Nang makaupo na ito ay minaniobra ni Aris ang makina ng motor, at bago nito iyon muling pinaandar ay nilingon nito si Lawrah.
"Hold on tight."
Lawrah placed her hands on the tail of the motorcycle, holding tight to the rear part of the seat.
Nagsalubong ang mga kilay ni Aris nang makita ang ginawa ni Lawrah. "Mahuhulog ka kung d'yan ka hahawak. Hold onto me."

"Paano kung hindi?"
Aris squinted his eyes in half-irritation, half-amusement. For a moment there, he contemplated if there was a hidden meaning behind Lawrah's statements, but he quickly dismissed the thought, opting not to dwell on it any further.
"Sigurado ka ba?"
"Sigurado."
Aris shot a leering glance at Lawrah before redirecting his attention forward. He then lowered his helmet's shield and said,
"Well, let's see if you can stand by those words, Lawrah."
