I couldn't focus on the lesson being taught as I was burning holes in the stupid blond bimbo a few rows in front of me. I find it amusing that she think she can humiliate me, that I have anything to be ashamed of. In my family you are not a member unless you've had at least one stint in jail and gotten a tattoo. I've achieved both. I do feel kind of bad though for Aria, who's silently fuming from beside me. Pissed off that I nearly told the whole class her mysterious whereabouts. I wouldn't of told everyone but I know that she's so high strung that the mere hint at the topic would set her abuzz. I think she needs to feel alive more often, so I'm going to make her go to a party. But which one? My thinking is cut short by my phone ringing, causing Ms. Laven to look up from the student she was helping, I just looked at her, smiled and answered the call.
"Hey Cara, you going to be home tonight? We're having a party, so if you don't want to come, make other plans" My older brother Aiden says.
"Nah it's cool, I'll be there" I say whilst looking over to Aria with a smirk hanging of my lips.
"Yeah invite your whole year, the more people the better!!!" He screams in my year.
Agreeing and hanging up I looked over to Aria ready to fill her in on my plans.
"Your coming to my place tonight" I say to her, waiting for her to try to say no.
"Why?" She says surprising me.
"My brothers having a party, which reminds me..." I ended up cutting myself off as I climb onto my desk, distracting everyone in the class.
"HEY LOSERS PARTY AT MINE TONIGHT, COME ORBE SOCIALLY RIDICULED FOR THE REST OF YOUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS! TELL EVERYONE!! STARTS AT ELEVEN" I scream to the class, causing some people to cheer, cringe or cry.
Thirty minutes later I'm heading home, kicking stones ask walk by, thinking about tonight's party. Will she show up? I want answers and I know that she's hiding things? Aria is the last person I expected to be in an abandoned warehouse in the middle of the night but life's full of surprises.
Coming to a stop in front of the place I call home. Opening the picket fence gate, I made my way into the front yard, jumping over my dog, Frankie before opening the front door and being met with the most disgusting smell. Scrunching up my nose I stepped over random shit sprawled all over the ground and walked into the kitchen where Aiden was blowing up pool toys and my other brother Luke and his girlfriend Maddi were making out.
"Dudes it's nearly nine you need to set up not do whatever the heck your doing Aiden and sucking each others faces off *cough* Maddi *cough* Luke" I berate whilst eating from the plate of chips someone left out.
"We are getting ready thank you very much! Your actually interrupting the process so just go to your room and do your brooding, mysterious bad girl routine and come back in an hour" Aiden says gesturing upstairs.
Dramatically I pulled my backpack onto my shoulder and slowly stomped up the stairs whilst every so often sighing for effect. Once making it to my room I stopped and looked around, hiding every piece of information that Aria could see that could give her blackmailing leverage. Once that was done I went to my wardrobe trying to come up with something decent to wear whilst following the three guidelines one must always follow when choosing an outfit for a party:
1. No frills
2. No pastels (basically nothing other than dark colours)
3. No bows
Rifling through some piles, every so often sniffing some items I came up with a tight tank that showcases my tattoos, ripped skinny jeans, my black timberlands and my infamous leather jacket. Checking my phone for the time I see that the party should start soon so I wondered out onto the street waiting for her to show up. As soon as I saw her outfit I wanted to laugh. Pastel mint green, flows tank with bows and a skirt. She broke all three rules.
"Hey," I call out. "Your early."
She just nods, standing there.
"I didn't know how long it would take."
"That's fine," I chuckle before inviting her to "Come and meet the family."
Before remembering the horrendous outfit she is wearing.
"What on earth are you wearing?!" I yell. "You look like you came out of a lolly shop in a kids candy bag."
She looks down like she hadn't realised how bad it was.
"Um..." She starts to mumble.
"I'll find you something," I laughs gesturing to her to follow me before showing her the way to my house whilst talking about life well I did she mostly stayed quiet.
"Here we are," I announces.
I see her looking around, taking in every minute detail around her. It grew annoying quickly.
"Stop standing there and hurry up," I sighs. Never have I known someone like her, someone that likes to take a moment to look at her surroundings. Never someone who is so annoying but captivating at the same time. Someone who has as many secrets as me. Soon I will be the only one with the secrets because I've got a plan. You could say that this is going to be an interesting night.
