Dominic's POV

I broke away from Thalia, taking a moment to simply look into her stunning brown eyes. It was easy to get lost in them. She was still pressed against me, and I could feel the familiar rush of desire building inside of me. But I made sure to take a deep breath and control myself; I didn't want to ruin things by moving too fast. Being patient was key if I wanted this to work out between us.

Thalia struggled against my hold, but I refused to let her go. "Dom, what are you doing? We can't do this. We agreed to just be friends. You already kissed me, crossing that line. We have to stop," she snapped, pulling away from me.

I inhale deeply before speaking softly, "Isn't it clear, Sugar Pie? I want you near me," my lips brushing against her neck with each whisper. The scent of her drives me wild; every fiber of my being aches to make love to her right here in the back of the limo. But Thalia deserves only the best treatment, so engaging in sexual activities in such a confined space is off-limits.

"Alright, Sugar Pie, I'll stop for now. But know that I can't keep my hands off you. I want you so badly, but I will be patient. Let's go, we're here!" I mutter as I open the door and help Thalia out of the limo. Together, we make our way into the building and towards the elevator.

The elevator quickly open, leaving us in a private cocoon of excitement. As soon as the doors shut behind us, I press Thalia against the mirrored walls and kissed her with so much passion, savoring her intoxicating scent. She initially resists, pushing against my chest with all her might. "Dom, we agreed to just be friends!" she exclaims angrily.

I grip her arms tightly, my eyes mirroring the turmoil within. "You've already said that," I remind her, "but I can't resist you, Sugar Pie. You're like a drug to me, and you may be the death of me." My breath hitches as I continue, "My feelings for you go beyond friendship. I thought I could suppress them, but being this close to you... it's impossible. We only met last night, but there's something about you that makes me want to make you mine."

I whisper in her ear, unable to control myself around her. She turns me on more than any other woman ever has, even my ex-wife. Screw what people may say about our age difference - she's an adult and so am I. When two hearts are at stake, love knows no boundaries.

Finally the elevator dinged, and we arrived at my penthouse floor. Reluctantly, I released her, my hands lingering on her arms for a fraction longer than necessary. Thalia stepped back, smoothing out the fabric of her dress as she composed herself. There was a palpable tension between us as we exited the elevator and approached the door to the penthouse.

I fumbled slightly with the keys, my hands shaking with a mixture of anticipation and the dread of uncertainty. The lock clicked, and the door swung open to reveal the sprawling luxury that awaited us. The city skyline was visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a romantic glow over the meticulously decorated space.

Thalia's too a deep breath, slightly as she stepped inside, her gaze sweeping over the tasteful art, the plush furnishings, and the grand piano that sat regally in one corner. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for her to fill it with life.

"Impressive," she said, her voice steadier than her earlier protest. I couldn't contain my smile as she gave me a backhanded compliment about my artwork skills while exploring my living space with her hands. "Thanks, Sugar Pie. I have a passion for art, so I guess you could say I have a knack for it."

Thalia rolled her eyes at the pet name but couldn't mask the small smile creeping across her face. "You and this 'Sugar Pie.' I suppose there's no escaping it now," she said, her voice laced with amusement as she offered me a playful smirk. Setting her purse aside, she wandered over to the expansive window, captivated by the cityscape bathed in sunlight.

The rays highlighted her beautiful brown skin, her natural curls framing her face in a halo of light — a beauty I've always admired in Black women, along with their strength and grace. Why had I waited so long to embrace what my heart truly desired? As I watched her, a mix of emotions swirled within me. The night ahead was veiled in uncertainty.

"What does this evening hold for us?" I pondered silently. The air was thick with the promise of revelations that could alter everything. We were on the brink of discovering truths that could either bind us closer or tear us apart, forever.
