"Ok, ok, uh, the tv movie is in hall H at 9:00. Can we go to that?" Pen asks us walking towards the convention front doors. Spence and his adorable cosplay as the Fourth Doctor looks around at everyone enjoying every bit of this.
"Absolutely." He smiles wide towards her. "Do you both think we can make it to the captains of the enterprise panel at 11:00?" He questions.
"Obvs!" Pen states while I nod my head squeezing his hand in mine with excitement. She asked us a few weeks ago if we would accompany her since her and Kevin were no longer together and Derek refused to come. I of course never turn down a chance to dress up. Which means I'm looking like a slutty version of Sarah Jane Smith, the fourth doctor's bestie.
"Hey thank you both for coming with me. It means a lot." Pen tells us.
"Of course. I've been knitting this scarf for weeks." Spence says showing off his impressive scarf.
"It's true he was super excited when I told him about the invite." I look up at my adorable husband. God I love him.
We suddenly stop when Kevin walks in front of us with another woman. The audacity...even though they aren't together anymore. He's still not allowed to be dating.
"Penelope!" He says in surprise. He was dressed as the eleventh doctor, the same doctor as Pen.
"Kevin! Hi. You came." She looks over to the woman with him dressed in a sexy police uniform as Amy Pond. Pen looks over at her clearly trying to act like it wasn't a big deal, "And you brought a friend.CSU technician Sharp, how are you?"
"Fine. You?" She answers Pen back. I don't like the subtle attitude in her voice.
"I am also fine." Pen nods her head up and down a few times, "Ok, well, see ya." Pen tries to make a dash for the parking lot. Spence's face drops.
"You're not gonna go in?" Kevin questions stopping her.
"No. Actually, we just went in and it's super lame, so we're leaving." She grabs on to my arm pulling me and Spencer with her.
"Oh, okay." Spence says looking at me with sad puppy dog eyes.
"Congratulations on the nuptials!" Kevin looks between me and Spence.
"Thank you!" Spence gives him a little wave.
"Well that was awkward." I state as we walk down the steps.
"Oh, my god. We used to come every year. I can't believe he brought someone else." She sounds defeated which makes me what to kick CSU technician Sharps little ass.
"Well, you brought us with you." Spence reasons with her.
"Yeah. A married couple, that I couldn't possibly be sexually attracted to....well I mean you." She looks pointedly towards Spence.
