Chapter 19 Training

After a few hours of doing nothing but chilling and training, we finally got called upstairs to see Dylan. "Well, Hello. You all must be, I guess, soon-to-be gods I keep hearing about while being worked on by my wife," Dylan says as he kisses Amanda. "Yes, it's very nice to meet you and bring you back to life again. We heard you're very smart. We need all the smart people and help we can get in this small war we are all in," Leona said, scared. "Small...I wouldn't say that. Also, no need to be scared. I hold nothing against you as the person who ruined everything wasn't you okay?" Dylan tries to calm Leona down, but Leona can't help but feel guilty. "Now, onto some more good news, I think we might be able to get more allies easily. But to do so, we need to use opposite powers. For example, if you can use light to take her out without killing her, I wonder if that would free her from who she's working for. As much as I would rather have her killed since she's the one who caused all of this... I'll let it slide if I'm correct about everything and what you told me, Amanda," Dylan told us.

I pulled out my Katana as. It glows white with light. "It would have to be my Katana since this would work more. We just have to hope to weaken her that much," I said. "Could we make everyone's weapons have that power?" Dylan asked. "I would need to make the amulets, but it's difficult to make them perfect," Amanda told Dylan. "That's what your husband is for. Let's go back to doing what we always do and love to do," Dylan said, hugging Amanda. "We all need to get back to training and figuring out more on how to weaker her, about Leona...so much stuff," Eva said tiredly. "We all got this. If we need you all for anything or find anything good or bad, we will let you all know," Dylan said while sitting at a desk with Amanda.

We all ended the day, finally getting some well-deserved rest. The next day, Sashi gave us a mission to come to her and Tuya's castle for training. We all showed up with Chris and Tyler and followed a dragon lady to the training room in Tuya and Sashi's castle. "Wow, this castle is so cool and so big too," Chris said, amazed by the castle. "Thank you. Now, thanks to Cubie's help, we can do a battle simulation here for you all and our people," Tuya said while she and Sashi sat on a throne. Tuya snapped her fingers as 20 dragon people spawned, ready to fight us. "First round. Defeat all of them together. This should be easy, as this group comprises weaker monks and mages. Good luck," Tuya said before snapping her figures to start the battle. "Wait. Cubie, I need you to record everyone's movements and actions. We need this to make better gear for everyone," Dylan said over the comms. Sure, I will be happy to help," Cubie said.

We all started attacking as a group, taking care of every single person. "Well, that was quick. Let's try something you need to put your back into," Tuya says as she snaps her finger. The outcomes are 20 more units, but they seem bigger and tankier. We all started fighting again, but using our abilities to take down the units still felt a little too easy. "Tuya, this feels more like a warm-up than actually training," Eva says. "That's because it is. It's still early morning, so you have time to get a mission I have for you done, but I want to test you all even more, especially the two new people you have, the neko and your other world daughter." Tuya says, spawning a big gold-handled sword into her hand. The handle was designed as a dragon with a silver blade coming out of its mouth. We all get ready to fight Tuya as the room turns into an empty castle arena. Tuya was a mighty dragon, but this was to be expected, especially since she was the daughter of the most powerful dragon, Bahamunt. Tuya wasn't the quickest, but every swing of her sword when we blocked it pushed us back with so much force.

Eva grabbed Tuya's sword but was not in much pain doing so. Tuya could push back against Tuya, but this was a setup to help Tyler strike Tuya with lighting, which worked. Tuya pushed away Eva and tried to go after Tyler, but Chloe froze her feet, and Chris charged at her, swiping her feet, which caused the ice to break; he then grabbed her leg and tried to throw her, but she kicked him in the chin which caused him to fumble backward. He could still block Tuya's sword strikes with his sword; he then fused flames into his sword, which caused flames to engulf the sword, which helped him immensely in attacking Tuya. Tuya again pushes Chris away, but Eva runs up to her clothlined Tuya; Miriam then uses her claws to lightly cut Tuya in the back. Tuya was about to slash Miriam and Eva, but Samantha and Leona shot a big fireball at Tuya, and Leoan summoned her dragon to distract Tuya. Tyler and Chris then runs in with Chloe to deal one final strike to Tuya, causing her to be pushed back hard and knocked down.

"Okay, let's try something different," Tuya said as her sword started having a white glow coming off of it. "I want to fight Chris only for this one," Tuya said, charging at Chris, who started blocking all of Tuya's strikes. This time, the strikes were quicker than before. Chris was still holding his own but was beginning to be unable to keep up with Tuya. Chris tried to strike, but Tuya hit him first, causing him to be knocked into a hard wall. Tuya then shot a big fire blast at Chris, which shocked everyone, even Sashi. We thought the blast connected, but Jacqueline had her shield out once the smoke cleared. "You blocked it?" Tuya said, surprised. Jacqueline started laughing but dropped to one knee as that blast was powerful, and she used a lot of energy to block it. We then noticed Chris picking up his sword and ready to keep fighting. "Thank you, Jacqueline. That left you wide open," Chris said, which confused Tuya until she screamed.

Miriam was biting Tuya's swinging arm, and Eva punched Tuya hard in the stomach. Tuya finally dropped her sword and couldn't reach it since Miriam was still bitting Tuya. Tuya threw Miriam away, but she got one last claw swipe in before being thrown away. Samantha then ran, grabbed Tuya's sword, and started using it against her. Tuya's claw then came out and started deflecting the sword, but I helped out with Roku and Yorisue, who powered up my Katana, causing me to be able to strike Tuya. "Okay, okay. Jesus Christ." Tuya tried to get us to stop, but Eva grabbed Tuya's face and blasted her into the same wall Tuya threw Chris in earlier.

"WAIT!!" Sashi yelled out before the room turned back to normal. "Next time, I'll try not to hold back too much. It seems you guys weren't even holding back," Tuya says, laughing before passing out. "Did we do too much?" Eva said panicking. "No. Tuya wanted this, but I don't think she truly realized how strong you guys are. You beat her base form, which not many people can do at all." Sashi said happily. "Go on back home. I have something waiting for you all back there since you passed this test. And be prepared for later. If Tuya is up by 5pm, she has something for you all to do. I'm really proud of you all," Sashi said, carrying Tuya out of the room. We all flew back home happy and feeling great after that training session. "I don't feel like I'm a good fighter at all. I feel like all I can do is claw and bite," Miriam said, sounding sad. "Don't worry. The more you hang out with us, the more you'll learn new tricks. "Eva said back to Miriam.
