29.- Mind Meld

Donnie stood on a rooftop of a building, pulling down his goggles to scan the building in front of him, being April's school. He spotted how a familiar figure slides down from the buildings rooftop, near one of its windows, wiping them clean.

He senses a new presence approaching behind him, the figure leaping down from the roof, lifting up his goggles, the turtle notices his brunette girlfriend now standing next to him still in her school uniform.

Eva had just got out of her school from an exam, and had taken time to join help the boys with this mission that the softshell had insisted on doing since some days ago.

Upon noticing the boy's gaze on her, Eva met his eyes before quickly looking away with an obvious red shade dusted on her cheeks on remembering what happened after the night of Big Mama gala.

Donnie smirked with a chuckle before turning on his tech gauntlet, nearing it to his mouth to speak.

"This is Purple Knight. Is everyone in position?" He asked through the screens mic.

"Red King in position." Ralph's voice confirmed first, peeping around a near by corner as he wore a large trench coat with a hat over his head, covering his appearance as he stood near by on a building fire escape ladders.

"Mikey is in position." Mikey reports as he's the one closest to the building, wearing an employee uniform while he wipes down a window clean holding himself with a wire, being upside down.

"Whoa whoa whoa." Leo suddenly interrupts from his side, standing in the front yard in the open. "Why does Mikey get to use his real name as his codename?" He complained.

Donnie sighs slowly, Eva giggling quietly. "He doesn't. Orange Pond, please use your-"

"What?!" Mikey asked upset, cutting his brother off. "Why am I the pond?" He could be seen waving his arms around on his upside down figure.

"I-it quiet does suit him, i-if you think about it." Eva says in thought. "It's-"

"I'm changing my codename too!" Leo calls out as he's stood, arms waving around. "Uh, Blue- Bluey... No, Blue, uh-"

"No!" Donnie exclaims so loud that Leo has to pulled his phone away from his ear and Eva being near him, jumped back a few inches. "No! No one is changing their codenames. Please everybody, just pay attention." He sighs slowly, he also gestures Eva to get back to his side with a hand movement, telling her that it's alright.

More often or not, Eva learned that this was how most missions would go with the four brothers. Once they've lost focus and on something else, it would take forever to get them back on track, if they even get that far.

"We are dealing with the Purple Dragons. Evil, villainous hackers." Donnie speaks up, pulling Eva down to him and subconscious positioning her on his lap, back facing him.

As he's talking, Eva couldn't help but blush madly on the spot, feeling the boy's large hand rub against her sides, today totally wasn't a perfect day to have decided to wear her school uniform skirt.

Eva could barely focus on her boyfriend's words, mind spinning dizzily on his touch, not having the strength to even move an inch.

Donnie would always do this to ease his stress, having the girl's warmth calms him down, hearing her heart beat rhythm and breathing sends a smooth tune to his ears. He can't imagen a day without the girl by his side without him wanting to strangle his brothers and keep his cool.
