"Spencer Reid!" Sunny shouts from the other room my gangly legs tripping over myself to rush down the stairs. Fear coating my heart. So many horrible possibilities turning through my mind from her shouting. I slide across our hardwood floor rounding the corner towards the kitchen where Sunny is standing clutching her stomach. Her wide eyes look up at me with a mix of emotions. I stumble forward, everything becomes distant like my world is in slow motion.

"The baby." She begins her lips slowly tilting into a soft smile, "I-I think I just felt the baby move."

I drop to my knees in front of her with a profound amount of relief. I could scold her for scaring me but seeing the look on her face, that marvelous wonder....she was radiant. I will never understand how this is my life. How I ended up here with her. My life begin the day she spoke those two little words to me. Nice cardigan.

"What does it feel like?" My hands rub her belly looking up to meet her pale green eyes alight with excitement.

"Like bubbles...or popcorn popping....it's the most wonderful strangest feeling. There's a legit human being growing inside this thing." She points towards her rounded bump.

I chuckle softly placing a kiss on her belly before standing to wrap my arms around her nuzzling my head against her neck. "Does this mean the last 18 weeks you thought you didn't believe there was a real human being growing inside of you?" My voice was muffled against her neck.

"Yes, not until the 19th week did I realized that it was in fact a human being and not an alien or a medical cyst mystery." She laughs rubbing my back.

"Because the crying and pickle slushies weren't a tall tale sign that it wasn't a cyst."

"You never know with a medical mystery Spence."

I take a deep breath not wanting to leave the warmth of her but I made a commitment to Morgan earlier this week that I'm already regretting. I look at my watch letting out a small sigh before standing up straight, Sunny biting back a smirk.

"Let me get my snacks and then we can go." She turns to throw an assortment of bagged snacks into her giant tote purse.

"It's going to be embarrassing enough with Morgan, but having my wife see me utterly fail at something is not an experience I want."

She stops filling her cup with ice to look over her shoulder at me, "First off, you are Doctor Spencer Reid. You can do absolutely anything with that big beauitful brain of yours. Secondly, if you thought for one second that I was coming to see you're athletic skill you are dead wrong. I'm purly there to drool over my husband looking sexy holding a bat....I don't need you to be good I'm just trying to live out a fantasy that involves a vampire that resembles you." She gives me a giant grin and wink before finishing filling up her water bottle.

"Vampire? What vampire and what does holding a bat have to do with anything." I question completely confused.

"Oh my sweet innocent husband. I have so much to teach you." She starts to walk off towards our garage door turning around to look at me, "Let's go, we're gonna be late."
