"From this day on. I will start my Conquest and I won't stop. Until every single piece of Land of this World is Under My Control."

Gasping in surprise, she stumbled, nearly dropping to her knees. Her eyes darted frantically, scanning the surroundings desperately to locate his presence, yet he remained invisible to her. Instead, all that met her gaze were the towering buildings stretching endlessly before her, their shadows blending with the relentless downpour outside.

No, my butterflies would have felt his presence in the village, she thought; she was certain that no one could enter the village without her knowing about it, but as she channeled her Chakra, she used every bit of paper in the village, trying to see if she could catch sight of someone new, someone who wasn't supposed to be here, but eventually, as she checked every little corner possible, she came to two conclusions.

The person that just talked could somehow hide himself even from her; perhaps it was Jiraiya-Sensei, but she highly doubted it; the man had no reason to be in the Village Hidden in the Rain. And even if he was the one who had entered, she was certain she would be able to see him. The only other likely option was this person was much further away, perhaps even outside of The Rain Village, but that was highly unlikely. She knew how telepathy worked, and it was almost impossible for someone to speak to someone from such a far distance. She heard him say that he was talking to everyone around the world who had their Chakras unlocked, but how could— Rinnegan!

This man said he was talking to us through his Rinnegan, but how this sounds similar to Nagato's Six Paths, how he uses their bodies, but no, this one was different, in a much larger scale, global scale, but not even Nagato can't do something like that, without thinking, her physical form metamorphosed into an exquisite array of a thousand delicate paper birds, each one fluttering through the expansive sky above the city. As these avian creations soared over the towering buildings below, their vibrant lights casting a mesmerizing glow, she remained unfazed by the relentless downpour, employing her inner Chakra to ensure that not a drop marred the precious letter in her possession, allowing it to glide off effortlessly, unscathed by the cascading rain.

Soon, the letters all came together, reforming her body in a small room on top of the tallest building in the village, one hundred meters tall. In front of her sat Nagato. Her heart sank every time she saw him; it had been years since, but the sight of him still broke her heart.

Nagato had pale white skin and straight red hair; he sat in a mechanical walker where he spent most of his time; six long black orbs were on his back, the very same that he held in his body since he used Gedo Statue for the first time. Unlike the other members of the Akatsuki, Nagato was the only one who didn't wear the cloak, leaving his upper body naked. He was skinny, his rib cage was visible, and he looked as if he was starving. One would think he was sleeping, but his eyes opened when he heard her footsteps. Purple eyes. The Rinnegan. The glory of their village, looking at those eyes, reminded her every time that not all hope was lost; she knew everything they did was important and would ultimately lead to a better world, but the message she had received in her head, she was certain she wasn't the only one. She was proven correct when Nagato opened his mouth to speak.
