32.- Shadow of Evil

Wearing a spy like outfit, Eva walks out of her private bathroom, pulling down a pair of black leather gloves.

The brunette had a black sweater and black light shoes. A black beenie over her hair, which is pulled up in a messy bun underneath, her bangs sticking out on the side of her face. She also wore a belt with a few personal gadgets with what may be in need. She glances around the lair, making sure no one sees her before she jumps down the second floor, landing near the skate park. She dusts herself off and began her way out, holding a bag over her shoulder.

As she left, around the corner of the kitchen entrance, the turtles watch her leave, munching on pizza and sipping soda. There was only one reason why she'd go out dressed like that late at night.

Eva peeks behind an opening, looking over the Middle Park Zoo of New York, glaring at the sight of Baron Draxum in her view, who had summoned his purple vines to held captive pair of humans employees and animals being a rhinoceros and hog.

Taking a deep inhale, Eva breaths out in silent, lowering herself on one knee and hand on the ground, flexing her other hand.

This was something she had to do alone, finding answers to the long time questions that is yet unfound, the dairy, the strange symbols and the reasons of her creation... Need it be in the hard way, she'll get her answers one way or another.

Though she really hates having to use force, but being around with the boys and the moments that hits were necessary, she learned that not everything can be resolve with just talk and everyone leaving unharmed or none threatening behavior. She also must know the reason on why most of the victimized mutants are attracted to her, if any is cause of her blood. Her quick healing along with her immunity with any sickness. Her sudden change of personality whenever she uses the abilities and the few moments when she would unconsciously go berserk and wild, like the time that she went against Donnie or the time at Big Momma hotel.

Eva eyes snap towards the side on a sudden movement and noise from afar.

Four familiar shadows sneak past the bushes and trees near the Zoo, leaping and rushing over one place then another in a quick move, till they stay hidden as one of them pops out his head looking over a rhino, warthog, and two humans, one of which has a purple mohawk, the teen peep through his red and blue colored lens binoculars.

"Do you see her?" Mikey ask his older brother, who shook his head.

"Don't see her." Donnie replied. "She must be hiding out of sight but close enough." He frown.

It's been weeks now since Eva arrived back to the lair with her biological father dairy, since then, she stayed locked in her room up late at night and not leaving if not to attend a quick test at her school or hand over a work. She'd even also only leave her room if she needed a book from his room or lab. There was a day when Mikey tried convincing her on going out to hang out but she only waved him off without looking or saying a word. Leo also mentioned in not having seen her eat or sleep the first days. Ralph also mentioned on how one early morning he found her getting back with what seemed like a few new punching stack, finding the others to have been ripped, torn and shredded.

He hates to admit it but Donnie is getting worried. He can imagen her reasons but also can't imagine how lonely and frustrated she is in not knowing her true origin, and that the only way to find her answers is by going to the one person who had caused her harm and suffering.

Or so he thought.

"You don't think she'll do something she might regret, do you?" Leo leans over at his brother's shoulder, who immediately shrug him off.
