Pen comes hurrying across the bullpen making a straight shot for me. "Morning Pen where's the fire?" I try to tease. Spence gives me a puzzled expression before looking around for signs of fire. God he is adorable.

"Salutations....anyway I need to talk to you asap. I'm invoking best friend rule number 15." She rushes out clutching her side trying to catch her breath.

"First are you okay? Second, there is no best friend rule number 15....we don't even have a first one."

She waves me off with a huff. "Some light jogging in heels I'll be okay...." She takes one more deep breath before standing up straight.

"Your exertion used based on the way you are wheezing as you try to catch your breath would suggest that you were indeed running, not lightly jogging." Spence interjects. Penny sends him a glare that even made me cower.

"Best friend rule number 1....no fiance's allowed in these conversations." She points her finger towards Spence's desk, hinting for him to walk away. He looks between me and her slightly confused.

"I think I'm being asked to leave." He turns to me with the corner of his lips turned in a downward grin. He leans in kissing my cheek before whispering in my ear. "She's sorta of frightening when she runs."

I bite back my laugh, watching him walk towards his desk shamelessly enjoying the view.

"Eww gross. Can you keep it in your pants for five minutes?" Pen pretends to find it gross but the smile she fails to hold back tells me something different.

I finally turn my attention towards her with a smirk. "I think we've established that when it comes to my fiance I want him 24/7."

"You both are disgustingly cute. I like the dress by the way, the converse make it more Sunny appropriate it." She gives me a wink.

"Since I'm not allowed to chase bad guys right now and it's hotter than satan's ball sack, I figured it couldn't hurt to try something new....plus Spence really likes when I wear a dress." I smirk looking back over to watch him lean against his desk while Rossi shows him something in the paper. His gaze briefly landing on mine for a moment making my stomach flutter.

"Oh my god!" Pen groans. "At first I was like awe that's cute he likes you in a dress until I realized that it wasn't cute you big freaking horn dog!" She swats at my arm.

"Hey!" I put my arms up to block her. "It's not my fault he has a high libdo."

She laughs clutching her stomach. "You mean you both do, stop lying." She shakes her head amused. "Girl even when I was with Kevin we.....well we could at least control our hands....and lips....and basically not have eye sex with each other across the room...or get turned on by your guys nerdy rambles."

I give her a small sympathetic smile. "How have you really been....since the break up?"

She lets out a long sigh before speaking. "I keep wondering if I'm being an idiot...but then I remember that when relationships get more official....they get messy...and you give and you compromise...and people change...and then somebody goes away...and you're left empty...and I don't want that...I don't want to be empty....and I'm not....at least I have you and Derek....and the rest of our team. I'm fine...being single. I don't need a man to be happy."
