could cause large ice shards to form up and send them all out. Samantha had everyone move, but her exclusive move was a powerful sniper shot. However, it took her a little while to charge it. But after her energy dropped very low, leaving her out in the open. "We have to do these attacks on something like now," Leona said.
