This case went from trying to connect to random arson attacks to a full fledged multi-agency taskforcing manhunt. Hotch gathers us all around, the bullpen full of every type of law enforcement agencies. Spence and I sit on his desk together listening to Hotch. His fingers brushing my hand that lays in between our thighs.
"It's not often that we know a subject's name, and in this case, knowing Ian Doyle's identity doesn't give us very much. He's known to a select few, and those who know him well either work beside him or they're on his list. 2 or 3 of his victims worked for CWS and were responsible for his transport to North Korea. There were 7 operatives on the mission altogether, and the remaining 5 have been warned. All the Federal and International agents responsible for tracking him down are now on his list of targets. We'll find Doyle the way we find any other offender...by studying his behavior. We'll dissect his every move since he regained his freedom. When he escaped from North Korea, he killed a man and used his vehicle to cross the border into Russia......." Hotch continues going over everything we know about Doyle.
After Hotch dismisses everyone, Derek comes walking back in with a piece of paper. "I got 4 names on the bottom of the list Prentiss gave us." announcing to us while he walks over to our board. He bends down to match the names on his sticky note to the paper Emily got from her contact in the CIA.
"Luke Renault, Lawrence Riley, Lilia Rafferty, Lyle Rogers."
"All with the initials L.R." Ashley states.
"Oh my gosh.....I didn't even realize." My voice was dripping with sarcasm. Hotch gives me a pointed look. "Sorry" I mutter.
"The CIA uses cryptograms like that to assign to non-official cover agents working the same case." Hotch explains.
"So do other foreign countries." Spence adds.
"Sweet....can I get one? Natasha Romanoff at your service." Spence looks at me with furrowed brows.
"Isn't that Black Widow's name in the Avenger movies you like?" He questions.
"You remembered....not that I didn't think you wouldn't remember because you've got that whole sexy eidetic memory....I just mean that you actually paid attention to the things I like......this is why I'm madly in love with you Spencer Reid....because you remember....and have a sexy mind.....and you're tall.....plus you love books just as much as I do....granted the books you read are way more educational than most of the ones I read.....well I guess you could say my books are educational in a different way.....I'm rambling aren't I........" I look around the room as everyone stares waiting for me to finish.
"You think my eidetic memory is sexy?" Spence questions. I nod my head yes.
I'm just about to answer him when Derek interrupts. "Moving on before this gets weirder....the last four names are covers....spies." He tells us pointing at the redacted sheet.
